About Panda Express

Panda Express, situated within the Memorial Student Center at 275 Joe Routt Blvd Ste L319 Bldg 454 on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas, offers a convenient option for students, faculty, and visitors seeking familiar American Chinese fast food. As a part of a well-known national chain within the Chinese Restaurant category, this location caters to the university community with its quick service and late operating hours compared to campus dining halls.

One notable aspect of this Panda Express location, as highlighted by customer reviews, is the speed of service, particularly during off-peak hours. One reviewer specifically mentioned the "very fast" service and the ability to get their order in "no time." This suggests that when the restaurant is not experiencing high traffic, customers can expect a quick and efficient transaction, making it a suitable option for those with limited time.

However, it is also important to note that this Panda Express location, likely due to its placement within a busy student center, experiences significant rushes during typical lunch and dinner times. One reviewer explicitly advises being prepared to stand in line during these peak hours. This indicates that while the service can be fast during less busy periods, customers should anticipate potential wait times if visiting during popular meal times on campus. The same reviewer suggests that avoiding these busy times can result in a much quicker experience, with an estimated "in and out" time of 10 minutes, or even 5 minutes for takeout. This information is valuable for local users, particularly students and staff at Texas A&M, in planning their visits to minimize wait times.

A specific point of feedback from one customer was the apparent lack of plastic knives available at this location. This is a detail that might be relevant for individuals planning to take their food to go and consume it elsewhere, as it could impact their ability to eat certain dishes conveniently. While this seems to be a minor inconvenience, it is a specific piece of information provided by a customer.

A significant advantage of this Panda Express location, especially for the university community, is its extended operating hours compared to the traditional dining halls on campus. One reviewer specifically appreciated that this Panda Express stays open later, providing a food option when other campus dining facilities might be closed. This late-night availability can be particularly beneficial for students with late classes, study sessions, or those simply looking for a meal outside of typical dining hall hours.

The reviews provided do not offer much insight into the environment or ambiance of this particular Panda Express within the Memorial Student Center. As it is located within a student hub, the atmosphere is likely consistent with a busy food court setting, geared towards quick and efficient service rather than a leisurely dining experience. Customers should likely expect a functional and convenient space for grabbing a meal rather than a more traditional restaurant environment.

Similarly, detailed information about the services offered, beyond the counter service for dine-in and takeout, is not available in these brief reviews. It can be generally assumed that standard Panda Express services are offered, such as the ability to customize plate combinations and order from their regular menu. However, specific services like online ordering or delivery options for this campus location are not mentioned.

The limited review information also does not include any details about specific features of this location that might differentiate it from other Panda Express restaurants, beyond its convenient location within the Memorial Student Center and its late operating hours relative to dining halls. There is no mention of unique menu items or services specific to this branch.

Finally, the provided reviews do not contain any information about current promotional offers or discounts that might be available at this Panda Express location on the Texas A&M campus. Students and other local users should check for any advertised promotions in-store or through the university's communication channels.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located within the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University in College Station offers fast service during off-peak hours and the convenience of late operating hours compared to campus dining halls, making it a valuable option for the university community. However, customers should be prepared for potential lines during lunch and dinner rushes. A minor point to note is the reported lack of plastic knives. Overall, this location serves as a quick and accessible spot for those craving familiar Panda Express dishes while on campus, particularly outside of traditional dining hours.

Why don't y'all have plastic knives? Also, be prepared to stand in line during lunch/dinner rush. Avoid the busy times and you're in and out in 10 minutes. 5 minutes if you're taking it home. After 7:30pm the lines are short or non-existent. I like that they're open later than the dining halls.

Panda Express at the MSC Tamu is neat and clean and the food when it is hot out of the wok is yummy. Black pepper chicken and orange chicken and sweet fire pineapple chicken are the best. The prices have increased recently and it has become difficult to get an affordable plate. Regular plate is now 9 dollars. Also, the food finishes by 5 pm and they close at 6 . The timings make it hard to grab a hot meal for dinner. But the food is nice . AND they need to provide more signs or lights pointing to the store as it is located in the corner and hard to spot if it is open or not.

The staff is lazy, rude, and dishonest. If I could give zero stars, I would. I drive for a delivery service and was set to pick up an order from this location. I received the order at 9.11 and was there within 10 mins. When I arrived, the employees told me they could not fill the order because they claimed to be closed. Online it is clearly posted that they close at 10 PM and yet they refused my customer's order that was made nearly an hour before closing, and made no attempt to fix the situation. Not only did my customer not get their food, but I wasted my time and gas, and now have had my ratings drop because of someone else's negligence. Poorest customer service ever!
