About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known chain in the Chinese fast-food category, with a location situated at 210 Malcolm Dr Unit #100, Westminster, MD 21157, USA. Panda Express offers a convenient option for individuals seeking quick-service Chinese cuisine. Typically found in various locations, including shopping centers and standalone establishments, Panda Express provides a menu featuring a selection of popular American Chinese dishes, often served in a cafeteria-style setting where customers can choose their entrees and sides to create a personalized meal. Services generally include carry out and dine in, with the possibility of delivery through third-party platforms depending on the location.

Panda Express is recognized for its fast-food approach to Chinese cuisine, offering a streamlined service model where customers can quickly select from a range of pre-prepared dishes. The menu typically includes signature entrees such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Chow Mein, along with various rice and noodle options and appetizers like spring rolls and cream cheese rangoon. Customers can usually choose to build their meals by selecting a plate or bowl option, which includes a certain number of entrees and sides. This model is designed for speed and convenience, catering to those looking for a quick and satisfying meal.

However, recent customer experiences at the Westminster location of Panda Express, as indicated by online reviews, present some concerns regarding order accuracy and food quality. One customer expressed disappointment after ordering a 1 Plate with white rice but receiving fried rice with vegetables upon arriving home. This error led to dissatisfaction, especially considering the customer felt the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time of their order. Such inaccuracies can detract from the overall customer experience, particularly for those relying on the convenience of fast food.

Another customer shared two negative experiences. In a previous visit, they reported finding a large black hair in their daughter's food. While they informed the staff without requesting any compensation, this incident raises concerns about food safety and hygiene practices. On a subsequent visit, this same customer encountered issues with the serving size and the willingness of the staff to provide a small amount of freshly prepared rice. After being served what they described as the "last little bit of a batch of fried rice" that was insufficient for a serving, they requested a small scoop of a new batch that had just been brought out. They were reportedly told that they would have to purchase a large container of the fresh rice, despite only wanting a small portion to complete their meal. This experience led the customer to state that they would not be eating at this location again, citing issues with both food quantity and customer service regarding a reasonable request.

These reviews suggest potential inconsistencies in order fulfillment, food quality, and customer service at this particular Panda Express location in Westminster. While Panda Express as a chain aims to provide a consistent and satisfactory fast-food experience, these individual accounts highlight areas where this location may be falling short for some customers. Potential patrons may want to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to visit this specific restaurant.

Information regarding the specific environment of this Panda Express location is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, Panda Express restaurants feature a brightly lit, casual fast-food setting with a counter for ordering and a designated area for dining in. The ambiance is generally functional and geared towards quick service rather than a leisurely dining experience. Given its location in Westminster, it is likely situated in a shopping center or a similar commercial area, offering convenience for shoppers and local residents.

The services offered at this Panda Express likely include carry out, allowing customers to take their food to go, and dine in, providing a space to eat their meal on the premises. As a fast-food chain, the service model is designed for efficiency, with customers typically ordering at a counter and receiving their food quickly. The possibility of delivery services may exist through partnerships with third-party delivery apps, but this is not explicitly mentioned in the provided information. Customers interested in delivery options should check with local delivery platforms or inquire directly with the restaurant.

Features of Panda Express as a chain include its standardized menu, quick service model, and focus on American Chinese cuisine. Signature dishes like Orange Chicken have become widely popular. However, the reviews for this specific location raise concerns that might detract from these general features, such as potential issues with order accuracy and consistent food quality. The incident involving the hair in the food is a significant concern regarding hygiene standards. The experience with the insufficient rice serving and the refusal to provide a small scoop of fresh rice also points to potential inflexibility in customer service.

Promotional information for this specific Panda Express location is not included in the provided reviews. Panda Express often has national promotions and limited-time offers, which may be advertised in-store, online, or through their mobile app. Local users interested in any deals or specials at the Westminster location should check their website, app, or inquire at the restaurant directly.

In conclusion, Panda Express in Westminster, MD, offers Chinese fast food with options for carry out and dine in. While the chain is generally known for its quick service and popular dishes, recent customer reviews for this location indicate potential issues with order accuracy, food quality, and customer service. One customer received the wrong rice with their order, and another reported finding a hair in their food and experiencing unsatisfactory service regarding a request for a small amount of fresh rice. These experiences suggest that while Panda Express is a convenient option for fast Chinese food, potential customers at this Westminster location should be aware of these recent reports. It may be prudent to double-check orders before leaving and to be mindful of potential inconsistencies in food preparation and service.

I brought my daughter her awhile ago because she loves Chinese food. We found a large black hair in her food and just let them know without asking for anything in return. Today I tried them again. This time I got a platter and was served the last little bit of a batch of fried rice that wasn't even enough for a serving so I asked for a small scoop of the new batch that was brought out and was told I would have to buy a large container full when all I wanted was a small scoop of the fresh rice. I won't be eating here again.

This location definitely ranks within my top three of all Panda Express locations ever visited. The staff was super nice, and the manger Peter was very professional. I appreciated him taking the time to say hello, and introducing himself. I also appreciated the time the staff took to label each order, I feel as all locations should be using this method.

Long line bc nobody was doing anything right preparing the food. One lady kept switching up the boxes and getting everything mixed up over and over again. They took the order of the person behind me before me and got them all the way checked out before even getting my food. Slow terrible and rude service.

It's bad. Orange chicken is mostly batter. Chow mein tastes weird. The beef and broccoli actually tastes alright but had barely any beef. The guy taking orders at the drive thru was unprofessional. Won't be back.
