About Panda Express

Panda Express, situated within the bustling Mid Rivers Mall at 1600 Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Missouri, offers a convenient option for local users seeking a quick and familiar taste of American-Chinese fast food. As a well-established chain within the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express typically provides a standardized menu of popular dishes designed for efficient service, catering to shoppers and mall visitors looking for a fast meal either on-site or for takeout.

Given its location within a shopping mall, the environment of this Panda Express is likely consistent with other food court eateries. Customers can generally expect a casual and functional space with tables and chairs for dining. The focus is primarily on quick turnover, serving shoppers looking for a brief respite and a meal before continuing their mall activities. While not designed for an extended dining experience, it offers a readily accessible option for those within the Mid Rivers Mall.

The services at this Panda Express location primarily involve counter service where customers can select their choice of entrees, sides, and appetizers from the displayed options. The menu typically includes a variety of well-known dishes such as Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Chow Mein, and fried rice, allowing for customizable meal combinations. Panda Express is designed for speed and efficiency, catering to individuals and families looking for a quick meal. Takeout service is also a standard offering, providing a convenient option for those who wish to enjoy their food elsewhere.

However, the recent customer reviews for this particular Panda Express location in Mid Rivers Mall paint a concerning picture regarding both food quality and service. One reviewer expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating that the "food sucked, service even worse." This individual described an unpleasant interaction with a staff member who appeared unwelcoming and impatient, particularly when serving older parents. The reviewer also noted issues with the food itself, describing the noodles as "dry and cut into pieces so small you couldn't pick them up" and the Orange Chicken as lacking sufficient sauce with mostly breading on the chicken pieces. Additionally, this customer mentioned the unavailability of cold bottled drinks and the unhygienic condition of the soda machine area. The experience was so negative that the reviewer declared their intention to patronize another establishment in the mall in the future.

Another review echoed the negative sentiment regarding food quality, describing it as "tasteless and dry" with "small" portions. Alarmingly, this reviewer also reported finding "a worm" in their broccoli, a severe food safety concern that understandably caused them to feel "grossed out." Adding to their negative experience, they noted the absence of a manager on-site, which they deemed unacceptable. This customer's dissatisfaction was profound, stating that even a refund would not be sufficient to rectify the experience.

These two recent reviews highlight significant issues concerning the food and service at this Panda Express location. The complaints range from poor food quality (dry noodles, mostly breading on chicken, tasteless dishes) to unacceptable food safety issues (finding a worm in the food) and unprofessional service (impatient and unwelcoming staff). The reported absence of a manager is also a serious concern, potentially indicating a lack of oversight and accountability.

Given these strongly negative recent reviews, local users considering Panda Express at the Mid Rivers Mall should exercise caution. The experiences described by these customers are serious and raise questions about the current standards of food preparation, quality control, and customer service at this particular location. While Panda Express as a chain generally aims for a certain level of consistency, it appears that this specific outlet may be falling short based on this recent feedback.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals specific to this Panda Express location within Mid Rivers Mall. Typically, chain restaurants like Panda Express may offer national promotions, but it would be advisable to check in-store or through their official website for any current deals. However, given the recent negative feedback concerning the fundamental aspects of food and service, any potential promotions might not outweigh the reported poor customer experiences.

In conclusion, while Panda Express at 1600 Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, MO, offers the convenience of a fast-food Chinese option within a shopping center, recent customer reviews indicate significant concerns regarding food quality, service, and even food safety. Local users should carefully consider this feedback before choosing to dine here. It might be prudent to look at more recent reviews from other platforms to get a broader understanding of the current situation or perhaps consider alternative dining options within the mall or the surrounding area to ensure a more satisfactory meal experience. To contact this location, you can call (636) 279-2007 or +1 636-279-2007, but be mindful of the recent negative reports when making your decision.

Food sucked, service even worse. The girl serving food looked like she wanted us gone immediately. Denied a sample, aggressively kept asking "AND?" And "is that ALL?" To my older parents. I understand having bad days but at least try a little.. the food was less than decent. The noodles were dry and cut into pieces so small you couldn't pick them up. The orange chicken had us questioning if they put the orange sauce on it and the pieces of the chicken were 99% breading. They had no cold bottle drinks and the soda machine is surrounded by wet dish towels. Napkins and cutley are behind the counter and they glare when you ask. My parents were both very disappointed as was I. Charley's is the only saving grace of this mall. Going there next time, they deserve my business.

Food was tasteless and dry. Portions are small. Top of all, there was a worm in my broccoli! Just noticed it after I was almost done with my food. I felt so grossed out. There was no manager in place, which is bad. There should always be a manager in. A refund is not even enough to fix this. Just gross.

NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. Horrible. We go to another PE every week with great service and food. Here it cost more and is half the size! I ordered and paid for 3 entrees but got the same amount of meat as my husband's 2 entrees. You can see from the fork they use the smallest boxes possible. While the food tasted good, it was a bit on the cold side.

Went through drive through because you can’t go in and was told fired rice would take around 6 extra minutes. We said ok, no problem. Got home and had white rice and noodles.
