About Panda Express

Panda Express is a well-known chain of Chinese fast-food restaurants, and one of its locations can be found at 6300 Kings Island Dr, Mason, OH 45040, USA. This particular Panda Express is situated within the vicinity of the Kings Island amusement park. For inquiries or to place orders, they can be reached at (513) 754-5217 or via mobile phone at +1 513-754-5217.

As a Chinese restaurant operating within a high-traffic area like an amusement park, several factors influence the dining experience. Based on recent customer reviews, it's important for local users to be aware of certain aspects regarding this specific Panda Express location.

One significant point raised by a customer is the perceived high cost of the food. The review explicitly states, "The price is high, obviously, because it is in an amusement park." This suggests that the pricing at this location may be higher compared to standalone Panda Express restaurants, likely due to the convenience and captive audience within the amusement park setting. For budget-conscious diners, this is a crucial consideration.

Furthermore, concerns have been expressed regarding the quality and variety of the food offered. One reviewer described the food as "horrible" and the offering as "extremely limited." This indicates that the menu selection at this location might be smaller than what is typically available at other Panda Express outlets. This limitation could impact the choices available to customers and may not cater to a wide range of preferences.

Another critical point of feedback relates to the prevalence of spicy options on the menu. The review mentions that "3/4 entries were listed as spicy which made it hard with kids." This suggests that families with young children or individuals sensitive to spice may find the available options limited. It's advisable for such customers to inquire about the specific spice levels of the dishes before ordering.

The preparation of certain dishes has also been a point of criticism. The reviewer noted that "Most entries was fried... but the fried rice wasn't 'stir fried' at all." This comment raises concerns about the authenticity and quality of the preparation methods used for some of the dishes. The expectation of "stir-fried" rice, a staple in Chinese cuisine, not being met could be disappointing for customers familiar with the standard preparation.

One particularly negative review stated, "Literally paid $20 for something that tastes like plain white rice. I hope you go out of business someday." While this is a strong and singular opinion, it highlights a severe dissatisfaction with at least one of the dishes ordered. The perception of paying a significant amount for a dish lacking flavor is a major concern for any dining experience.

Considering these recent reviews, local users looking for a Chinese fast-food option near Kings Island should be aware of the potential for higher prices, a limited menu with a focus on spicy and fried items, and possible concerns regarding food quality and preparation. While Panda Express is generally known for its quick service and familiar flavors, the specific context of being located within an amusement park seems to have influenced the customer experience at this particular branch.

It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences at a specific point in time. However, the consistency in the feedback regarding price, limited options, and food quality suggests that these might be recurring issues for some customers visiting this Panda Express location. Therefore, local users planning to eat here should manage their expectations accordingly.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 6300 Kings Island Dr, Mason, OH, offers Chinese fast food within the Kings Island amusement park area. Based on recent customer feedback, potential diners should anticipate higher prices relative to standalone locations, a possibly limited menu with a significant number of spicy and fried options, and reported issues with food quality and preparation. While convenience is a factor due to its location, customers seeking a wider variety of non-spicy dishes or higher food quality might consider alternative dining options available within or near the amusement park.

The price is high, obviously, because it is in an amusement park. Didn't have high expectations with the food quality, but the food was horrible and the offering was extremely limited. 3/4 entries were listed as spicy which made it hard with kids. Most entries was fried... but the fried rice wasn't "stir fried" at all. Will not do this again.

The ladies that gave us the food were super nice and gave large portions. The food it self was okay. The cafeteria could totally use a good cleaning. With lots of people there were little to no clean seats that were open . I mean there were seats avalibe you just couldn't sit at them due to being sticky, sauce covered and trash ridden.

Undercooked? This didn’t taste like Panda Express normally does. No trays To carry my food and counter was very messy. This is probably because they didn’t have trays for customers. Soda machine would only deliver water for everything I tried, but I didn’t try them all. The customer service from the young servers was good and kind, so no complaints there.
