About Panda Express

Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant located at 2521 Flower Mound Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028, USA. They can be contacted at (972) 539-8976 or +1 972-539-8976.

Recent customer reviews for the Panda Express in Flower Mound indicate significant issues with order accuracy and customer service. One customer recounted a distressing experience where a lunch order for their son was missing the main item, orange chicken, leaving an empty space in the box. Upon returning to the store to seek a resolution, the manager, Amber, reportedly refused to offer a full refund, insisting on a partial refund instead. This interaction led the customer to contact corporate customer care. The customer service representative from corporate, Latrice P., is mentioned as having handled the situation professionally, offering a full refund and additional compensation.

The customer who experienced the missing item expressed disappointment with the manager's handling of the situation, suggesting that better management and training are needed at this location.

Another reviewer reported multiple negative experiences, stating that there is only a "1/10 chance" of receiving hot food. They also noted that online orders from this location consistently lack requested sauces. This customer described the location as an "absolute joke" and, after multiple attempts, has given up on ordering from this store, recommending other Panda Express locations instead. They also mentioned a long wait time in the lobby despite it being cleared out and criticized the poor customer service, noting a lack of acknowledgement from staff despite a 10-minute wait. This reviewer expressed that the customer service was terrible and that staff seemed to lack pride in their work.

Based on these reviews, customers have experienced issues with order accuracy (missing items), omission of requested sauces in online orders, potentially cold food, and unsatisfactory customer service at this Panda Express location. One positive note is the effective resolution provided by the corporate customer care. However, the on-site management and service appear to be areas of concern raised by multiple reviewers.

No specific promotional information for this location was mentioned in the provided reviews. Given the reported issues, local users may want to consider these recent experiences when deciding to visit this particular Panda Express restaurant.

Surprised my son with his absolute favorite food for lunch at school before I left town for a week. The surprise was devastating to him. Someone did not even put any orange chicken in the box and left the spot empty. Rather than enjoying our time spent together, I spent a portion of that time consoling him and assuring him I would make it up to him. Here's the best part! When I went back to the store after leaving the school, the manager, Amber, refused to offer me a full $11 refund. Instead, she insisted that she could only give me a partial refund. I told her that I would be calling corporate to resolve the issue and leaving me reviews online. Latrice P. from customer care, took my call, and performed her job with the utmost professionalism. Latrice listened, empathized and offered a full refund and something extra for my trouble. Amber, You're the manager, you had all the authority to offer a full refund for your store's mistake, but you doubled down and let me walk out after I told you I was going to call corporate and leave this review. Your store deserves better management and training.

1/10 chance you will get hot food. Also if you order online they will NOT put any sauces even if you've requested them on the app. This location is an absolute joke. I picked up my order tonight and asked a worker for the hot mustard and the woman proceeded to hand me chili sauce. After attempting this place multiple times in hopes that my food would be good, I have officially given up. It's not surprising that they are always hiring. If you enjoy Panda Express, I really recommend going to a different location. I would gladly give them 0 stars if it was an option. I wasn't helped until their lobby of 5 people was cleared out. I've worked in food my whole life and the customer service here is terrible. Seems like no one takes pride in anything they do nowadays and can't even give a simple "I will be right with you" to show any acknowledgement in a customer waiting for 10 minutes.

I frequented this Panda Express. Multiple times a week for years. Sadly, I don’t think I can continue to be a customer. The quantity of food given has gone down severely. The service has become atrocious, the interior is always filthy. The workers use the tables and chairs as storage for all their junk they bring to work. The culture has deteriorated and none of the workers are professional. They are all grumbly and angry to work. They frequently make mistakes and do not apologize or attempt for correct the problems. The time of service has also become really bad. Last time, it took no kidding ONE HOUR to get food in the drive thru and there were only two other cars in front of me. Very hood rat atmosphere at this location now.

This location always makes you wait at the drive through before speaking to you, you have to say “hello?” Multiple times to get anyone to acknowledge you’re there and it always is a very slow drive through. Most recently I had placed an online order and they told me they didn’t have it ready and to go park and wait. It was 30 minutes, and my order had been placed at least 10 minutes prior. So 40 minutes to wait for very average fast food.

I ordered a meal online and the website indicated it would be ready in 15 minutes. Then 3 minutes later, I received a text message that the order was ready, so I hurried up there as fast as I could. But of course when I got home the food was cold. There was one more annoying thing: when I arrived I did not see a sign indicating where to pick up my food. I went to the order counter to ask, but there was nobody there. But right behind the counter was a set of shelves that had a little sign on it that indicated it was the pickup area, and I could see my name on the one bag that was there. I looked around again and did not see anyone headed my way, so I took the two steps forward and grabbed the bag. As I was picking it up a girl who worked there appeared and told me off for going behind their counter. I apologized, and amazingly enough she told me off again. I think one time is enough for a teen-aged employee to admonish one of their adult customers.
