About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 17055 Mercantile Blvd Unit 14 in Noblesville, Indiana, is a well-known chain categorized as a Chinese restaurant offering fast-food style Chinese-American cuisine. With contact numbers (317) 770-9684 and +1 317-770-9684, this Noblesville branch provides both dine-in and takeout services. Recent customer reviews offer insights into the current state of this particular location, highlighting both areas of concern and a few consistent aspects.

One customer shared a particularly negative experience during a Sunday evening visit at 5 pm. Their daughter went to the restaurant to place an order with specific preferences: a bowl with half white rice, half greens, and string bean chicken. However, the customer was informed that neither greens nor white rice was available at that time. This lack of availability for standard menu items during a seemingly regular dinner hour raises concerns about inventory management and preparedness. As a result, the customer had to opt for fried rice with the string bean chicken. Unfortunately, this dish was also disappointing, described as having old, soggy, and barely warm chicken with a disproportionately large amount of rice for the $9.30 price. The customer felt that the pre-measured scoops resulted in a meager portion of protein, essentially paying for mostly rice with a side of chicken. This experience suggests potential issues with food freshness, quality control, and portioning.

The same customer also reported a negative experience with another ordered dish: orange chicken with lo mein for their son. The lo mein was described as "not great," with half of it being crunchy and barely lukewarm. This indicates potential inconsistencies in the preparation and heating of different menu items, further impacting the overall dining experience. The fact that this was the customer's first visit since the end of 2023, and the issues encountered mirrored past experiences, suggests that some of these problems might be ongoing.

Another reviewer focused primarily on two specific menu items: the orange chicken and the rice. They noted that the rice quality was inconsistent, ranging from "perfect" to "so dry you can't eat it." This lack of consistency in a staple item like rice can significantly affect the overall satisfaction of a meal. On the other hand, this reviewer found the orange chicken to be "very good" but consistently "very spicy," even noting that the spiciness seemed to be increasing with each visit. This could be a concern for customers who are sensitive to spice levels, especially since the level appears to be unpredictable. However, this reviewer did mention that the people and atmosphere of the restaurant were "fine," suggesting that the service and ambiance were not major issues for them.

Based on these reviews, the environment of the Noblesville Panda Express appears to be generally acceptable, with one reviewer describing the "atmosphere" as "fine." However, there are no specific details provided about the cleanliness, decor, or overall ambiance to offer a comprehensive picture of the dining area.

The services offered include both dine-in and takeout. The negative feedback regarding food availability during dinner hours could impact the convenience of both services. The inconsistencies in food quality, such as the old and soggy chicken, the poorly prepared lo mein, and the hit-or-miss rice, raise concerns about the reliability of the food served regardless of whether it's for dine-in or takeout.

Key features that can be gleaned from these reviews are the availability of popular dishes like orange chicken, string bean chicken, and lo mein, as well as rice options (though availability and quality seem to be issues). The use of pre-measured scoops for portioning is also evident, which can lead to perceived imbalances in the ratio of protein to rice. The consistently increasing spiciness of the orange chicken, while a feature for some who enjoy it, is a point of concern for those sensitive to spice.

There is no promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users would need to check the Panda Express website or contact the store directly to inquire about any current promotions, discounts, or special offers.

For local users in Noblesville, Indiana, who are considering Panda Express at this location, it is important to be aware of the potential issues highlighted in recent reviews. The lack of availability of certain menu items, the inconsistencies in food quality (such as freshness, temperature, and texture), and the unpredictable spiciness of the orange chicken are factors to take into account. While one reviewer found the atmosphere and people to be fine, the primary concerns revolve around the food itself.

Potential customers might want to consider the time of their visit, as availability of certain items may vary. If specific dishes like white rice or greens are preferred, it might be wise to call ahead to confirm their availability. Additionally, those sensitive to spice should be aware that the orange chicken at this location has been reported as consistently and increasingly spicy. The experience of one customer receiving a bowl with a disproportionate amount of rice compared to the protein is also a point to consider regarding value for money.

In conclusion, the Panda Express in Noblesville, IN, at 17055 Mercantile Blvd Unit 14, has received recent feedback indicating potential issues with food availability, consistency in quality, and portioning. While the atmosphere and staff were reportedly acceptable, the concerns regarding the freshness and preparation of dishes like string bean chicken, lo mein, and rice, as well as the increasing spiciness of the orange chicken, should be noted by local users when making their dining decisions. It might be prudent to manage expectations and possibly inquire about the availability and preparation of specific dishes before ordering.

They never have what I would like to eat. Its a Sunday at 5pm! My daughter went to the restaurant to order the food. I wanted bowl- half white rice, half greens and chicken with string chicken. She called and told me they do not have greens or the white rice. So I got fried rice with the chicken. The string bean chicken old and soggy and just warm. Hardly any in the bowl. It was mostly just rice. I know they have the pre-measured scoops but really? $9.30 for just rice with a side of protein. My son wanted orange chicken and lo mein. The lo mein was not great half of it was crunchy and barely luke warm. This is the first time I've eaten here since the end of 2023. Guess it hasn't changed

The only issues I ever have is the orange chicken and rice. The rice is always hit or miss. It's perfect or it's so dry you can't eat it. But the orange chicken is very good, but very spicy. I don't like spicy and typically I can handle a little bit but it seems every time I visit it gets worse. Besides that the people and atmosphere is fine.

Nothing like driving 35 min after a long 14 hour day at work to enjoy the delicious orange chicken and waiting 20 min for my food to come home to half my food 😤 maybe if the girl behind the counter would quit making eyes at her little crush that walked in (serving him his drink to his table, didn’t know I was in a damn Olive Garden) and spent more time on the 4 different groups of people waiting 20 min for their food I would’ve got all my food!!! I even donated to Riley SMH 😤😤😤 nothing but rice and a child size portion of sesame chicken!!! So aggravating!!!!!!!!!

Food is always great here. Service is always great. Since it’s a fast food restaurant I don’t expect tables to be cleaned every time someone leaves but the table we sat at was very dirty. Other than that, it has always been a great experience.

Food was fast and tasty. I got the honey sesame chicken with fried rice. They're skimpy on the servings, not even a full scoop of the entree and for almost $9. I'll do Qdoba next time.
