About Panda Express
Welcome to Panda Express, a Chinese Restaurant located at 112 Loyola Dr #100, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588, USA. As a well-known chain of Chinese fast-food restaurants, Panda Express in Myrtle Beach offers a convenient option for those seeking quick and readily available Asian-inspired cuisine. Catering to both dine-in and takeout customers, Panda Express aims to provide a fast-food experience with a variety of familiar Chinese-American dishes.
Based on the available customer reviews, the environment of Panda Express in Myrtle Beach appears to be generally clean. One reviewer specifically noted, "It was a clean environment." This suggests that the restaurant maintains a certain level of cleanliness, which is a positive aspect for customers choosing to dine in. However, another significant environmental concern was raised, with a reviewer stating, "The toilet was not usable," which is a notable negative aspect for the overall customer experience and the functionality of the establishment.
Panda Express primarily operates as a fast-food restaurant, offering quick service for both dine-in and takeout customers. Customers can visit the counter to select their dishes in a cafeteria-style setup. The phone number provided, (843) 215-0297 or +1 843-215-0297, suggests that takeout orders can also be placed over the phone for added convenience. One reviewer who enjoyed their first visit mentioned the "quick aspect of this restaurant," highlighting the efficiency typically associated with fast-food establishments. The customer service received mixed feedback, with one reviewer noting "good customer service," while another mentioned "no greeting when entering the door," indicating potential inconsistencies in the initial customer interaction.
The features of Panda Express are characteristic of a fast-food model, emphasizing speed and readily available options. However, customer reviews indicate potential issues with the freshness and availability of food. One reviewer expressed disappointment, stating, "There was very little food. It was all dried up." This suggests that at certain times, the food on display might not be freshly prepared, leading to a less desirable quality. This same reviewer also mentioned difficulty in deciding what to eat due to the appearance of the food after looking at it for a while, implying a lack of appealing options at the time of their visit. Interestingly, this reviewer did note that "only the lo mein and green bean chicken looked good," suggesting some dishes might be fresher or more appealing than others.
Another customer, during their first visit, also experienced issues with the food temperature, stating, "...unless the food had just been put out, it was not hot." While they acknowledged the "quick aspect" of the restaurant, the fact that their food was not adequately heated was a point of concern. They did mention that "The food still tasted good," indicating that the underlying flavors were satisfactory, but the temperature significantly impacted their overall experience. This customer also expressed being "a little let down with the price I paid for my food to be all different temperatures," highlighting a discrepancy between expectation and reality regarding the quality for the cost.
A proactive approach was suggested by the second reviewer, who stated, "Next time, I will try and plan to visit at a high volume time in hopes that more food will be freshly cooked." This implies an understanding that the freshness and temperature of the food might be better during peak hours when there is a higher turnover of dishes. This observation could be valuable for potential customers planning their visit.
Currently, the provided reviews do not contain any specific information about ongoing promotional offers or specials at this Panda Express location in Myrtle Beach. As a chain restaurant, Panda Express often has national or regional promotions, which may or may not be reflected in these localized reviews. Customers interested in potential discounts or special offers are advised to check the official Panda Express website or inquire directly at the store via phone.
In conclusion, Panda Express in Myrtle Beach, SC, offers a fast-food Chinese dining experience with both dine-in and takeout options. While the environment is noted as clean and the customer service received some positive feedback, there are concerns regarding the freshness, availability, and temperature of the food, particularly during potentially slower periods. Customers have reported issues such as dried-up food, limited options, and food that was not adequately hot. However, the underlying taste of the food was generally considered good by one reviewer, and certain dishes like the lo mein and green bean chicken were noted as looking appealing. It appears that the quality of the food might be dependent on the time of visit, with potentially fresher options available during peak hours. Potential customers should consider these factors and perhaps plan their visit accordingly to maximize the chances of enjoying freshly prepared and hot food. Checking for any national or local promotions directly with the store might also be beneficial.

There was very little food. It was all dried up. No greeting when entering the door! I really didn't know what to eat after looking at it for a while. It was a clean environment. The toilet was not usable. Only the lo mein and green bean chicken looked good.
Overall, I enjoyed my first time here, I think maybe we just came at the wrong time. I understand the quick aspect of this restaurant, but unless the food had just been put out, it was not hot. The food still tasted good, but there was just so much left to the imagination. I was just a little let down with the price I paid for my food to be all different temperatures. Next time, I will try and plan to visit at a high volume time in hopes that more food will be freshly cooked. The customer service was good.
Kind and friendly service, big portions, good flavors. Get the bigger plate meal. It's 3 meals and 1 side for $12. Their new flavor blazing bourbon Chicken is the BEST!!!! Kung Pao is good too
Many good tasting Chinese food dishes and sides. It's a clean place with a nice staff. This is a convenient location near other shopping that a person might need to do. They have a drive thru. There are tables outside set up in front of the restaurant to the left of the door.
So glad to find a much better alternative to eating healthy and avoiding fast food. The Super greens are great. With the options of grilled teriyaki chicken and beef and broccoli those are my staple. But when they added that firecracker steak and shrimp.... oh my. Well worth the $1.50 upcharge.
