About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known Chinese restaurant located at 615 McCallie Ave in Chattanooga, Tennessee (37403, USA). As a prominent chain within the Chinese restaurant platform category, Panda Express offers a fast-casual dining experience with a focus on popular American-Chinese dishes. While a phone number is not provided in the information, this location can be found at the specified address for dine-in or potential takeout and delivery services.

Based on recent online customer reviews, the experiences at this particular Panda Express location in Chattanooga appear to be negative, with significant concerns raised regarding food quality, order accuracy, and delivery service. These reviews suggest potential issues with the preparation and handling of food at this establishment.

One customer who received a delivery order at work reported a severely unsatisfactory experience. They stated that their teriyaki chicken was close to being undercooked, and their order was incomplete, missing three other orders, sauces, and even the fortune cookie. Furthermore, the teriyaki chicken itself was described as lacking flavor and teriyaki sauce, essentially being "chicken and rice with no flavor." This customer expressed significant disappointment, as it was their paid lunch which they were unable to eat, leading them to conclude that they were "done with this place." This review highlights serious problems with food preparation, order accuracy for delivery, and the overall quality of a signature dish.

Another customer who dined in also reported a negative experience with the food quality. They described the breading on the chicken as having "no color" and the chicken itself as "soggy." Additionally, the fried rice was described as "old." This reviewer also noted that the food was "barely warm" despite them sitting down to eat it immediately after ordering. This feedback points to potential issues with the freshness and proper cooking of food served at this location, raising concerns about food safety and overall dining experience.

Considering these two recent reviews, the overall impression of this Panda Express location at 615 McCallie Ave in Chattanooga is unfavorable. Both a delivery customer and a dine-in customer reported significant issues with the quality of the food, including undercooked chicken, flavorless dishes, soggy textures, and food that was not served at an appropriate temperature. The delivery customer also experienced a severely incomplete order. These consistent negative experiences suggest potential systemic problems with food preparation, quality control, and order fulfillment at this particular branch.

Regarding the environment of Panda Express, as a fast-casual chain, the typical setting is designed for efficiency and quick service. Restaurants usually feature a serving line where customers can see and select their dishes, along with a casual dining area with tables and chairs. The atmosphere is generally bright and functional, catering to individuals and families looking for a quick and convenient meal. However, the negative review from the dine-in customer focused solely on the food quality and did not provide any insight into the cleanliness or ambiance of the dining area itself. Therefore, based on the provided information, we cannot draw any conclusions about the environment of this specific location.

In terms of services, Panda Express primarily operates on a fast-casual model, offering both dine-in and takeout options. The first review explicitly mentions "delivery," indicating that this service is also available at this location, although the experience reported was poor. Customers typically order their food at a counter and can either eat it in the restaurant's dining area or take it to go. The issues with the delivery order suggest potential unreliability in this service aspect. To confirm the full range of services offered at this specific 615 McCallie Ave location, including online ordering options or partnerships with specific delivery platforms, local users may want to check the official Panda Express website or third-party delivery apps.

Features of Panda Express revolve around its menu of popular American-Chinese dishes, often characterized by their sweet and savory flavors. The orange chicken is one of their most well-known and frequently ordered items, although it was not mentioned in these specific negative reviews. Other popular dishes include teriyaki chicken (which was the subject of a negative review), various stir-fried entrees featuring beef, shrimp, and vegetables, as well as sides like fried rice (also negatively reviewed), chow mein, and mixed vegetables. The made-to-order aspect is somewhat different from a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant, as many dishes are prepared in larger batches and served from the food line. However, the ability to customize a plate with different entrees and sides offers some flexibility to customers. The negative reviews provided here, however, cast doubt on the quality and proper preparation of these standard menu items at this particular location.

As a national chain, Panda Express often has various promotional offers and deals. These can include family feasts, online ordering discounts, or limited-time offers on specific menu items. Local users interested in potential promotions at this Chattanooga location should check the official Panda Express website or app for any current deals. They might also find promotional information on third-party delivery platforms if they offer delivery from this location. However, given the recent negative feedback regarding food quality and service at this specific address, local users might prioritize these concerns over any potential promotions.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 615 McCallie Ave in Chattanooga, TN, has recently received negative feedback regarding the quality of its food and the reliability of its delivery service. Customers reported undercooked and flavorless chicken, soggy breading, old fried rice, and incomplete delivery orders. These issues raise concerns about the overall dining experience and the standards maintained at this particular branch. Local users should be aware of these recent negative reviews when considering this Panda Express location for dine-in or delivery. For the most up-to-date information on their menu, services, and any potential promotions, it is recommended to check the official Panda Express website or third-party delivery platforms. However, given the reported quality issues, it might be prudent to consider other dining options in the area.

We got delivery at work. My teriyaki chicken was a minute from being undercooked they forgot three orders the sauces and even the fortune cookie. My teriyaki chicken had no flavor and no teriyaki sauce so I guess it was chicken and rice with no flavor. So upset because this was my lunch I paid 13 dollars for and couldn't eat. I'm done with this place

No color on the breading, soggy chicken, old fried rice. Food was barely warm and I sat down with it immediately after ordering.

I would like to know why are you making everything so spicy. Some people don't like spicy foods. you had a mixture of spicy and non-spicy. now the orange chicken is so spicy, I can't even eat that. I only had two choices and that was Orange Chicken & Teriyaki chicken. now I have to eliminate panda express, as a choice, because you're only catering to people, who like spicy food. I am losing my favorite restaurant.

I normally eat here once a week because staff is friendly and the food is usually quite good but I ate there this morning and have never felt more sick in my life. The chicken wasn’t cooked and the breading was soggy. I am not happy with my experience

Every time I’m on campus there is like a 50/50 chance this place will be open. The noodles never fail to be dry.
