About Panda Express

Panda Express, situated at 2850 New Center Point in Colorado Springs, is part of a well-established chain of Chinese fast-food restaurants, offering a variety of Chinese-American cuisine for quick service dining. Operating within the "Chinese Restaurant" category, Panda Express typically provides options for both eating on-site and taking food to go, catering to customers seeking a convenient and familiar fast-food experience.

Recent customer reviews for this specific Panda Express location, however, raise significant concerns regarding food presentation and handling practices. One customer expressed strong dissatisfaction with the way their food was arranged, stating that the items ordered were "just piled" into a compartmentalized tray. They specifically mentioned that beef and broccoli were placed at the bottom with Kung Pao chicken piled on top, describing the presentation as resembling "pig slop" and implying that the preparer displayed a lack of care in assembling the meal.

Another customer who visited the location on April 29th, 2025, reported observing a concerning food handling practice. According to this review, a server was seen mixing a new batch of food with older food. The reviewer noted that while they were not intimately familiar with food service rules, this practice appeared "a little odd" and prompted them to find it potentially unsanitary or indicative of poor food management. This observation raises questions about the restaurant's adherence to proper food rotation and freshness standards.

Following this observation, the same customer proceeded to order and consume their meal. They reported becoming sick and vomiting after only four bites, subsequently experiencing "major indigestion" and feeling "horrible." Based on their experience, the reviewer speculated that the steak and shrimp they ordered might also have been mixed with older portions. This incident raises serious concerns about potential foodborne illness and the overall quality and safety of the food served at this location.

Adding to the negative feedback, the same customer also commented on the quality of the fountain soda, stating that it "didn't taste good." They further speculated that the syrup might have been turned down, presumably as a cost-saving measure. This suggests a potential compromise in the quality of even the beverages offered at this Panda Express location.

Based on these critical reviews, the customer experience at the Panda Express on New Center Point appears to be significantly negative for at least these two individuals. The concerns raised include not only the unappetizing presentation of the food but, more seriously, questionable food handling practices that may have led to illness. The negative comment about the soda quality further contributes to an overall unfavorable impression of this particular branch.

Information regarding the typical environment of a Panda Express restaurant suggests a fast-food setting with a service counter where customers place their orders and a casual dining area with tables and chairs for on-site consumption. The focus is generally on efficiency and providing a quick meal service. However, the provided reviews do not offer any specific insights into the ambiance or cleanliness of this particular location; the focus is primarily on the food and service aspects.

Similarly, details about specific services or unique features of this branch are not mentioned in the provided feedback. Panda Express generally offers takeout services in addition to dine-in options. Customers can typically select their entrees, sides, and appetizers from a displayed menu and have their meals assembled quickly. Online ordering and mobile applications are also common features of the Panda Express brand, providing convenience for customers. However, whether this specific location excels in any particular aspect beyond the standard Panda Express model cannot be determined from the given reviews.

Promotional information specific to the Panda Express at 2850 New Center Point is absent from the provided customer feedback. Panda Express as a chain frequently offers various promotions, new menu items, and seasonal deals, which are typically advertised in-store, on their website, or through their mobile app. Local branches may also have specific offers. To obtain information about any current promotions at this location, it would be advisable to contact the store directly.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 2850 New Center Point in Colorado Springs has received concerning feedback from recent customers. Issues raised include poor food presentation, questionable food handling practices that may have resulted in illness, and subpar quality of even the fountain soda. These negative experiences suggest potential problems with food quality, safety, and overall standards at this particular location. Potential customers may want to consider these recent reviews when making dining decisions. For information on current promotions or specific services offered, it is recommended to contact the store directly.

They just piled my food in a try that is made to separate the items I ordered. They put beef and broccoli at the bottom and piled Kung pao chicken on top. It was pig slop as the person whom prepared it saw fit to display it as so.

Went to this location on April 29th 2025. While I was there I watched the server mix new batch of food with old food. It seemed a little odd to me. I don't know food service rules that well but I just find that is odd. I thought nothing of it and I ordered my food. 4 bites into my meal it made me sick and throw up. I now have major indigestion and feel horrible. I'm assuming that the steak and shrimp I got was also mixed with old steak and shrimp. Not even the fountain soda tasted good. I can tell they have the syrup turn down probably to save money. Do yourself a favor stay healthy and do not eat at this location.

Went in for an order I placed in advance and had to wait an extra hour because they kept running out of an item while waiting for another item in my order. Not an issue, mistakes happen. Until the manager decided to make snide remarks to my wife after other guest took issue with her order. When we got our food it was cold and dry. A corporate email confirmed multiple complaints were made about his assumed racist behaviour and we were offered a free plate.... Thank you to everyone who stood up for my wife in my absence.

Staff was very nice however got steak, shrimp and chicken with rice and super greens and only got 4 pieces of broccoli barley any super greens and 2 pieces of shrimp? The person had called out low super greens but it seems that I was just given the little scraps. Just a little disappointing as I ordered shrimp as one of my entrees and no joke, got 2.
