About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a Chinese restaurant located within the Food Court at Bldg 1231 on Holcomb Blvd, Camp Lejeune, NC. Situated to serve the military community and visitors at this Marine Corps base, Panda Express offers a familiar range of American Chinese cuisine. You can reach this location by calling (910) 451-8901 or their mobile number +1 910-451-8901 for any inquiries.

Based on recent customer feedback, the experience at this particular Panda Express location appears to have some areas of concern. One review highlights a significant issue with a menu item, reporting a serving of Broccoli Beef that was notably "without the beef." This indicates a potential lack of attention to detail in food preparation, where a key ingredient was missing from the dish. Such an oversight can be disappointing for customers expecting a specific menu item.

A more serious concern is raised in another review regarding food sanitation and employee awareness. This customer recounts an incident where the employee serving their food had their thumb in the food itself. The reviewer expressed understandable displeasure at this lack of hygiene, emphasizing that this was not an added ingredient they had requested. This type of incident points to a potential need for improved training and adherence to food safety protocols among the staff at this location.

Beyond the food quality and handling, another customer review focuses on the dining environment, specifically the seating arrangements within the food court. This reviewer notes a practice of closing off seating areas during dinner time for cleaning. As a result, all patrons are forced to congregate in a smaller section, leading to overcrowding and, in their last experience, a complete lack of available seating. The reviewer questions the logic of a food court restricting seating during peak dinner hours, as it significantly impacts the dining experience for customers who wish to eat their meals on-site. This suggests a potential issue with the management of the shared food court space or Panda Express's influence on these policies.

Considering these reviews, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive positive introduction to the environment, services, or features of this Panda Express location. The feedback points to potential inconsistencies in food preparation, significant lapses in food sanitation practices by at least one employee, and problematic seating arrangements during busy periods due to food court policies or cleaning schedules.

In terms of services, Panda Express generally operates on a quick-service model, where customers order at a counter and receive their food to eat in a common dining area or take away. However, the reported issues with food content and sanitation raise concerns about the quality and care taken in their service. The seating problem further detracts from the overall dining experience for those who choose to eat their meals at the food court.

Features of Panda Express typically include a standard menu of popular American Chinese dishes, such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and various noodle and rice options. They often offer combo meals that include an entree, a side, and a drink, providing a convenient and relatively affordable meal option. However, the reported absence of beef in a Broccoli Beef dish suggests that even these standard offerings may not always be prepared correctly at this location.

Promotional information specific to this Camp Lejeune Panda Express location is not provided in the given text. Panda Express as a chain frequently offers various promotions and new menu items, but whether these are consistently available or actively promoted at this particular site is unknown based on the current information.

In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for the Panda Express located in the Food Court at Camp Lejeune, NC, raise several concerns. These include issues with the accurate preparation of menu items (Broccoli Beef without beef), worrying accounts of unsanitary food handling by employees (thumb in food), and significant inconvenience due to the closure of seating areas during dinner time in the food court. These factors collectively suggest that the dining experience at this location may be inconsistent and potentially unsatisfactory for some customers. Local users at Camp Lejeune seeking a reliable and pleasant dining experience might want to consider these recent reviews when deciding whether to patronize this particular Panda Express location.

Given the nature of the reported issues, especially those concerning food sanitation and proper preparation, it would be prudent for potential customers to be aware of these experiences. While Panda Express is a well-known chain, the quality of service and adherence to standards can vary by location. The feedback suggests that this particular outlet within the Camp Lejeune Food Court may have areas needing improvement to ensure customer satisfaction and food safety. It might be beneficial to seek more recent reviews or consider other dining options available on the base or in the surrounding area to make an informed decision.

1) Brocoli Beef without the beef. 2) Some people just have no sense of sanitation or awareness. The employee who served my food had her thumb in my food. I'm sure I didn't ask her to add an extra flavor.

My review is mostly for the seating..They start closing seating areas during dinner time to clean up and everyone has to be bunched up in a small section to eat, and last time I was there no place to sit..What kind of a food court closes off seating at dinner?

I was at work on New Years eve and my family got my usually favorite honey walnut shrimp and dropped it off and unfortunately when I got a chance to eat it I realized they didn't put any glaze on the fried shrimp and when I called the manager argued with me that the shrimp was done correctly when she didn't even see it so in order to get it rectified I had to hold the food and drive all the way back over there the next day. The manager on duty then was different and as soon as she saw the shrimp she said there is obviously no glaze on it and apologized but it was disappointing and inconvenient! As a service manager, I would have taken a name and allowed my customer to come in at their convenience but I guess everyone doesn't hold customer service to a high standard.

Rarely do the food choices ever change. Orange chicken is the name of the game there. The line is always long though it gets through pretty fast. They only have one sized gigantic cups. The worst part is the food has just massive amounts of vegetables in the dishes like chow mein and broccoli beef. I'm surprised this place is still getting so many costumers
