About Panda Express
Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known American Chinese fast-food restaurant located at 2298 Madison St in Clarksville, Tennessee. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express offers a variety of familiar dishes for convenient takeout and drive-thru service. You can contact this Clarksville location at (931) 492-9668 or via their mobile number, +1 931-492-9668, for inquiries or to place an order.
Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at the Panda Express on Madison Street in Clarksville appear to be mixed, particularly concerning order accuracy and service efficiency, especially through the drive-thru and mobile order systems. One customer who used the drive-thru reported a significant discrepancy between their order and what they received. They ordered a plate with a half-and-half side of chow mein and entrees of orange chicken and Kung Pao chicken. However, they received a minimal amount of chow mein, which was mostly filled with cabbage and onions. More concerningly, their Kung Pao chicken contained primarily peanuts and vegetables with very little to no chicken.
This customer expressed disappointment with not being informed if certain dishes were running low, as they ended up paying $12.92 for what they felt was mostly vegetables. They strongly recommended that other customers consider going inside to place their orders to ensure accuracy, suggesting a lack of reliability with drive-thru orders at this location. This experience highlights potential issues with quality control and order fulfillment for drive-thru customers.
Another customer utilized the mobile order system for a pickup scheduled at 5:25 PM. Despite receiving a text message at 5:23 PM indicating that the order was ready, they arrived at 5:30 PM to find that their order had not even started being prepared. They did not leave the store with their food until almost 6:00 PM, noting that customers who ordered in-store received their food much more quickly. This suggests a potential disconnect between the mobile order system's readiness notifications and the actual preparation timeline in the kitchen.
Furthermore, the mobile order customer reported that their food was left sitting on the counter, implying it was getting cold while they waited for the missing entree to be completed. They also mentioned being asked their name multiple times by different staff members, suggesting a lack of coordination or memory regarding mobile orders. The customer felt that, despite the dinner rush, staff should be more attentive to mobile order statuses and communicate any delays or issues to the waiting customer proactively, rather than sending a "ready" notification prematurely.
Despite these negative aspects of their experience, the mobile order customer did acknowledge a slightly positive gesture, mentioning that they received a free drink for the significant wait. This indicates that while there are issues with efficiency and communication, the staff might attempt to compensate for these shortcomings in some instances.
The provided reviews do not offer much insight into the general environment or ambiance of the Panda Express restaurant on Madison Street, as both experiences primarily focused on the drive-thru and mobile order pickup. Therefore, it is difficult to objectively describe the cleanliness, decor, or overall atmosphere of the interior based on this feedback alone. Similarly, details about other services, such as dine-in availability (if any at this location), are not mentioned in these specific reviews.
Regarding features, Panda Express is generally known for its fast-food style service and a menu of popular American Chinese dishes like orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and chow mein. However, the reviews indicate potential inconsistencies in the preparation and availability of these items at this particular location. The issue with the Kung Pao chicken having minimal chicken and the chow mein being mostly vegetables suggests potential problems with ingredient management or portion control at the time of these orders.
Currently, no promotional information specific to the Panda Express on Madison Street in Clarksville is available within these reviews. Panda Express as a national chain often has ongoing promotions, which may be advertised in-store, on their website, or through their mobile app. Local users interested in any special offers or discounts should check these official channels or inquire directly with the store at (931) 492-9668 or +1 931-492-9668.
In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 2298 Madison St in Clarksville has received recent feedback highlighting significant issues with order accuracy in the drive-thru and considerable delays with mobile order pickups. Customers have reported receiving incorrect items, missing key ingredients, and experiencing poor communication regarding order readiness. While the staff may attempt to rectify issues in some cases, potential customers should be aware of these recent experiences. The reviews suggest that for better order accuracy, particularly, it might be advisable to place orders inside the restaurant rather than using the drive-thru. For the most reliable information on the menu, current promotions, and services, contacting the store directly or checking the official Panda Express resources is recommended.

Customer Reviews
I went to panda express and got a plate from drive thru. I ordered half and half for my side and entrees i ordered orange chicken and kung Pao. there is barely any chow mein. Plate with filled cabbage and onions that they put in the chow mein. And talking about kung pao chicken all i got is peanuts and some vegetables not any chicken. I do not understand why not just tell the customer that we are running out of the dish so that we don’t end up getting what u don’t have and pay for it. Please do Better Panda Express. I would recommend going inside and getting your food. You don’t know what you will get from Drive thru. I Paid $12.92 for bunch vegetables. WORST Experience!
Place a mobile order for pickup at 5:25, I Recieve a text at 5:23 telling me it’s ready, I arrive at 5:30 and they hadn’t even started making yet and I didn’t leave the store with my food until almost 6:00 while food for people who ordered in store was getting sent out quickly, my food was sitting on the counter getting cold, they didn’t tell me they had been waiting on one of my entrees until they handed it to me. I also had several people asking my name like they forgot, like I know it’s dinner rush but come on remember names and make sure to inform the customer that you are waiting on something and don’t send a message saying it’s ready when it’s not. They get an extra star for at least giving me a free drink for the wait
Had me pull up to wait, which is fine. Told me a 7 minute wait for the noodles....okay I'll wait. As I write this it's over 15 mins I'm about to go in there and have them reimburse my card. Why do places flat out loe? If it's gonna be 15-20 minutes tell people so they can go elsewhere,
I appreciate businesses and expansions. It is a very convenient location. Not a great drive thru design. Tried ordering thru their app, but it didn't work out. The family meal was listed for $5 less on the app. Ended up walking in to the restaurant. Got 2 kids meal instead. Very small portion size. Foods looked delicious, but was told the noodles were very dry and flavor less. Their sides were good. Would only go back if the girls are starving and request Panda Express.
Ordered the 2 entree plate. Super greens were out, so my plate got parked. I was told the young man that I paid would bring it out immediately. I waited 15 minutes and asked the young man if they lost my order. He didn't seem to recognize me. He found my plate sitting to the side near drive through in a to-go bag. My wife and i were eating in. It was pretty cold by that point. My dear wife wouldn't start eating without me. She's a keeper, but her food got cold as well. When I was near finished, the young man brought me a sugary desert in compensation. I accepted it despite being diabetic. It will probably be a while before I'm treated poorly there again.
