About Panda Express
Panda Express is a well-known Chinese restaurant chain, and the Leesburg, VA location at 1008 Edwards Ferry Rd NE Ste. 170 (20176, USA) offers a convenient option for those seeking quick and affordable Chinese-American cuisine. As part of the broader Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express focuses on providing fast-casual dining with a standardized menu of popular dishes. This particular branch can be contacted at (703) 771-7161 or via mobile at +1 703-771-7161 for inquiries.
Based on customer reviews, the environment of this Panda Express location is generally perceived as clean. One reviewer explicitly mentioned that "the place is clean," which suggests that maintaining a tidy dining area is a priority for this establishment. Another reviewer, who picked up a takeout order, noted that from a quick glance, the dining area appeared to be the same as it was a couple of years prior, implying a level of consistency in its appearance. The observation of a steady stream of customers, with both dine-in and takeout orders being processed, indicates that this location is a popular choice for many in the Leesburg area. While detailed descriptions of the ambiance or décor are not provided, the cleanliness and consistent level of customer traffic suggest a functional and accessible fast-casual dining space.
The services at Panda Express in Leesburg are generally described as quick and polite. One customer specifically noted, "Service is always quick and polite," highlighting the efficiency and courtesy of the staff. This is typical of fast-casual restaurants that aim to provide speedy service to accommodate customers who may be on a tight schedule. However, another more recent review mentioned that the "service was okay," suggesting a potential dip in the consistently high service levels reported previously. Panda Express primarily operates on a counter-service model where customers place their orders, and the food is quickly assembled. Takeout service is also a significant part of their operations, catering to those who prefer to eat their meals off-site. The steady flow of takeout customers observed in one review confirms the availability and popularity of this service option.
The features of Panda Express, as reflected in customer feedback, present a somewhat mixed but generally positive view, especially considering the price point and convenience. A recurring theme in the reviews is the value offered. Several customers mentioned that "for the price and convenience, it’s hard to beat this place" and "again, for the price this place is great." This suggests that Panda Express is perceived as an affordable option that delivers a reasonable quality and quantity of food for the cost. One reviewer specifically appreciated the "consistency in size for the pieces of chicken," noting that this ensures even cooking, a detail often overlooked in similar fast-food chains. This indicates a level of attention to food preparation that some customers value.
However, there are also some concerns raised in the reviews. One customer found their egg roll to be "a little burnt," although the taste was acceptable. This suggests that while generally consistent, there might be occasional lapses in food preparation. Another customer, a former regular, expressed disappointment with a recent experience, stating that the portion sizes of their chow mein with grilled chicken teriyaki and black pepper chicken were smaller than they used to be. They also found the flavor of their food, including the cream cheese rangoons, to be "lacking." This decline in perceived portion size and food flavor led this customer to conclude that their recent experience was "just average compared to others" and that they "don't think I'll be back again." This highlights a potential issue with consistency in food quality and portioning over time.
Currently, the provided information does not include any specific details about promotional offers or special deals at this Panda Express location in Leesburg. The customer reviews focus on their dining experiences and do not mention any discounts, loyalty programs, or limited-time promotions. As a large chain, Panda Express often has national promotions that may be applicable at this location. Local users interested in finding out about any current specials or offers are advised to check the official Panda Express website or app, or to contact the Leesburg branch directly at (703) 771-7161 or +1 703-771-7161.
In conclusion, Panda Express in Leesburg, VA, offers a convenient and generally affordable option for Chinese-American fast food. Customers often appreciate the quick and polite service, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the value for money. A notable feature is the consistency in the size of their chicken pieces, ensuring even cooking. However, recent reviews indicate potential concerns regarding a decrease in portion sizes and inconsistencies in food flavor and preparation, such as a burnt egg roll and bland dishes. While some long-time customers have noticed a decline in their experience, the overall sentiment still acknowledges the affordability and convenience that Panda Express provides. For local users seeking a quick and budget-friendly Chinese meal, this Panda Express location remains a viable option, but it's advisable to be aware of the potential for variability in food quality and portion sizes based on recent customer feedback. Checking for any ongoing promotions directly with the restaurant or online might also enhance the value proposition.

Customer Reviews
For the price and convenience, it’s hard to beat this place. Food quantity and quality are great value. Service is always quick and polite, the place is clean and the food is fresh. What I appreciate is the consistency in size for the pieces of chicken. This means they all cook at the same rate so you’re not getting a bunch of over done small pieces mixed in with larger pieces. That’s not the case at all of these types of restaurants. (See video) The eggroll was a little burnt, but it tasted fine. Not sure I would get it again because it wasn’t memorable but it wasn’t awful either . Again, for the price this place is great.
I used to come to this location because the service was excellent, and they weren't stingy with the servings! Now I haven't been here in quite a while and had only recently stopped by because I was starving and was on a time crunch. My most recent experience could've been much better, but I think it's just average compared to others. I ordered a plate of chow mein with grilled chicken teriyaki and black pepper chicken. The portion was okay. They used to give out much bigger servings, so I was a bit disappointed. I also ordered cream cheese rangoons. The food flavor was lacking, but I was really hungry, so I finished it all. I got my food as a take-away and didn't notice the state of the dining area, but from first glance, it looks the same as it did the last time I was in a couple of years ago. They had a few people dining in and a few people getting take-aways. They had a steady stream of customers. I don't think I'll be back again. Service was okay, but the food was disappointing.
I eat here often and am always happy with the speed of the friendly welcoming service as well as the freshness and variety of dishes available. There are decent offers available when ordering through the app too.
I ordered side steamed rice and the price was 4.60. I spoke to one of the staff of my concern. I've told of the staff of Panda Express that in other Chinese restaurant you can get a steamed rice for $2.00 or less. Their price seems high. Next time I will just go to other Chinese restaurant in the area who serve you a big portion of food for a reasonable price.
