About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 6496 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45247, USA, is a new addition to the Chinese Restaurant category in the Dent area. As part of a well-established national fast-food chain, this location aims to provide the familiar Panda Express menu and service to the local community. Based on the limited initial customer reviews available online, the experiences at this new establishment present a mixed picture, highlighting both positive aspects of customer service and a significant concern regarding food safety.

One of the initial reviews praised the experience, particularly noting a warm welcome despite arriving right before closing time. The customer appreciated the offer to prepare fresh food upon request. Specific staff members, Isabella and the manager Owen, were commended for their cordiality and attentiveness. The reviewer, identifying this as a brand new establishment on Harrison Avenue in Dent, felt that the place was "getting it right" and expressed appreciation for the staff's efforts. This positive feedback suggests that the initial customer service at this new Panda Express location is a strong point, with staff members making an effort to provide a welcoming and accommodating experience, even during the less busy closing hours.

However, another customer reported a significant and concerning issue with their takeout order. After plating their food, the reviewer's husband discovered a "big piece of plastic" in his lo mein. A photo was provided as evidence, showing the plastic on a fork. This finding raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and care taken during food preparation at this location. The customer stated that this incident completely ruined their husband's appetite and left them feeling "very disappointed." This negative experience underscores the critical importance of food safety and the need for stringent quality control measures in any food service establishment.

Given these two contrasting early reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the typical environment and services at this new Panda Express location. As a newly opened branch of a national chain, the environment is likely to reflect the brand's standard design, aiming for a clean, efficient, and casual fast-food setting. The focus would be on quick service for both dine-in and takeout customers.

The services offered would include ordering at the counter, food preparation according to the Panda Express menu, and options for eating in the restaurant or taking food to go. The positive review mentioned the willingness to prepare fresh food, suggesting a degree of flexibility in service, especially when requested. However, the incident with the plastic in the food indicates a potential lapse in food preparation protocols that needs to be addressed to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

Features of Panda Express generally include a consistent menu of American-Chinese dishes, with popular items like orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and various noodle and rice dishes. This new location would likely offer the same standard menu. The positive initial review highlights friendly and attentive staff as a potential feature of this specific branch. However, the food safety incident points to a critical area needing improvement to ensure the reliability and quality of their offerings.

As a new establishment, it is unclear if there are any specific grand opening promotions or ongoing offers at this Panda Express location on Harrison Avenue. Typically, Panda Express as a chain does run promotions, and it would be advisable for local users to check the official Panda Express website or contact the store directly at (513) 993-0699 or +1 513-993-0699 to inquire about any current special deals or introductory offers for this new branch.

For local users in the Dent area of Cincinnati, OH, considering a visit to this new Panda Express on Harrison Avenue, it is important to be aware of the very recent and contrasting customer experiences. The positive review suggests a welcoming atmosphere and accommodating staff, which are promising for a new establishment. However, the serious report of a foreign object found in the food is a significant concern that potential customers should consider. While the positive interaction indicates good intentions and customer service, the food safety issue highlights a critical need for improvement in kitchen procedures and food preparation. As this is a new location, it is possible that they are still working out operational kinks. Local users might want to proceed with caution and perhaps monitor further reviews to see if food quality and safety issues are addressed.

In conclusion, the new Panda Express at 6496 Harrison Ave in Cincinnati, OH, has received initial feedback that includes both high praise for its friendly and accommodating staff and a significant concern regarding food safety due to the discovery of plastic in a takeout order. As a brand new establishment, it may still be in the process of refining its operations. Local users considering this location should be aware of these early experiences and may want to monitor future reviews for any trends in customer feedback regarding both service and food quality. Contacting the store directly for information on their menu and any opening promotions might also be helpful.

I did something I try not to do - go into a restaurant right before they close. I was met with a warm hello & an offer to make me whatever I wanted fresh. Isabella was especially cordial and the manager, Owen, was attentive and helpful as he finished some end of day paperwork while still helping out on the front line. For a brand new establishment on Harrison Avenue in Dent, this place is getting it right. Please let the staff know that I appreciate their efforts.

Went in and got take out for dinner. Plated up our food and as my husband took a bite of his lomein there was a big piece of plastic (clock on photo to see it on the fork) that he pulled out of his mouth. Staff needs to be more thorough and careful when prepping food. Totally lost his appetite and very disappointed

New clean restaurant. The food was good and hot. I arrived an hour before closing and the selection was slim to say the least.

Our pickup order was ready about 12 minutes after the requested time, but they were very busy so I'll forgive it. Ordering online was easy. The food was good: orange chicken, kung Pao chicken, egg rolls, Rangoon. When picking up, the screen to the right of the counter shows your place in the queue.

For a parking lot that was barely populated and a drive through that just had a single car ahead of me, I wouldn’t have expected 30 min from when I got there to the time I got my food. I can only guess the car in front of me was waiting in the same way for 10 min, then once I was next I sat for maybe 5 minutes before I was addressed and then another 5 to order. After paying I was asked to pull up and wait 7 minutes for one of my aides to finish cooking, which I do understand happens…another 10 minutes and I was brought my food. Unless the staff is severely undermanned it is ridiculous that it took this long from start to finish when they had so few customers at that.
