About Panda Express
Panda Express, located at 2171 Rock Merritt Ave Bldg 4, Fort Liberty, NC 28307, USA, falls under the Chinese restaurant category, offering a fast-casual dining experience. As a well-known chain, Panda Express provides quick service and a menu of familiar American Chinese dishes, primarily catering to those seeking a fast and convenient meal. You can contact this Fort Liberty location at their phone number (910) 436-3085 or their mobile number +1 910-436-3085 for any inquiries.
Customer reviews offer a glimpse into the typical experience at this Panda Express location. One recurring theme in the feedback is the speed and efficiency of the service. One satisfied customer noted, "Every time I go here, they are fast, no issues with order or attitudes. People are working hard & pushing orders out. Food is delicious too." This suggests that this particular Panda Express prioritizes quick service and order accuracy, which is a key characteristic of fast-casual dining. The reviewer also commended the work ethic of the staff and found the food to be delicious, indicating a positive overall experience.
However, not all experiences have been entirely positive. Another customer shared a significant concern regarding portion sizes and the ratio of ingredients in their order. They stated, "I ordered a bowl of fried rice and broccoli beef. I got 4 little pieces of beef and around 12 pieces of broccoli florets. Normally I'm not that person that would complain, but I have to after today. After I saw my meat portion, I asked the lady at the register if I can please have some more meat and she asked another lady that did the serving and said they put more meat under the broccoli. So I went to the table next to the register to check and there was no more." This detailed account highlights a perceived imbalance in the broccoli beef dish, with a significantly larger portion of broccoli compared to beef. The customer's attempt to address this issue with the staff led to a somewhat unsatisfactory interaction.
The customer further explained the interaction with the staff: "So I went back, but this time it was a different lady at the cash register and she told me that the meal is called broccoli beef because it's more broccoli than beef. So I said that I'm willing to pay for an extra portion of meat and she said that I can chose a different meat, since they can't go and separate the meat from the broccoli." This exchange suggests a lack of flexibility in addressing the customer's concern about the meat portion. While the staff offered the option to choose a different meat, they were unable to provide an extra portion of beef to balance the existing order, even for an additional charge.
The reviewer concluded by expressing their dissatisfaction: "I had my daughter on my arm and the bad of the other food I have ordered and didn't even have the time to argue plus there was a line of people as well, so I let it go, but I don't think this is right to do. Please look at the picture I have added and I have already taken out a little bit of broccoli. The rice and meat are untouched and this is the portion I got. Am I wrong? Anything from Panda Express here, I would appreciate it." This detailed complaint raises concerns about the consistency of ingredient portions and the restaurant's handling of such issues. The customer's feeling that the portion was inadequate, even after removing some broccoli, is a point to consider for potential customers ordering this specific dish.
Regarding the environment of this Panda Express location, the reviews provide limited information. Typically, Panda Express restaurants are designed for quick service and high traffic. The atmosphere is usually casual and functional, focusing on efficiency rather than elaborate decor. Customers generally order at a counter and either take their food to go or eat in a designated seating area, which often features simple tables and chairs. The first reviewer's comment about the staff "pushing orders out" might imply a busy and perhaps less intimate dining environment compared to a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant. The second reviewer did not comment on the ambiance.
In terms of services, Panda Express primarily offers counter service for ordering and pickup, as well as dine-in options in their seating area. Given the nature of the chain, takeout is also a significant part of their service. It is likely that customers can customize their meals to some extent by choosing different entrees, sides (like fried rice, white rice, chow mein, mixed vegetables), and appetizers (like egg rolls or spring rolls). The interaction described in the second review suggests that while they aim to fulfill orders, there might be limitations in accommodating specific requests for adjusting ingredient ratios within a pre-set dish. It is common for Panda Express locations to display their menu clearly with various combination meal options and individual items.
Features of Panda Express as a chain include their standardized menu, which offers popular American Chinese dishes like Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Super Greens. They often introduce limited-time offer dishes to add variety. The emphasis is generally on providing flavorful food quickly and at a reasonable price point. The first reviewer mentioned the food being "delicious" and the speed of service as positive features of this particular location. However, the second reviewer's experience highlights a potential drawback in terms of portion control and flexibility in customizing orders.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not mention any specific promotions at this Fort Liberty Panda Express location. Panda Express as a corporation often runs national promotions, seasonal deals, and online offers. Local stores might also have specific promotions that are not mentioned in general reviews. To find out about any current deals or discounts at this location, it would be best to check the Panda Express website or app, or inquire directly at the restaurant.
In conclusion, the Panda Express at Fort Liberty, NC, appears to be a fast-casual Chinese restaurant known for its quick service and efficient staff, as highlighted by one reviewer. The food is generally considered delicious. However, another customer experienced an issue with the portion of beef in their broccoli beef dish, finding it significantly less than the broccoli, and reported limited flexibility in addressing this concern with the staff. The environment is likely typical of a fast-casual chain, focusing on functionality. Services include counter ordering, dine-in, and takeout. While the chain offers a standardized menu of popular American Chinese dishes, the experience with ingredient portions might vary. To learn about any current promotions, it is recommended to check directly with Panda Express. Local users seeking a quick and familiar Chinese meal might find this location convenient, but it's worth noting the feedback regarding ingredient ratios in certain dishes.

Every time I go here, they are fast, no issues with order or attitudes. People are working hard & pushing orders out. Food is delicious too. The rice could be softer sometimes but it's good. I get the same thing every time unless they are making a fresh batch.

This place must improve immediately before more people like myself realized the amount of food served is little, white rice is hard and dry. Quantity and speed dont mean poorly prepared food to include amounts served.
On a military post with few options. Of course, this is going to be right one of the top picks for a large amount of customers. That should not neglect service or the quantity given. The taste is the same as a standard Panda Express, and it in a compact food court area. Happy Dining!
Got food poisoning twice, first time just a stomachache. Second time I had extreme diarrhea where I had to go multiple rounds and when I thought I was good I had to go back to the toilet. Whole time on the verge of throwing up too. Don’t eat here.
