About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 1270 Promenade Pl #150 in Eagan, Minnesota, is a well-known chain restaurant categorized as a Chinese restaurant, offering a variety of American Chinese cuisine. This particular location provides both dine-in and takeout services, catering to individuals and families looking for quick and convenient meal options. Customers can contact this branch at (651) 688-0200 or +1 651-688-0200 for inquiries or to place orders.

Based on recent online reviews, the customer experience at this Eagan Panda Express location appears to be somewhat varied, with positive mentions regarding food freshness and certain staff members, but also significant negative feedback concerning food safety and customer service issues.

One positive review highlights the restaurant's commitment to serving fresh food, noting that the "good stuff" is consistently available and fresh. This customer also appreciated the proactive approach of the staff, mentioning that if they arrive right at opening time and a desired item is not yet ready, the staff offers to prioritize its preparation. This suggests a willingness to accommodate customer preferences and a focus on providing freshly cooked food.

Another glowing review specifically commends an employee named Braham (or possibly Abraham, according to the receipt), stating that this individual "goes above and beyond" to provide an exceptional experience every time they are present. The reviewer strongly recommends that Braham be recognized for his outstanding service and suggests he deserves a raise, emphasizing his significant positive impact on their dining experience.

However, a more critical review details a deeply concerning experience involving food safety and poor customer service. This customer ordered a "bigger plate" featuring orange chicken and teriyaki chicken, only to discover upon eating that "all the chicken was raw!" This is a serious food safety hazard and raises significant concerns about the restaurant's food preparation standards and quality control measures. In addition to the raw chicken, the customer ordered a 12-piece of cream cheese rangoons with extra sauce. Upon inquiring before leaving if the extra sauce was included, they were assured that it was, only to find upon arriving home that it was missing. This oversight reportedly "ruined their entire night." The situation escalated when the customer returned the next day, not even concerned about the potential food poisoning from the raw chicken, but simply wanting the sweet and sour sauce for their remaining rangoons. They were met with rude behavior from a "short middle age asian lady" who reportedly denied their request and yelled at them. The customer expressed doubt that the employee understood them due to a potential language barrier and criticized the lack of customer service skills for someone working at the front of the house. This overall experience was described as "horrible."

The stark contrast between the positive feedback regarding fresh food and a helpful employee, and the serious allegations of raw chicken and rude customer service, paints a complex picture of this Panda Express location. While some aspects of the operation, such as the freshness of food and the exceptional service provided by at least one staff member, are commendable, the significant issues raised about food safety and customer service are deeply concerning.

As a chain restaurant, Panda Express typically maintains certain standards for food preparation and customer service. However, these reviews indicate potential deviations from those standards at this particular Eagan location. The incident involving raw chicken is particularly alarming and suggests a failure in basic food safety protocols. The subsequent rude and unaccommodating behavior when the customer returned to address a missing item further compounds the negative experience.

The positive reviews suggest that when things are running smoothly, customers can expect fresh food and friendly service. The willingness of staff to prioritize cooking items upon request is a notable positive. However, the negative review serves as a strong caution about potential inconsistencies in food preparation and customer service interactions.

Information regarding the specific environment of this Panda Express location is not detailed in the provided reviews, but as a standard chain restaurant, customers can likely expect a casual, fast-food setting with a service counter and dining area. The focus is typically on quick service and convenient meal options.

In terms of services, Panda Express primarily offers takeout and dine-in. The negative review involving an issue with a takeout order highlights the importance of order accuracy, especially when dealing with potentially sensitive items like sauces. The positive mention of prioritizing food preparation for early customers suggests a degree of flexibility in their service.

There is no specific promotional information mentioned in these reviews. Panda Express as a chain often has various promotions and limited-time offers, which are usually advertised in-store, online, or through their mobile app. Local users interested in any current promotions at this Eagan location should check the Panda Express website or app, or inquire directly at the restaurant.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 1270 Promenade Pl #150 in Eagan, MN, has received mixed recent reviews. While some customers have praised the fresh food and helpful, friendly staff (with one employee receiving exceptional commendation), there are serious concerns raised about food safety (raw chicken) and significantly poor customer service experiences, including rudeness and failure to resolve order issues. Local users considering this restaurant should weigh these contrasting experiences. While the potential for fresh food and positive interactions with certain staff exists, the reported issues regarding food safety and customer service are significant factors to consider.

Always got the good stuff up and fresh, and if I come in right at open they ask if there’s anything not ready they can prioritize for me. Every single time Braham (receipt says Abraham but I swear his name tag was Braham!) is there he goes above and beyond to make it exceptional! Please let him know he’s super appreciated and needs a raise!

Ordered a bigger plate with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken just to realized that all the chicken was raw ! Besides the bigger plate I ordered a 12 piece of the cream cheese ragoons and ordered extra sauce to go with it , asked before leaving if it was on the bag just to recived a yes just to find out that there was no sauce and that just ruined my entire night. Came back next day and a short middle age asian lady recived me and was soo rude. I didn't even cared about the food poisoning I just wanted some sweet and sour sauce for my ragoons and she denied and yelled at me. I don't even believed that she understood me at all . I understand that english may have not been her first language but please if someone works on the front of the house let them understand their costumers.... horrible experience overall.

I would have to say this is the worst experience dealing with a manager. I ordered my food waited five mins for my wontons to be ready than got to the register to find out the credit card reader wasn’t working but they did not mention there where two people ahead of me that had the same problem , told us to wait ten minutes while she made a phone call than got back to me saying I have no money on my card like the customers in front of me so she wanted me to prove I had money in my account so I showed her proof than proceeded to ask for my routing number to my bank card so she could send money to her personal Wells Fargo account so sketchy and rude I declined so she hits me with panda doesn’t give out free food! I never wanted free food such a waste of time they need more training.

First time coming to this location, have tried some others nd I would say this ones one of the best we've been to so far. Food can use a bit more maintaining as some of the stuff sitting on the window seemed pretty dry from the heat so defenetly should be constantly stired or changed/refilled. Service was alright compared to the last location we visited👍🏻.
