About Panda Express
Panda Express, situated at 4300 Glumack Dr, Minneapolis, MN 55450, USA, provides a convenient and accessible option for travelers seeking Chinese cuisine within the Minneapolis Airport. As a well-known "Chinese Restaurant" in the fast-food category, Panda Express focuses on delivering familiar and popular American Chinese dishes with an emphasis on speed and efficiency, catering particularly to the time-sensitive needs of airport patrons.
Based on the available customer reviews, Panda Express at this location is receiving positive feedback regarding both the quality of its food and the friendliness of its staff. One customer specifically highlighted the "incredibly delicious" orange chicken and fried noodles they enjoyed before their flight, expressing a strong intention to return. This positive experience suggests that Panda Express maintains a standard of taste and quality that resonates with travelers looking for a satisfying meal.
Another significant aspect noted by a reviewer is the reasonable pricing, especially in the context of often inflated airport prices. The comment "It was such a cheap price!! Everything is way tooooooo expensive in airport. But the panda has quite reasonable price with lots of portion" underscores the value proposition offered by Panda Express. For travelers conscious of their spending while at the airport, Panda Express appears to be a welcome alternative, providing a substantial amount of food for a price considered fair within the airport environment. The enthusiastic recommendation to "give it a try" for those seeking reasonably priced food further reinforces this point.
The primary feature of Panda Express, as a fast-food establishment, is its speed of service. Located within a busy airport terminal, the restaurant is likely designed to efficiently serve customers with limited time before their flights. The positive mention of friendly staff adds to the overall customer experience, suggesting that despite the fast-paced environment, the service remains welcoming and helpful.
While the reviews specifically mention the deliciousness of the orange chicken and fried noodles, Panda Express is known for a broader menu of American Chinese favorites. These typically include a variety of wok-tossed entrees, such as Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, and more, often served with a choice of sides like fried rice, chow mein, and various vegetable options. The focus is on providing familiar flavors in a quick and convenient format.
Given its airport location, the environment of this Panda Express is likely geared towards functionality and efficiency. Airport food courts and restaurants prioritize quick service and ease of access for travelers. While specific details about the ambiance are not provided in the reviews, customers can generally expect a clean and well-organized space designed for quick meal consumption, either to be eaten at the premises or taken away to the gate.
The services offered by Panda Express typically include order-at-the-counter service, with food prepared and served quickly, often in a buffet-style display where customers can see the available options. Takeout is undoubtedly a significant aspect of their service, catering to travelers who wish to eat at their gate or on their flight. While delivery is not typically associated with airport locations due to security and logistical constraints, the primary services revolve around efficient on-site ordering and takeaway.
Promotional information specific to this Minneapolis Airport location is not available in the provided reviews. However, Panda Express as a chain often has national or regional promotions, which might occasionally be available at airport locations as well. These could include limited-time offers on specific dishes, combo meal deals, or seasonal specials. Local users traveling through Minneapolis Airport might want to check for any in-store promotions or on the Panda Express website or app for potential deals.
For local users who may be flying out of Minneapolis or perhaps meeting someone at the airport, Panda Express offers a reliable option for a quick and reasonably priced meal. The generous portion sizes, as implied by the "lots of portion" comment, further enhance the value for money.
In conclusion, Panda Express at Minneapolis Airport stands out as a Chinese fast-food restaurant that provides delicious and reasonably priced options for travelers. The positive feedback on the quality of dishes like orange chicken and fried noodles, coupled with the friendly service and generous portions, makes it a recommended choice for those seeking a convenient and affordable meal before their flight. Customer Reviews
I stopped by Panda Express right before my flight to grab some orange chicken and fried noodles. It was incredibly delicious, and the staff were super friendly. I’m definitely coming back!
It was such a cheap price!! Everything is way tooooooo expensive in airport. But the panda has quite reasonable price with lots of portion. If u r looking for foods with reasonable price, give it a try 👍👍
The orange chicken at MSP’s Panda Express was actually one of the better ones I’ve had. I’m not sure why reviews are so low but I guess it depends on who’s working? The staff were super nice today on my way back to Madison WI after the Holidays. The orange chicken had the right amount of vinegary/orangey sauce. Yummmm! I just got a la carte, medium. Get your orange chicken on!
The food is fine if you go in with realistic expectations. It's fast food style, Americanized Chinese. It's not authentic but honestly, it doesn't taste that bad. I haven't had panda express in years and I got the orange chicken because it's famous. The breading was getting a little soft but the sauce was still quite good. Sweet but not cloying with the tartness coming through. I can see why it's famous. For airport Chinese food, panda express is reliable and not half bad.
I'm not sure why my orange chicken tasted only of vinegar, or my noodles were starchy and undercooked. But I am sure that I feel regret, and will never eat panda Express again. First and last time. Adding review to indicate food caused indigestion, also they use a large number of plastic bowls a day., with such a high throughput, their carbon footprint is outrageous
