As a well-known Chinese fast-food chain, Panda Express in Elmhurst offers a convenient option for local users seeking familiar flavors. Customer reviews indicate that the service and staff are generally well-regarded, with employees described as amazing, welcoming, and attentive.

However, feedback on the food quality is mixed. One customer noted that the food was a little average compared to other Panda Express locations and mentioned an issue with the availability and quality of the noodles. Another customer found the price for two large big plates to be on the steeper side, though the portion sizes were considered generous. This reviewer described the famous orange chicken as having more breading than chicken with small pieces, and the new black pepper angus steak as underwhelming. Their favorite items were the beef with broccoli and mushroom zucchini chicken. This customer also advised skipping the white rice due to it being undercooked and recommended the lo mein instead.

On a positive note, the customer who ordered two large plates mentioned receiving a free coupon for 25% off their next purchase and a free small entree, suggesting potential promotional offers may be available.

For local users in Elmhurst looking for a quick and convenient Chinese meal, Panda Express offers a familiar menu and friendly service. However, it's worth noting the mixed reviews regarding food quality, particularly concerning the orange chicken and white rice. Customers may find better satisfaction with other menu items like the beef with broccoli and mushroom zucchini chicken, and the lo mein as an alternative to white rice. Inquire about any ongoing promotions or coupons for potential savings on your order.

The service is amazing and the people that work there are amazing. The food is a little average compared to other Panda Express locations. Also, they didn’t have any noodles so they gave me the last of what they had which doesn’t make the food super Enticing.

I ordered 2 large big plates. The total came out to be $31. The price is on the steeper side but the portion sizes were generous. I also received a free coupon for 25% off my next purchase and a free small entree. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. The famous orange chicken was more breading than chicken, the pieces were absurdly small. The new black pepper angus steak was underwhelming, sauce tasted more like canned Ragu and there was no distinctive black pepper steak. My favorite items were the beef with broccoli and mushroom zucchini chicken. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, but the food was alright. Also, skip the white rice and get the lo menu instead. Rice was so undercooked and it was tough to chew. Real white rice should be soft and fluffy. Would not buy again.

Really disappointing experience at this location. I ordered through Uber and my order was a mess. I called twice to speak to someone and neither I or the uber rep could get through to someone. I ordered the bigger plate with 2 orders of broccoli beef and one mushroom chicken. They literally sent me a plate of broccoli not one piece of beef to be found and the separate chicken container wasn't even filled halfway. They also forgot my drink.

I had lunch there. Had eaten at Panda Express at many locations. This was the worst. The chowmein was dry and looks like sitting there for long. Beijing beef was not at all fresh. And yeah, the soda tastes really weird. It seems they didn’t refill properly or done something wrong. Not gonna eat again ever.

Don’t know if the tall guy working there is high or mentally unstable, stared at me for a while after ordering and just laughed, weirdo, food was ok
