About Panda Express
Welcome to Panda Express, located at 4190 N State Rd 7, Coral Springs, FL 33067, USA. As a well-established chain in the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express typically offers a fast-casual dining experience with a variety of popular American-Chinese dishes. However, recent customer reviews for this specific location in Coral Springs, FL, present a mixed bag of experiences, with significant concerns raised alongside some positive feedback regarding individual staff members.
One long-time customer, who had been visiting this Panda Express since its opening, expressed considerable disappointment in the declining standards of staff care, customer service, and portion sizes over time. Their most recent experience led them to vow not to return. This customer detailed a series of negative interactions, starting with a "halfhearted greeting" from a regular front-of-house staff member. Their request for a sample of the new bourbon chicken was denied, a policy that differed from past practices at some food establishments. Upon ordering a larger plate with various items, including a large honey walnut shrimp, the customer reported being ignored while inquiring about the availability of the shrimp, as the serving station was empty. They also noted the staff member's focus shifting to other tasks without acknowledging their question.
A significant concern raised by this reviewer involved the unsanitary food handling practices of a kitchen staff member. They observed an individual in the back, near the woks and fryers, eating food without gloves and seemingly without washing their hands afterward. Given the reviewer's extensive experience in the food industry, they were particularly disgusted by this lack of basic hygiene. While gloves may be optional in some contexts, the act of eating while handling food and then not washing hands poses a clear risk of contamination.
Further issues arose when the customer's order was being packed. They reported being approached by a staff member who asked if they were all set, despite the order clearly having empty compartments in the labeled boxes. The reviewer admitted to being somewhat rude due to low blood sugar but also pointed out the lack of common sense in the incomplete order packaging. Finally, they were dismayed to see the manager on duty sitting in the dining room eating her meal while a line of customers wrapped around the tables, indicating a lack of leadership and support for the team during a busy period. The customer concluded their review by stating their intention not to return and expressed hope for improvement or closure of the establishment, advising others to seek Chinese food elsewhere. They also provided a photo showing their $17 honey walnut shrimp order appearing only two-thirds full, further highlighting the issue of portion sizes.
In contrast to this detailed negative account, two other reviews offered positive feedback, specifically mentioning a staff member named Lune. One reviewer stated that they were "super satisfied" with Lune's service, describing her as providing "great customer service" and being "very kind." They were also happy with their food and looked forward to returning. Another very brief review simply stated, "Lune is awesome!" These positive comments suggest that while there may be broader issues with the restaurant's operations, some individual staff members are providing excellent service.
Considering these contrasting experiences, local users approaching the Panda Express in Coral Springs, FL, should be aware of the potential for declining customer service, unsanitary food handling practices, issues with order accuracy and completeness, concerns about portion sizes, and a lack of proactive management presence during busy times. However, they should also note that some staff members, like Lune, are being recognized for their positive service.
To provide a more structured overview for local users:
Environment: The reviews do not offer specific details about the ambiance or cleanliness of the dining area, aside from the mention of the manager eating in the dining room during a busy period, which could be perceived negatively in terms of management focus. The primary focus of the negative review was on service and food handling rather than the physical environment itself.
Services: Customer service at this location appears to be inconsistent. While one staff member, Lune, received high praise for kindness and great service, another long-term customer reported declining staff care, halfhearted greetings, and being ignored. The refusal to provide a sample of a new menu item and the apparent lack of attention to detail in order fulfillment also point to potential service issues. The observation of a manager not actively managing during a busy time further suggests shortcomings in overall service management.
Features: Panda Express is known for dishes like orange chicken, bourbon chicken (new), and honey walnut shrimp. However, the quality and portion sizes of these items seem to be inconsistent at this location. One reviewer found the honey walnut shrimp order to be significantly underfilled. A major concern is the reported unsanitary food handling practices by kitchen staff, which could compromise the safety and quality of the food. The lack of clear communication regarding food availability (e.g., the honey walnut shrimp station being empty without explanation) is also a negative feature.
Promotional Information: The provided reviews do not contain any specific information about current promotions, discounts, or special offers for this Panda Express location. Typically, Panda Express may offer online ordering deals, family meal bundles, or seasonal promotions. Local users would need to check the official Panda Express website or app, or contact the store directly at (954) 757-3992 to inquire about any current promotions.
In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 4190 N State Rd 7, Coral Springs, FL, presents a complex picture based on recent customer reviews. While some staff members are commended for their excellent service, there are significant concerns regarding declining overall service standards, unsanitary food handling practices, inconsistent portion sizes, and a lack of proactive management. Local users should be aware of these potential issues when considering dining at or ordering from this location. The stark contrast between the positive feedback for individual staff and the broader negative experiences suggests that the quality of service and food handling may vary. It would be wise to consider these recent experiences and perhaps monitor for more consistent and positive feedback before becoming a regular customer of this particular Panda Express location.

Customer Reviews
I have been coming to this restaurant since it’s opening, and have continually watched the decline of staff care, customer service, and portion sizes. Today something in me just called it quits. I have ordered numerous times off of Uber and in person. Today I walked in to order my usual with a little extra. As I approached the counter I’m met with my usual halfhearted greeting by the same girl who usually works the front. I order my usual and since they no longer have the Sweet fire chick I ask if I can sample their new bourbon chicken. Since I don’t wanna buy something if I don’t like it. She say no they don’t do sample anymore and then proceededs to ask me “what I want”. I order a bigger plate:1/2greens 1/2chow, the burbon chicken, orange chicken, and teriyaki. She starts her thing and I also tell her that I’d like a large honey walnut shrimp. It’s empty and I go to ask her how long it’ll take she then ignores me and starts say she needs more shrimp & orange chicken. Then passes my food along to the next counter. As I’m waiting I notice the boy in the back by the woks and fryers wearing a Black undershirt popping food into his mouth eating, now I have worked in the food industry for YEARS. I know damn well 1:gloves are optional, he chose not to wear any(not that big a deal) but it’s that fact that he decided to start munching on whatever he was eating while handling food!!!! He knowingly did that and chose NOT to then go and wash his hands after eating. I was beyond disgusted at the lack of sanitary precautions that boy was taking. I was just glad my food was finished before I saw that. As I was waiting for the rest of my food to be packed one girl approached my back as asked if I was all set. Now I will admit my blood sugar was low so I may have been a bit rude to her and snapped a bit, but also the bag had empty boxes and they’re labeled. So like common sense????hello???? Lastly the manager on duty, while there is a line that was wrapping around the tables is sitting in the dining room eating her meal not caring. I have been in manager positions before and would never leave my team like that. In conclusion I will not be eating there again, nor ordering from Uber again. Especially when my honey walnut shrimp cost me $17 and only came 2/3rds full. I hope this place improves or closes. If you want Chinese food just go somewhere else don’t go here. Attached is a photo of the shrimp I bought.
Zeke and I came in and we were super satisfied with Lune the lady who served us. She gave us great customer service. She was very kind to us. We were happy with our food and look forward to coming back more often. You guys food are delicious! Thank you! Lune is awesome!
The wait was VERY LONG. I know the server did the best they could but the online orders need to be separated from the persons coming in. It felt chaotic and things ran out quickly. What should have taken 10 minutes to me about 40 minutes that night. The food was okay, but I went for the noodles and once that's on point.... the orange chicken was good... teriyaki chicken was good enough, the beef was okay too.... it's not amazing food but it's workable and I love that I can see where my food is being prepared so this is the main reason I keep going back on occasions.
I always loved panda express but after my experience in this specific one, they got my respect! The last time I went there, I paid cash and because I was in a hurry the cashier was going to grab my change what I needed to go, and I completely forgot about it. The next time I went there they gave me a discount of the same amount of money I left behind. I didn’t even say anything or asked for it… It’s a very serious business and treat the client really well I really recommend this location!
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Extremely dirty. The food was all old and dry and they only gave me 4 pieces of chicken. All the tables were very dirty. The drink machine was broken and was very messy. When I went to ask why I only got 4 pieces of chicken they just said that it’s whatever and if you get lucky then you’ll get more. They also told me that they had something I ordered and then at the end they said they didn’t have it. They also charged me extra for something I didn’t get. I wouldn’t come back here even if they paid me. Horrible food, extremely dirty, bad customer service, by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had in years at any restaurant.
