About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 9999 Holman Rd NW in Seattle, Washington, is part of a well-known chain of Chinese fast-food restaurants across the United States. As a Chinese restaurant in the fast-food category, Panda Express offers a variety of familiar dishes, typically served in a cafeteria-style setting where customers can choose their entrees, sides, and appetizers.

Based on the limited recent customer feedback available for this specific Seattle location, there appear to be contrasting experiences. One customer expressed a highly positive view, stating that this particular branch stands out compared to other Panda Express locations in areas such as Lake City or Edmonds. They specifically praised this Holman Road location for actually filling the containers with food, a point of comparison where other branches reportedly fall short. Furthermore, this reviewer noted that the food at this location is consistently fresh and "perfectly made," indicating a higher standard of food quality and preparation compared to their experiences elsewhere. Having visited this Holman Road Panda Express multiple times (7-10 times), they clearly have a positive and consistent experience, even resorting to other locations only "out of desperation" and finding them not worthwhile. This strongly suggests that this particular Panda Express on Holman Road might be considered a preferred location for some customers seeking reliable quality and portion sizes within the chain.

However, another customer's experience was significantly less favorable. This review detailed issues with the service, reporting being ignored while standing in line, only to have a customer who arrived later served first. While the reviewer did eventually receive help after speaking up, they expressed dissatisfaction with the portion sizes, particularly for "chicken" dishes, which allegedly contained only three to five small pieces of chicken. This perception of meager protein portions led the reviewer to speculate that this could be a reason for slow service. They further described the workers as "dumb incompetent," indicating a highly negative interaction with the staff and overall service.

These two reviews present a stark contrast in customer experiences at the same Panda Express location. One highlights efficient service (at least for a takeout order), fresh and well-made food, and satisfactory portion sizes, especially when compared to other branches. The other describes poor and disrespectful service and unacceptably small portions of protein in the dishes.

Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of the environment and services at this Panda Express location without more information. Typically, Panda Express restaurants feature a brightly lit, casual dining area where customers can eat their meals after ordering at the counter. The service model is generally quick and self-serve for beverages and condiments. However, the negative review points to potential issues with staff attentiveness and order handling, which could impact the overall environment and service experience for some customers.

In terms of features, Panda Express is known for its popular dishes such as Orange Chicken, Chow Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, and various other American-Chinese staples. A key feature of the chain is the ability to see the food being prepared in the open kitchen and to customize your plate or bowl with different combinations of entrees and sides. The positive review suggests that this location executes these standard menu items well, with fresh ingredients and proper preparation, at least in their experience. The negative review, however, casts doubt on the consistency of ingredient portions within these dishes.

As a large national chain, Panda Express often has promotional offers, which can vary by location and time. These might include limited-time menu items, meal deals, or discounts. However, neither of the provided reviews mentions any specific promotions at this Holman Road location. Therefore, local users would need to check in-store or on the Panda Express website or app for any current promotional offers available at this specific branch.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 9999 Holman Rd NW in Seattle has received mixed recent feedback. One customer considers it the best Panda Express location they have experienced, praising the filled containers and fresh, well-made food. In stark contrast, another customer reported being ignored during service and receiving dishes with very small amounts of chicken, along with a negative perception of the staff. These conflicting experiences suggest a potential inconsistency in service and food preparation or portioning at this location. Local users considering this Panda Express might find it beneficial to weigh these recent experiences and perhaps consider the time of day or specific dishes they are interested in based on these limited reviews. Without more information, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment and services beyond these individual accounts.

It is important for potential customers to be aware of these differing opinions. If consistent and generous portions of fresh food are a priority, this location might be worth a try based on one reviewer's experience. However, the reported issues with service attentiveness and protein portion sizes in another review should also be taken into consideration. As with any restaurant, individual experiences can vary.

They actually fill the containers (compare to Lake City or Edmonds location branches.) The food is always fresh and perfectly made. We been here 7-10 times. And other panda locations 3 times out of desperation, not worth it. This location is the best.

Got lunch here today. Stood in line to be ignored. Then some lady comes up behind me and she's served right away.... So I said something about it. I'm helped but look at these servings. I got "chicken" dishes with three-five bits of chicken. No wonder this place is slow. Dumb incompetent workers as well!

The food is not cooked well at this location. Just skip the temptation until next time. The noodles were very different than other spots or Californian Pandas. The place looked dirty and the workers looked stressed in the tiny spot. Probably has to do with bad management. PANDA has some questionable and unethical business practices. I say skip!!

Ordered the chow mein noodles through uber eats and jot only were the portion sizes less than when you go in store and order, the chow mein was also 95% cabbage and like maybe 5% noodles with hardly any other veggies in there. Will not be ordering from here again

Here’s the potion sized Panda Express gives out now…. Not even a half scoop. If this was delivery I would be suspicious that the driver ate half my food first….. another customer who won’t be returning many other Chinese options in Seattle.
