About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a familiar "Chinese Restaurant" chain located at 8329 Pine Ave suite #150, Chino, CA 91708, USA. As a well-established name in the Chinese fast-food sector, Panda Express generally offers a quick and convenient way to enjoy Asian-inspired cuisine. You can contact this Chino location at (909) 789-0800 or their mobile number +1 909-789-0800 for any inquiries regarding their menu or services.

Panda Express restaurants typically feature a casual, fast-paced environment designed for quick service. Customers usually proceed along a service line, selecting a base (like rice or noodles) and choosing from a variety of pre-prepared entrees displayed behind a glass counter. This setup is geared towards efficiency and convenience, allowing for rapid order fulfillment for both dine-in and takeout customers. Seating areas are generally functional and designed for a quick meal.

Customer reviews for the Chino location of Panda Express present a stark contrast in experiences. One reviewer recounted two separate visits, both of which were described as "frustrating." The first visit involved a messed-up order with missing items. Despite this initial negative experience, the customer decided to give the location a second chance, only to be met with another unsatisfactory visit.

On the second occasion, this reviewer placed a mobile app order for three meals with a specific pickup time. However, upon arrival, they were reportedly made to wait an additional 25 minutes past the scheduled time. Adding to their frustration, they observed walk-in customers receiving their food before their pre-ordered meal was ready. This led the reviewer to question the efficiency and benefit of ordering ahead through the app at this location. They also described the customer service as "terrible," noting a lack of updates or apologies during the extended wait. Based on their experiences and a review of other feedback, this customer strongly advised others to "Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere," indicating a significant level of dissatisfaction and a belief in systemic issues at this particular Panda Express.

In stark contrast, another reviewer had a consistently positive experience at this same Chino location. They stated, "It’s always good to come to this panda. I never had any issues and they never held back on portion sizes like other store. 5/5 for service, food and etc." This feedback highlights positive aspects such as consistent quality, generous portion sizes (in comparison to other Panda Express locations, implying variability within the chain), and excellent overall service. This reviewer specifically mentioned enjoying visiting after work due to the food being "hot and fresh to go," suggesting efficiency in preparing and serving food, particularly for takeout.

Considering these two very different perspectives, the experience at the Panda Express in Chino appears to be highly variable. While one customer encountered significant problems with order accuracy, wait times for mobile orders, and poor customer service across multiple visits, another consistently found the food and service to be excellent, with generous portions. This discrepancy suggests potential inconsistencies in the operational efficiency and quality control at this specific location.

As a standard Panda Express restaurant, the menu at the Chino location likely includes popular dishes such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, and Beef and Broccoli. Customers can typically choose these entrees to accompany a base of fried rice, steamed white rice, brown rice, chow mein, or super greens. Appetizers like spring rolls and cream cheese rangoon are also usually available.

Given that Panda Express is a national chain, promotional offers and menu updates are generally consistent across locations. Local users in Chino may want to check the Panda Express website or app for any current promotions or limited-time offerings that might be available.

For local users in Chino looking for a quick Chinese fast-food option, Panda Express is a readily accessible choice. However, the strongly contrasting customer reviews suggest that experiences can differ significantly at this particular location. While one reviewer found consistent excellence in food, service, and portion sizes, another reported repeated issues with order accuracy, long wait times for mobile orders, and poor customer service. Potential customers may want to weigh these differing opinions when deciding whether to visit this Panda Express and perhaps consider the timing of their visit or the method of ordering (in-person vs. mobile app) based on the feedback provided.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located on Pine Avenue in Chino offers the standard Panda Express menu and service model. However, customer experiences at this location appear to be inconsistent. While one reviewer consistently praises the service, food, and portion sizes, another recounts multiple frustrating visits marked by order errors, excessive wait times for mobile orders, and poor customer service. Local users should be aware of these differing perspectives when considering this restaurant for their Chinese fast-food needs.

This is my second visit to this location, and both times have been frustrating. The first time, they messed up my order and forgot items. I decided to give them another chance, but it was just as bad. I placed an order through the app for three meals, expecting it to be ready at the scheduled time. Instead, I had to wait 25 minutes past the pickup time, while walk-in customers were getting their food before me. What’s the point of ordering ahead if it takes longer than ordering in person? The customer service is terrible—no updates, no apologies, just a long wait. I checked their reviews and now completely understand the low rating. This place hasn't been open long, but it's already clear why people are avoiding it. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

It’s always good to come to this panda. I never had any issues and they never held back on portion sizes like other store. 5/5 for service, food and etc. I like coming here straight after work since they have everything hot and fresh to go

The employee, Mayra, is very rude. Not just once but on multiple occasions. Whenever I ask her to cut the terriyaki chicken in small pieces, she always gives an attitude. This is unacceptable . Don’t bring your ghetto personality in a nice neighborhood or anywhere. You have no right to be rude to any customer. This is not the first and I’ve had it with this employee’s rudeness. She needs to just not work there anymore.

12/05/24: I’m extremely disappointed with how this location handled its promotional event. They advertised participation in a special promotion - National Comfort Food Day, but when it was finally our turn, they claimed the hoodies were no longer available. The store opened at 9:30 AM, and we arrived at 10:00 AM to get in line. They claimed all the hoodies were gone within just half an hour. This seems highly questionable. How could such a large number of hoodies disappear so quickly? This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Panda Express, if you’re going to hold events like this, at least manage them properly and treat your customers with honesty and fairness.

If there was an option to choose one star, i would. This is by far the worst panda express ive ever been to in my life; both service wise, and food wise. The employees are so disrespectful and dismissive, but i can see why with the type of manager leading them. She was completely unprofessional every single time I’ve visited. She speaks so loud and as if she’s berating me or something. I asked her for a cup of water after ordering 5 plates of food, and she comes up to me yelling to throw it away as im filling it up. Despite this, i gave them another chance, and ordered again a couple weeks later. I placed my order online, and when i went to pick it up, it wasnt there. I told her about it and she started yelling at me telling me that I’d already picked it up earllier and that i was lying, even though I had just pulled up from a completely different city. When I called later on to ask for help, she yelled at me over the phone and hung up immediately. To add on, the food isnt even good, and is usually cold, and looks like its all scraps and not even actual food. And to bring up hygiene, I caught one of the cooks smoking outside when waiting for my order once, and then he came inside and didnt wash his hands, and immediately got back to touching all the food and cooking. This is the worst panda express ever, and I do not recommend visiting this location. I dont know whats up with the power-tripping manager, because she definitely has a lot of audacity to get disrespectful with customers when shes living off the money they pay with. Place definitely needs to be looked into immediately cause I cannot believe it is still even open. Absolutely ridiculous girl bye. 🙄
