About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 14517 NE Fourth Plain Blvd in Vancouver, Washington, 98682, is a well-known chain restaurant offering American Chinese cuisine. The Vancouver location can be contacted at (564) 888-2199 or their mobile number +1 564-888-2199 for inquiries or to place orders.

Based on recent online customer reviews specific to this Vancouver location, a significant concern has been raised regarding the quantity of food served relative to the order size and expectations. One customer detailed a negative experience where they ordered two medium and one large-sized entrees. According to this reviewer, all three containers they received appeared to be the same size, with only one being marked as "large." Furthermore, they noted that the shrimp entree was only filled to approximately three-quarters of the container's capacity. This customer expressed disappointment, recalling a time when Panda Express was considered a "great place." They interpreted the discrepancy in container sizes and the underfilling of the shrimp as a cost-saving measure at the expense of customer satisfaction. Feeling that they were being misled about the portion sizes, this reviewer stated their intention to cease purchasing from Panda Express altogether.

Another customer, who enjoys the food at Panda Express, also voiced a concern about the serving sizes when dining in the store. They noted that the food was consistently not filled nearly all the way into the containers. This suggests that the issue of portion sizes and filling levels might not be isolated to takeout orders but could also be a practice for dine-in customers at this particular location.

Considering these two recent reviews, a clear theme emerges regarding the perceived inadequacy of food quantity at the Panda Express in Vancouver, WA. Customers are expressing concerns that they are not receiving the expected amount of food for the size they ordered, with one reviewer suggesting a deliberate attempt to pass off smaller portions as larger ones. The underfilling of containers, even for those dining in, further reinforces this perception of receiving less food than anticipated.

These reviews do not provide any information about the environment or ambiance of this specific Panda Express location. Customers focused solely on the issue of food quantity and portion sizes in their feedback. Therefore, it is not possible to describe the atmosphere or decor of the establishment based on this limited information.

Similarly, the reviews do not offer insights into the services provided by this Panda Express location beyond the fact that they offer both takeout and dine-in options. There is no feedback on the friendliness or efficiency of the staff, the speed of service, or the ease of ordering. The sole focus of the provided reviews is the perceived problem with food quantity.

Likewise, the reviews do not highlight any specific features of this Panda Express location. Panda Express, as a chain, is known for certain menu items like the Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken, but these are not specifically mentioned in the context of positive or negative attributes in these reviews. The concern is purely about the amount of food received.

Finally, there is no promotional information included in the provided customer reviews. Therefore, we have no details about any special offers, discounts, or promotions that this Panda Express location might be currently running. As a national chain, Panda Express often has various promotions, but these are not mentioned in the context of these specific reviews for the Vancouver location.

For local users in Vancouver, WA, who are considering Panda Express at 14517 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, it is important to be aware of these recent customer concerns regarding food quantity. The feedback suggests a potential issue with receiving the expected portion sizes for the ordered items, both for takeout and dine-in. While the taste and quality of the food are not the primary focus of these reviews, the perceived discrepancy in quantity could impact the overall value and satisfaction for customers.

Potential customers might want to consider these recent experiences when making their dining decisions. If receiving the expected amount of food is a significant factor, it might be prudent to pay close attention to the portion sizes when ordering from this particular Panda Express location. Observing the filling levels of the containers, especially for different sizes of entrees, could help manage expectations. It might also be worthwhile to check if other recent reviews corroborate these concerns about food quantity.

In conclusion, recent online reviews for the Panda Express in Vancouver, WA, located at 14517 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, highlight a notable concern among customers regarding the quantity of food served. Reports of similar-sized containers for different order sizes and underfilled entrees suggest a potential issue with portion control that may impact customer satisfaction. Local users should be aware of this feedback when considering this dining option.

I ordered 2 medium and 1 large size entree. All three boxes were the same size with one just marked large. The shrimp came only 3/4 full. Panda Express used to be a great place. Trying to pass off the large and medium, when the boxes are the same or not filling them so you can save money is disgusting. This is not the first time either. I'll go ahead and help Panda save more money and not buy anything at all. Have the day you deserve Panda Express.

This location is near where I live and I go here pretty often and they always barely pour food. I pay for a plate but they’ll barely pour chow mein and chicken. You need to stop being so greedy.

A few weeks ago, I was not feeling well, it was some RSV that left me with flu type symptoms. I didn’t eat for days. When I felt I could finally ate, the only thing I wanted was the Pepper Steak from Panda Express - the only thing is that I do not like onions which are mixed in - we requested no onions or at least as few as possible. I knew that this would be a difficult thing and maybe I was asking for too much, but goodness they came through. I greatly appreciate the time they took to assist with that - the food was fantastic. But what stood out even more was their willingness to take the time to help when they didn’t have to. Actions like that go a long way with me and I know there are a chain and my patronage may not make a difference, but I know I am getting food from a place that was kind enough to do that. Thank you so much.
