About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, conveniently situated at 1115 Outlet Collection Way in Auburn, Washington, 98001, USA. As a familiar name in the realm of American Chinese fast food, Panda Express offers local users in Auburn a quick and accessible option for a variety of popular dishes. Located within a busy shopping area, it caters to shoppers and locals seeking a convenient meal.

Based on the limited customer feedback provided, the environment of this particular Panda Express location within the Outlet Collection Way appears to be consistent with typical fast-food establishments. One reviewer mentioned the presence of "tiny, torture chairs," suggesting that seating might not be the most comfortable for prolonged periods. This is a common characteristic of food court seating designed for quick turnover rather than leisurely dining. However, another reviewer's experience at a busy time (9 pm on a Friday) did not focus on the seating but rather on the efficiency of the service.

Regarding services, Panda Express is primarily known for its quick service model. Customers typically order at a counter and receive their food cafeteria-style, often in to-go containers even when dining in. This Auburn location seems to uphold this standard, with one reviewer specifically commending the manager for communicating with staff and customers "clearly and efficiently," especially during a busy period. This suggests that even during peak hours, the service can be well-managed and effective, ensuring a relatively smooth experience for customers looking for a fast meal.

A key feature of Panda Express is its menu of American Chinese cuisine staples. Among the dishes mentioned in the reviews, the Honey Walnut Shrimp stands out as a favorite for at least one customer. This popular item, known for its crispy shrimp coated in a sweet and creamy sauce and topped with glazed walnuts, is a signature offering that attracts many patrons. The same reviewer also mentioned enjoying the fortune cookies, a quintessential part of the American Chinese dining experience.

However, not all aspects of the menu received positive feedback. The "mystery beverages" were a point of confusion and dissatisfaction for one customer. These drinks, which were not clearly labeled as juice, flavored lemonade, or tea, were described as tasting like "pure sugar with some fruit flavoring." This suggests a potential issue with the clarity and quality of some beverage options, which could be a point of concern for health-conscious or discerning customers.

The comparison to Chipotle regarding seating comfort ("tiny, torture chair convention") implies a shared focus on rapid customer turnover rather than providing a relaxed dining atmosphere. This is typical for fast-food outlets, especially those located in high-traffic areas like shopping malls. Customers looking for a comfortable and leisurely dining experience might find the ambiance less appealing.

The positive feedback regarding the manager's performance during a busy time is a significant highlight. The reviewer likened the manager to a "Conductor with her Orchestra," emphasizing clear and efficient communication with both staff and customers. This level of effective management can greatly enhance the overall customer experience, even in a fast-paced environment. The reviewer's strong recommendation of this location based on the manager's abilities suggests that the leadership at this Auburn Panda Express contributes positively to its operation.

As a large chain, Panda Express often has national promotions and limited-time offers. However, the provided reviews do not contain any specific promotional information for this Auburn location. Local users interested in potential discounts, family meal deals, or new menu item promotions are advised to check the official Panda Express website or inquire at the store directly. It is common for Panda Express to feature seasonal specials or online-exclusive offers that could provide added value to customers.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 1115 Outlet Collection Way in Auburn offers a familiar and convenient option for American Chinese fast food. While the seating may not be ideal for extended dining, the service, particularly the management during busy periods, has received positive remarks. Popular dishes like the Honey Walnut Shrimp remain a draw, though some beverage options may not meet all customers' expectations. As a well-established chain, Panda Express provides a consistent and quick meal solution for shoppers and locals in the Auburn area. For those seeking familiar flavors and efficient service within the Outlet Collection, this location is a readily available choice. To stay informed about any potential promotions or new menu items, checking official Panda Express channels is recommended.

My boyfriend loves it but I usually pass. The only thing I enjoy is the Honey Walnet Shrimp and the Fortune cookie. They had mystery beverages that weren't claiming to be juice, flavored lemonade or tea, super confusing and just tasted like pure sugar with some fruit flavoring. This place and Chipotle were at the same tiny, torture chair convention. If your customer loves food, maybe consider that some of us might be fat? Thanks for the pain...

It was pretty busy when we went here at 9pm on a Friday night and the manager was absolutely amazing. She was communicating with her staff and customers clearly and efficiently, like a Conductor with her Orchestra. I would recommend this location to anyone because of her.

The food/service/atmosphere are 3-stars, and yet somehow overall it gets 4-stars. Panda Express, for what it is, is actually decent flavor Chinese-generic Asian food that you can get as drive through fast food on a budget. A “main” and rice for $8.60 is a decent price. Teriyaki chicken seems to be actually cooked over a flame. The interior was a bit unkempt on the two occasions I visited this location but otherwise no complaints.

i literally dont make reviews ever but like….. the person at the drive through was slow as hell, had my phone (for apple pay) inside for at least 4 minutes straight… got confused on one plate of white rice, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp….. than got the second order completely wrong like literally the opposite kind of meat, an how do you genuinely miscount an order of rangoons?

I ordered meals through the drive through. I asked the employee if the entree I ordered had 2 of my daughters allergens in it and the employee answered no. I was uneasy at her quick response and since my daughter’s allergies are anaphylactic level I asked a second employee at the drive through. He also stated they were allergen free of the two ingredients. I was still uneasy and questioned him more which lead him to find out it did actually contain 1/2 anaphylactic ingredients for my daughter. Due to this experience I will never be back to Panda Express. The online allergy menu for the company does not cover all the top allergens and 1/2 allergens for my daughter is not included despite being an ingredient in a lot of their food.
