About Panda Express
Panda Express, located at 2015 So Dr #45, Corsicana, TX 75110, USA, falls under the platform category of Chinese Restaurant, specifically within the fast-food segment. As a well-established national chain, Panda Express aims to provide convenient and readily available Chinese-inspired cuisine. The Corsicana location offers a variety of their signature dishes, catering to individuals and families looking for a quick meal.
Based on recent customer feedback available online, the experience at the Panda Express in Corsicana appears to be somewhat inconsistent. While one reviewer noted the chain's generally positive attributes, such as a slightly nicer environment compared to other fast-food establishments due to a corporate redesign, and the provision of ample food portions, specific experiences at this location vary.
One customer shared a particularly negative experience, indicating a significant decline in food quality over time. Their order included the popular orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp, along with veggie spring rolls. The review described the honey walnut shrimp as being old, rubbery, and excessively oily, while the orange chicken was deemed not fresh, suggesting it had been sitting for an extended period. The veggie spring rolls were also reported to be oily on the inside, leading the customer to conclude it would be their last visit to this location.
Another first-time visitor to this specific Panda Express also reported issues with food quality. They ordered orange chicken with mixed greens, a common order at other Panda Express locations. However, they observed a disproportionately large serving of orange chicken. Upon closer inspection, the greens, including cabbage and kale, appeared brown, wilted, and old, with a slimy texture. The taste of the greens was described as "disgusting," leading the customer to spit them out. Even the orange chicken did not meet expectations, tasting like it had been sitting for a while and lacking freshness. This reviewer also stated their intention not to return to this particular location.
In contrast to these negative experiences, another reviewer offered a more positive perspective, aligning with the general perception of the Panda Express brand during road trips. They highlighted the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant, along with friendly and helpful staff. This customer ordered two plates with a variety of entrees, including orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, chow mein, teriyaki chicken, and Hot Ones chili chicken, along with steamed rice, and reported that both plates were "great." This suggests that positive experiences are still possible at this location.
Considering the mixed feedback, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment, services, and features of this specific Panda Express location beyond the general characteristics of the chain. Typically, Panda Express restaurants offer a casual, fast-food setting with a service model where customers order at a counter and receive their food quickly, often buffet-style for certain components. Seating is usually available for those who wish to dine in, and takeout service is a standard offering. The "corporate redesign" mentioned in one review likely refers to an effort to create a more modern and appealing ambiance across their locations.
Features of Panda Express generally include a menu with a selection of Chinese-American dishes, with orange chicken being a perennial favorite. Other popular items often include honey walnut shrimp, various chicken and beef entrees, chow mein, fried rice, and a selection of sides and appetizers like spring rolls. The service is typically focused on speed and efficiency, catering to customers looking for a quick meal.

The consistency of food quality appears to be a potential concern based on the provided feedback. If you are familiar with the Panda Express brand and its typical offerings, this location aims to provide that same convenience. However, the recent reviews suggest that the quality might not always meet the standards experienced at other locations. It may be prudent to consider the timing of your visit, as food quality in fast-food establishments can sometimes vary depending on peak hours and turnover.
In conclusion, the Panda Express in Corsicana, TX, offers Chinese fast food with the typical menu and service style associated with the chain. While some customers have found the food and service satisfactory, recent reviews indicate potential inconsistencies in food quality, particularly concerning freshness. Customer Reviews
Update: It has been one year since we were last here and stopped because, silly me, thought it might have gotten better. If there is one thing we can say about this place is that it is consistent- yes, consistently bad. We ordered one plate with two entrees, orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp and veggie spring rolls. The honey walnut shrimp was old, rubbery, and dripping in oil. The orange chicken was not fresh either. It tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. The spring rolls were oily on the inside. I couldn’t take more than one bite. So, this was officially the last time we go there. This was my first time at this location. I ordered orange chicken with greens like I always do from other locations. However, I noticed it a bit odd that they added a lot more orange chicken than at other places. When I moved the chicken to eat some greens, I noticed that the cabbage was brown and the kale was wilted and looked old. I took a bite of a section that looked decent, but the taste was disgusting. I ended up spitting it out. Also, as I moved the greens over, I noticed they were also slimy. I decided to just eat the orange chicken, but it wasn’t any better. It tasted like it had been sitting in the pot for a while. It definitely was not fresh. The pictures say it all. We will not be stopping here again.
Panda Express has slowly become a mainstay of our road trips, whenever we can find one around meal times. With their relatively recent corporate redesign, their restaurants are consistently a little nicer than other fast food joints, and serve plenty of food. This one was no exception. Clean, well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. Ordered two plates, one with orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, & chow mein, the other with teriyaki chicken, Hot Ones chili chicken, & steamed rice. Both were great!
I ordered black pepper angus steak. I seriously got two pieces of meat. The rest was mushrooms. That’s a little ridiculous if you ask me. Do better!
Will not be back to this location. What I ordered: Bowl of Super Greens and Mushroom Chicken. What I paid $10 for: Half a bowl of greens, 5 mushrooms and 1/2 a piece of chicken. I had noticed their to-go containers got smaller, that’s a corporate thing, not at the location level… but seriously? What a rip off. FYI - Didn’t catch the window lady’s name, but she was super nice.
We had drive thru. We ordered kung pow chicken with noodles and beef and broccoli with rice. What we got were steamed vegetables and rice. No meat in either dish. We asked if this was correct and they said yes everything comes pre mixed that way and sorry if we don't like it. Bro. Don't eat here they take advantage of you.
