About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a Chinese restaurant located at 3301 E Trindle Rd in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania (PA 17011), USA. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express aims to offer a selection of Chinese-inspired fast food dishes to the community in Camp Hill. You can contact this Panda Express location by phone at (717) 737-5701 or via mobile at +1 717-737-5701 for inquiries.

However, it is crucial to consider recent customer feedback regarding this particular Panda Express location, as the reviews paint a concerning picture of the current food quality and service. Multiple reviewers have expressed significant dissatisfaction with their recent experiences, indicating a potential decline in standards over the past year.

One recurring complaint revolves around the flavor of the fried rice. A customer described it as the "most flavorless rice" they had ever encountered, comparing it to plain white rice with some vegetables and no seasoning. This is a significant criticism for a Chinese restaurant, where fried rice is often a staple dish. If flavorful fried rice is a key component of your Chinese food experience, this feedback suggests that the offering at this Panda Express location may not meet your expectations.

Another dish that has received negative feedback is the crab rangoon. One reviewer stated that it had "absolutely no flavor," tasting like a bite of bland cream cheese. Flavor is a crucial aspect of appetizers, and this comment indicates a potential lack of seasoning or quality in this particular item. If you typically enjoy crab rangoon with a distinct and savory flavor, you might be disappointed with the version served here.

Furthermore, there appear to be inconsistencies in the quality of the chicken dishes. One customer reported that it was a "50/50" chance whether the chicken would be edible or significantly overcooked. Another reviewer described the chicken as being "so overcooked it was as dry as cardboard" and tasting similarly. Dry and overcooked chicken can be unappetizing and detract significantly from the meal. This lack of consistency in a main protein is a serious concern for potential customers.

The issue of dryness in the chicken was further compounded by a customer's experience where they were not provided with enough teriyaki sauce, which might have helped to alleviate the dryness. This suggests a potential oversight in ensuring that dishes are served with the appropriate accompaniments to enhance their taste and texture.

Even the rice, beyond its lack of flavor, has been criticized for its texture. One reviewer noted that the rice appeared to have been sitting in a hot pot for an extended period, causing it to fuse together into large, separated clumps. This indicates a potential lack of freshness or proper handling of the rice, which can negatively impact the overall eating experience.

The overwhelmingly negative sentiment in the recent reviews is further emphasized by a former frequent customer who stated that their last meal was "probably the worst meal I've had in the last 20+ years" and definitively the worst meal they had ever gotten at this location. This strong statement, coupled with the declaration that they would "never get food here again," underscores the severity of the issues being reported.

Given this consistent pattern of negative feedback regarding food quality, including flavorless rice, bland crab rangoon, and frequently overcooked chicken, potential customers may want to exercise caution when considering this Panda Express location. While Panda Express is a well-known chain, these reviews suggest that the quality at this specific branch in Camp Hill, PA, may be significantly lacking.

The reviews do not provide any information about the environment or ambiance of this particular Panda Express location. As a fast-food chain, Panda Express typically features a casual and functional dining area, but the cleanliness and upkeep can vary by location. If the dining environment is important to you, you might want to visit the location in person to assess it before ordering, although the strong concerns about food quality might outweigh this factor.

Similarly, details about the services offered, such as the speed of service or the availability of takeout and dine-in options, are not the primary focus of these negative reviews. However, it is generally expected that Panda Express locations offer both options. To confirm specific service details for this Camp Hill branch, you can contact them directly by phone.

Promotional information is also absent from the provided reviews. Panda Express as a chain often has various promotions and special offers, but there is no indication of any specific deals at this location in the given feedback. If you are interested in potential promotions, you may want to inquire when you call.

In conclusion, recent customer reviews for the Panda Express located at 3301 E Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA, raise significant concerns about the quality of their food, including flavorless fried rice and crab rangoon, as well as frequently overcooked chicken. The texture of the rice has also been criticized. While Panda Express is a recognized brand, the feedback for this specific location is overwhelmingly negative, with customers expressing strong disappointment and vowing not to return. Potential customers are advised to consider these recent experiences carefully before deciding to dine here. For any specific inquiries about their menu, services, or promotions, you can contact them directly at (717) 737-5701 or +1 717-737-5701.

I don’t know what’s happened but they have gone downhill so much in the last year. Their fried rice is the most flavorless rice I’ve ever had. It’s white rice with some veggies in it and no seasoning. Same goes for the crab rangoon. Absolutely no flavor, it tastes like you’re taking a bite of bland cream cheese. And it’s 50/50 if their chicken will be edible or way overcooked. Such a shame when you already have a small menu, take more pride in what you’re serving people. There’s no excuse for a Chinese restaurant to have bad fried rice…. Don’t waste your time. There’s tons of Chinese restaurants in the area, go anywhere else

The chicken was so overcooked it was as dry as cardboard and tasted the same. My wifed picked it up for me they did not give her enough teriyaki sauce for the dish, which may have helped a little w the dry chicken. The rice must have been sitting in that hot pot for a while as it was fused together so it literally was huge clumps that would seperate. I used to love getting food here and would every chance I got, now I will probably never get food here again. This last meal was probably the worst meal I've had in the last 20+ years and definitely the worst meal I have ever gotten here. I will not be eating here ever again

Very unfriendly location. Food is just sitting there, they won't make any of the food that gets ordered most until it's empty making you wait inside a grocery store with nowhere to sit! For 10 bucks they gave me a cold entree, some rice, and asked me to wait 25 minutes for chicken that's already been cooking for 10 minutes. Avoid this place. I'm warning you. Panda Express is becoming the Burger King of Chinese food.

I went for the Beyond Orange “Chicken”. The protein was good, 8.5/10. The broccoli was soooo bad. 0/10. The chow mein was ok, I’d get it again as it was filling. Overall a good first experience!
