About Panda Express

Panda Express is a well-known Chinese fast-food restaurant located at 454 N H St in San Bernardino, California. As part of a large chain within the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express offers a convenient option for quick-service Chinese-American cuisine to local residents and visitors. The San Bernardino location can be contacted at (909) 660-8711 or via mobile phone at +1 909-660-8711.

Based on recent online feedback, customer experiences at this particular Panda Express location in San Bernardino present a somewhat contrasting picture. One reviewer expressed a notably positive opinion, stating that the food quality at this branch is superior to that of the Panda Express locations in Redlands. They specifically mentioned that the food tastes "much better" here and credited the employees with knowing how to cook the food well. This reviewer also commented on the cleanliness of the food preparation area, describing it as "exceptional," which suggests a high standard of hygiene. While they noted that the portion sizes were not excessive, they emphasized the excellent food quality and cleanliness as key strengths of this location.

However, another customer shared a significantly negative experience during what was described as an unusual disappointment after frequenting this location. This reviewer placed an order that included a plate with bourbon chicken, Beijing beef, and chow mein, along with separate orders of veggie egg rolls and cream cheese rangoons. Upon arriving at work, they discovered that their cream cheese rangoons were missing from the order. After calling the restaurant, they were assured that the missing item would be replaced on their next visit, which they accepted. However, upon taking their lunch break, they found that their main plate contained bourbon chicken and teriyaki chicken instead of the ordered bourbon chicken and Beijing beef. This indicated a complete error in the entree selection. Furthermore, the veggie egg rolls they received turned out to be chicken egg rolls, compounding the order inaccuracies. While the reviewer stated they might have forgiven a single error, the multiple mistakes, including missing and incorrect items, led them to describe the entire order as a "Total failure all the way around." They acknowledged that the restaurant might have been busy but questioned how such a significant number of errors could occur. Additionally, this reviewer also commented on the "small ass portions," expressing dissatisfaction with the quantity of food received.

Considering these two recent reviews, the Panda Express in San Bernardino at 454 N H St appears to have both strengths and weaknesses. On the positive side, one customer found the food quality and cleanliness to be exceptional, even preferring it over other locations. On the negative side, another customer experienced a severely inaccurate order with missing and incorrect items, as well as smaller than expected portion sizes. This suggests potential inconsistencies in order accuracy and portion management at this location.

For local users in San Bernardino seeking a quick Chinese meal from Panda Express, this specific location offers the familiarity of the chain's menu. The positive feedback regarding food quality and cleanliness from one reviewer might be reassuring. However, the significant order errors and concerns about portion sizes raised by another customer should also be taken into consideration. Potential customers might want to double-check their orders before leaving the premises to ensure accuracy.

As a fast-food chain, Panda Express typically offers a casual dining environment geared towards efficiency and quick service. Customers usually order at a counter and can choose to dine in or take their food to go. The menu features a variety of Chinese-American dishes, often displayed for easy selection. While the reviews do not specifically describe the ambiance of this particular San Bernardino location, it is likely to align with the standard Panda Express layout and atmosphere.

Features of Panda Express generally include their popular dishes like orange chicken, kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, and a selection of chow mein, fried rice, and other sides. The service is usually focused on speed and convenience. While the provided reviews do not mention any specific promotions for this San Bernardino branch, Panda Express as a whole often has various deals and offers available, which customers might want to inquire about in-store or check online.

The contrasting experiences highlighted in the reviews suggest that the quality and service at this San Bernardino Panda Express might be variable. While some customers may enjoy the food and cleanliness, others might encounter issues with order accuracy and portion sizes. It is important for potential customers to weigh these factors based on their own priorities and expectations.

In conclusion, the Panda Express at 454 N H St in San Bernardino offers the standard Panda Express menu in a fast-food setting. While one reviewer praised the food quality and cleanliness as exceptional, another reported significant issues with order accuracy and portion sizes. Local users considering this location should be aware of these differing experiences and might want to take extra precautions to ensure their orders are correct.

I come here all the time and this is the first time I am disappointed. I ordered a plate with bourbon chicken, beijing beef and chow mein, order of veggie egg rolls and order of cream cheese rangoons . First I got to work and went to snack on my rangoons which were missing. I called and was assured they will be repla ced on my next visit, ok cool no problem. Well now I get my first break and I go to eat my food and I was given bourbon chicken and teriyaki chicken totally disappointed that they messed up my order in every way possible. Also my veggie egg rolls ended up being chicken i can forgive this if it was only thing wrong but this order was a Total failure all the way around I get that they're busy but how do you screw up an order that bad? Missing items and wrong items 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Also small ass portions wtf

Like the many vegetable options they have... Dinned in because the drivethrough was long line BUT the workers were moving efficiently fast and by the time I sat there was no line in drivethrough. Friendly service.

I ordered a plate and only got less than half of what I paid for. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location in the span of a week. The first time this happened I let it go because things happen, but now I feel like I've been cheated. We all work hard for our money, and in this economy there should be no room to dupe and disrespect hard working customers. This is very rude, disappointing, and unprofessional and now I will choose peace and protection in regards to my wallet and will never return here again.

Today 2/15/2022 the Mask Mandate was lifted in San Bernardino and other counties. They still had a sign on the door that masks are required. We didn’t have masks and they instructed us where they had them to wear. My wife started to say wasn’t required and stopped. My wife asked for only a little rice and more noodles, though she still got a lot of rice. The portions were not large as did not overfill box usually do. The sweet n sour sauce and other condiments were given in to-go little packets, not the plastic buckets. They forgot to give us fortune cookies and when we asked they apologized for forgetting. The food was good! We sat for a bit after done eating and they were still open and we were taking pictures for this review and appeared to make them uncomfortable as they were asking, “is everything okay?”, “ do you need anything else?”, so we decided to leave.
