About Panda Express

Located at 7645 Jolly Ln, Brooklyn Park, MN 55444, USA, Panda Express is a well-known fast-casual Chinese restaurant chain. You can reach them by phone at (763) 424-3915 or via mobile at +1 763-424-3915. This particular location offers the brand's familiar menu of American Chinese cuisine, aiming to provide quick and convenient meals, including delivery services.

Environment and Ambiance

As a fast-casual chain restaurant, the environment of Panda Express in Brooklyn Park is designed for efficiency and quick turnover, typical of establishments focused on speed and convenience. While specific details about the interior decor are not provided in the reviews, it's generally understood that Panda Express locations feature a bright, clean, and functional setting with counter service and usually a limited number of tables for dine-in. The primary interaction for customers often involves ordering at a counter and either taking their food to a table or picking up a delivery/take-out order. The emphasis is on streamlining the process to serve a high volume of customers quickly. The ambiance is generally lively, reflecting its position as a popular choice for quick meals. The customer reviews primarily focus on the food and delivery experience, indicating that the physical environment is secondary to the speed and convenience it offers.

Service Experience

The service at Panda Express in Brooklyn Park, particularly concerning order accuracy and consistency, receives mixed feedback. On the positive side, delivery orders through the mobile app are noted to be "fairly quick," arriving in "less than 30 mins," which is a significant convenience for customers. However, a notable concern arises regarding order accuracy and communication. One customer reported that their "bigger plate" order was wrong on two occasions, specifically missing entrees. While the restaurant did replace the incorrect order, it required the customer to drive for pickup, which "beats the logic for delivery." This highlights a potential inconsistency in order fulfillment, which can be frustrating for patrons relying on correct and convenient service. The perceived "mean" approach to serving sizes by staff, particularly for "bigger plate" orders, also points to an area where customer expectations might not always be met, leading to dissatisfaction. This suggests that while the front-line service might be fast, attention to detail in order assembly and portion control can be inconsistent, impacting the overall customer service experience for some.

Features and Menu Highlights

Panda Express is renowned for its signature American Chinese dishes, with **Orange Chicken** being arguably its most famous offering. While specific dishes beyond general "entries" and "chow mein" are not mentioned in these particular reviews, the chain's menu typically includes other popular items like Beijing Beef, Brocccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and various fried rice and chow mein options as bases. The food quality at this Brooklyn Park location is generally described as "pretty good" by one reviewer, suggesting that the taste and preparation meet expectations for fast-casual Chinese food. However, a significant feature that generated negative feedback is the portion sizing, particularly for the "bigger plate." One customer explicitly stated that the "bigger plate isn’t big. It’s just like the regular order" and expressed disappointment, contrasting it with another Panda Express location where a "bigger plate" provided enough food for "2 days for my lunch." This inconsistency in portion control, especially for what is advertised as a larger serving, is a notable feature that impacts customer perception of value. The ability to order through a mobile app for delivery is a convenient feature for customers seeking ease and speed in their dining experience.

Promotional Information and Value Proposition

Panda Express primarily promotes itself as a convenient and quick option for American Chinese fast food. Its value proposition centers around speed, accessibility (through multiple locations and delivery apps), and generally affordable pricing for a quick meal. The "bigger plate" is implicitly positioned as a value-for-money option offering more food, although, as noted, this promise of a "bigger" portion might not always be consistently delivered at this specific Brooklyn Park location. The mobile app for ordering and delivery is a key promotional feature, emphasizing ease and convenience for the modern consumer. While specific daily deals or coupons are not mentioned in the provided reviews, Panda Express, as a chain, frequently offers various promotions to encourage repeat business. However, the inconsistent portioning and order accuracy noted by customers at this location could undermine its value proposition, particularly for those expecting generous servings from a "bigger plate." The cost of ordering, such as the total for a "bigger plate" isn't explicitly stated but the complaints about portion sizes despite the "bigger plate" label suggest that the value perception is negatively impacted when the quantity doesn't match the expectation set by the product name. Therefore, while convenient and generally good in taste, the value offered by this specific location can be inconsistent, particularly for larger orders.

Ordered delivery through the mobile app and it came fairly quick in less than 30 mins. The quality of the food is pretty good at this location although on my bigger plate, the rice was a bit skimped.

I have ordered twice here, the bigger plate. They got my order wrong. They only had chow mein, none of the other 3 entries. They replaced it but I had to drive to pick up which beats the logic for delivery. And their bigger plate isn’t big. It’s just like the regular order. A bigger plate should have servings for at least 2 people. I’ve ordered at the one in Roseville close to my job and I ate for 2days for my lunch. Let’s say I will not be ordering here anymore. They’re mean with their servings!

Jackie and Jair helped us, we were astounded by their kindness and attention to detail. Jair even asked if I wanted more veggies or chicken in my entree when he was scooping it. Their level of care was refreshing and I hope the manager appreciates them 💕 the food was fresh and delicious even at 8pm. The restaurant was clean and taken care of, I’m very impressed!

Ordered 3 plates and basically got 1 and a half….also asked for EXTRA teriyaki sauce for my TERIYAKI chicken and I got none. This is ridiculous, these are not even full portions and on top of that the food was cold and chicken tasted like it’s been sitting out all day, Please do better.

I always get treated like a friend anytime i go in, the staff is definitely hard working and seem to care about their job, food is always good, usually never a line, and if there is, they're very efficient about getting customers in and out in a timely matter while still making sure you got what you ordered, plus Amaya is just dopeee, go get y'all some Beijing beef!!!! 😂✌🏾♥️🐼
