About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 40 Sand Creek Road in Brentwood, California, is a well-known establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, specifically operating as a fast-casual dining option. Situated in the 94513 zip code, this Panda Express location can be contacted by phone at (925) 326-7996 or via mobile at +1 925-326-7996. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of what this particular Panda Express offers, based on recent customer experiences shared online.

Customer reviews present a somewhat polarized view of the service and overall experience at this Brentwood Panda Express. One reviewer recounts a negative encounter when visiting an hour before the stated closing time. According to this feedback, the staff appeared to be preparing to close early and declined to prepare any fresh food upon request. The reviewer expressed disappointment, noting a perceived decline in quality compared to past experiences and mentioning that this location is a "training facility," which seemingly contradicts the negative experience. Frustrated by the lack of food availability, the reviewer stated they would not return and would instead patronize a newly opened Wendy's next door.

Conversely, another reviewer shared a highly positive experience, specifically highlighting the exceptional service provided by an employee named Yasmin. This customer recounted struggling with online ordering and needing assistance to package their food. They praised Yasmin for her patience and helpfulness, stating that she went "way over their job title description." The reviewer expressed hope that corporate management would acknowledge Yasmin's outstanding service and commended her as a "wonderful young woman/employee." This feedback suggests that while there might be inconsistencies in food availability or operational practices, some employees at this location are providing excellent customer service.

Based on these limited but contrasting reviews, we can attempt to characterize the environment, services, and features of this Panda Express location, while acknowledging the potential for variability.

Regarding the environment, neither review provides specific details about the restaurant's ambiance or physical layout. As a standard Panda Express, it likely features a fast-casual setup with a serving line where customers can select their dishes in a cafeteria-style manner. Seating is typically available for customers who wish to dine on-site. However, the first review's focus on the late hour and perceived early closure preparations might suggest a less welcoming environment towards the end of the business day.

In terms of services, this Panda Express location offers the standard fast-casual Chinese cuisine experience. Customers can likely order in person at the counter for immediate service or place orders online or via phone for pickup. The second review highlights the potential for helpful and patient customer service, particularly in assisting with ordering processes and food packaging. However, the first review raises concerns about the willingness to prepare fresh food close to closing time, which could be a limitation in their service. The fact that this location is mentioned as a "training facility" might imply a higher turnover of staff or potentially varying levels of experience among employees, which could impact service consistency.

The features of Panda Express are generally consistent across its various locations. The chain is known for its American-Chinese cuisine, with popular dishes such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Chow Mein. Customers typically choose a base (like fried rice, white rice, or noodles), an entree (or multiple entrees for a combination plate), and sometimes an appetizer or side. The food is usually prepared in large batches and displayed along the serving line. The first reviewer's disappointment suggests that food quality and availability might not always meet expectations, especially closer to closing time. However, the general feature of Panda Express is its quick service and familiar menu of popular American-Chinese dishes.

There is no promotional information provided in the customer reviews. Therefore, we cannot comment on any specific deals, discounts, or limited-time offers that this Brentwood Panda Express might be running to attract local customers. Panda Express as a corporation often has national promotions, which might be applicable at this location, but specific local promotions are not mentioned in the provided feedback.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 40 Sand Creek Road in Brentwood offers fast-casual American-Chinese cuisine. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one highlighting a negative experience related to food availability and perceived early closure, while the other praises the exceptional patience and helpfulness of a specific employee. The environment is likely typical of a fast-casual restaurant, and services include counter ordering and potential online/phone ordering for pickup. A key feature is the standard Panda Express menu with popular dishes. Potential local users should be aware of the possibility of inconsistent food availability closer to closing time but might also encounter helpful and dedicated staff members. For information on current promotions, contacting the store directly might be necessary.

Came in an hour before they closed. It looked like they were ready to go home. I asked if they were gonna make any food and she said no what a letdown this place used to be good and it’s the training facility so I’m not sure what is going on here I think that Corporate needs to come back out and handle things. I won’t be back thank God Wendy’s just opened up next-door. They’ll get my business from now on.

Today, I had Yasmin wait on me. She was VERY patient and helpful. Helped me thru ordering online (I have no aptitude for technology) and also package my food up. I hope corporate reads these and gives acknowledgment when an employee goes way over their job title description. Yasmin did exactly that today! She is a wonderful young woman/employee!

Ordered through App for a Family Meal and other items and the App said it would be ready at 530pm so I made arrangements to pickup at that time. I arrived at 530pm to find out that my food had been sitting there for almost 30 minutes. Then when I got home, we where missing our chow mein and fried rice which is part of the family meal and the food was cold and did not taste good. I sent a message to their customer service and no response now for 2 weeks. This is the 2nd time in a row I was missing items. I will not be returning. It is not rocket science for them to check an order before bagging and taping shut. It wasn't busy so they cannot use that excuse. It is just poor training and non attentive employees.

I walked in to pick up my order and was not acknowledged by the man packing up & handing out the orders. Where I was standing, there's no way he didn't see me. He handed out two orders to people standing directly next to me but somehow you never acknowledged me standing directly in front of your face... Customer acknowledgement is a part of customer service. Picking & choosing who you acknowledge when they come through the door is not the way to run a successful business. I will not be returning. I then sit down to eat my food and find a hair in my Beijing Beef! Are you kidding me... Nope!
