About Panda Express

Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant located at 10445 Olive Blvd in Creve Coeur, Missouri. As part of the well-known chain of Chinese restaurants, this location provides a variety of American Chinese cuisine options to the local community. Situated at 10445 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141, they can be contacted at (314) 569-9063 or +1 314-569-9063 for inquiries regarding their menu, hours, or ordering options.

One of the unique features of this particular Panda Express location, as highlighted by a customer review, is its impressive outdoor patio. Situated on top of a bluff, the patio takes advantage of the natural landscape, offering a view to the west where one can partially observe the sunset each evening, despite another building slightly obstructing the full view. This suggests that the environment of this Panda Express extends beyond the typical fast-food setting, providing an outdoor space with a scenic view that could enhance the dining experience for those who choose to eat on-site.

In terms of services, this Panda Express location offers multiple options for customers, including dine-in, takeout, and a drive-thru. The drive-thru service provides added convenience for those who prefer to get their food without leaving their vehicles. However, one reviewer noted a potential downside to using the drive-thru, mentioning that you "just get what you get," without the opportunity to inspect the entrées before they are packed. This suggests that customers who are particular about the freshness or appearance of their food might prefer to order inside the store where they can see the dishes before making their selection.

Promotional information was mentioned by one customer who stated they received a 20% discount, which influenced their decision to visit. This indicates that this location may occasionally offer promotions or discounts that could be attractive to local users. It would be advisable for potential customers to inquire about any current offers when ordering.

However, the reviews also raise concerns about the quality and freshness of the food. One customer who visited during their lunch break, hoping for fresh food, expressed extreme disappointment. They ordered mushroom chicken and paid extra for black pepper steak with chow mein. They described the quality as "horrible" and suspected they received leftovers from the previous day. Despite being hungry, they ate what they could but stated they would "definitely never return," which is a strong negative sentiment from a local resident.

Another customer who dined in also had a mixed experience with the food. While they rated the food as "slightly better than average" overall, they specifically mentioned that the dish they initially desired contained "old vegetables," which was a significant deterrent for them. They noted that this might be a common issue across restaurants where older food is mixed with fresh instead of being discarded. This observation suggests a potential inconsistency in food freshness at this location.

Despite the concerns about food quality, the reviewer who mentioned the old vegetables also provided a valuable tip for other customers: they recommended entering the store to see the entrées before they are placed in a to-go box, especially if opting for takeout. This proactive approach can help customers ensure they are satisfied with the appearance and presumably the freshness of their food before leaving the restaurant.

One additional point mentioned in the reviews is that the parking lot at this location is "kind of limited." This could be a factor for local users to consider, especially during peak hours, as it might make it more challenging to find a parking spot.

In summary, the Panda Express at 10445 Olive Blvd in Creve Coeur, MO, offers dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru services. A notable feature is its outdoor patio with a partial sunset view. While the staff and potential promotions might be appealing, there are significant concerns raised in the customer reviews regarding the freshness and quality of the food, with reports of potentially old vegetables and suspected leftovers being served. Parking might also be limited. Local users considering this Chinese restaurant should weigh these factors, perhaps opting to dine in or inspect their takeout orders before leaving to ensure satisfaction.

For those in the Creve Coeur area looking for a Panda Express location, this one offers the convenience of a drive-thru and a unique outdoor seating area. However, the feedback regarding food quality and freshness suggests that caution might be warranted. It may be advisable to visit during peak hours when food is likely to be fresher or to follow the recommendation of inspecting the dishes before taking them to go. Keep in mind the potential limitations with parking, especially during busy times.

Came here because I live a hop skip jump away and got 20% off so got the mushroom chicken and paid extra for black pepper steak with chow mein. I'll let you see for yourself the horrible quality of it, i even came early hoping the food would be fresh. I'm pretty sure I just wound up getting leftovers from the prior day. I ate what I could just because I was starving but I will definitely never return. Too bad for me too because I live fairly close.

I am mostly impressed with the outdoor patio view which I experienced at this restaurant. Situated on top of a bluff, this location takes advantage of the natural landscape. Looking west—although there’s another building that gets in the way—you can still partially observe the sunset from here each evening. Parking lot is kind of limited. Food was slightly better than average: I didn’t give it five stars because the dish I desired contained old vegetables in it, which is a hard pass for me. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence across restaurants as they mix the fresh food in with the old, instead of throwing the old food out. But I didn’t want to say anything and be a Karen about it, so I simply selected something else. I’ve found that it’s always best to enter in the store, that way you can see the entrées before they place it inside your to go box. With a drive-through, you just get what you get, which doesn’t work for me.

These people gave me food that sat out for 7 hours, it was a pick up order I couldn’t make to pick up I called 4 times no answer, I called an hour after ordering again and some little girl picked up with an attitude as if answering the phone isn’t part of her minimum wage job. Said she can’t cancel it but I can come get it later, I show up at 5 after work and ask them to kindly remake it was I called earlier, they then handed me cold dry old food, I asked again was this remade (it took them 3 seconds to hand it to me clearly not remade) he told me yes it was and gave me bad food. Do not recommend.

Black mold on the ceiling, charcoal with my chicken, cold food that sat out for 15 minutes, had to wait for another 10, got less than a single serving of orange chicken and when I asked for more they gave me half a scoop, the workers had no idea what they were doing couldn’t even cut the chicken, and took forever. Can’t get much worse than this.
