About Panda Express

Panda Express is a well-known chain of Chinese restaurants located at 155 E Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont, CO 80501, USA. As a Chinese restaurant operating in the fast-food category, Panda Express is recognized for its quick service and a standardized menu of American-Chinese cuisine. The Longmont location can be contacted at (303) 776-6907 or +1 303-776-6907 for inquiries, though it is primarily designed for walk-in orders and quick service rather than extensive phone interactions.

Based on recent customer feedback, the Panda Express in Longmont appears to be facing significant issues related to order accuracy, service speed, staff morale, and potentially food consistency. One reviewer reported a recurring problem with missing items from their order. Specifically, they mentioned ordering a dozen crab rangoons on multiple occasions and consistently receiving only three. This repeated error led them to express a lack of trust in the establishment's ability to fulfill orders correctly, stating they would no longer give the place any more chances due to the repeated discrepancy between what they paid for and what they received.

Another customer shared concerns about the overall atmosphere and service at this location. They noted a consistent lack of happy employees, describing the staff as always being in a hurry and making customers feel rushed. This suggests a potentially stressful or negative work environment that may be impacting customer interactions. Additionally, this reviewer highlighted a recurring issue with the Teriyaki Chicken, stating that they are consistently told there is a "7 minutes" wait, but the actual wait time invariably extends to around 20 minutes. This indicates a potential problem with time management or communication regarding food preparation times.

While this second reviewer acknowledged that the food is generally "good" and reasonably priced, these positive aspects are overshadowed by the negative experiences with the staff's demeanor and the service speed. Furthermore, they reported an issue with the Beef and Broccoli dish, claiming that it often contains a disproportionately small amount of meat, sometimes consisting of "just broccoli" with as few as "two pieces of meat." This suggests inconsistency in portion sizes or a tendency to skimp on certain ingredients, which can be disappointing for customers.

As a fast-food Chinese restaurant chain, Panda Express typically offers a limited menu of popular American-Chinese dishes served in a cafeteria-style setting. Customers usually select a base (such as rice or noodles) and then choose from a variety of entrees displayed in warming trays. Popular items often include Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, and Chow Mein, as well as appetizers like crab rangoons. Consistency in both food quality and service is usually a hallmark of franchise operations.

The environment of a Panda Express restaurant is generally designed for quick service and high turnover. The Longmont location likely features a serving counter with the various dishes displayed, a cash register area for ordering and payment, and a seating area for customers who wish to eat on-site. The decor is typically standardized across the chain, with a casual and family-friendly atmosphere. Efficiency is usually prioritized in a fast-food setting.

Services offered by Panda Express primarily include quick takeout and limited dine-in options. Customers can order their food at the counter and either take it to go or eat in the designated seating area. Online ordering and delivery through third-party services are also commonly available for Panda Express locations, though these are not specifically mentioned in the provided reviews for the Longmont branch. Given the phone number, it is possible to place phone orders for pickup, but this is not explicitly confirmed.

Features of Panda Express as a chain include its speed of service (though this is contradicted by one reviewer's experience at this location), relatively affordable prices (acknowledged as reasonable by one reviewer), and a consistent menu across different locations (though the inconsistency in the Beef and Broccoli portion suggests a potential issue at this branch). However, the provided reviews highlight several negative features specific to the Longmont location, including frequent order inaccuracies (missing items), slow service despite quoted wait times, an atmosphere of unhappy and rushed employees, and potential inconsistencies in food preparation (minimal meat in the Beef and Broccoli).

Promotional information for Panda Express is often available on their national website or through in-store signage. These promotions can include limited-time offers on specific dishes, family meal deals, or online ordering discounts. The provided reviews do not mention any specific promotions being offered at the Longmont location. Local users interested in deals or special offers should check the official Panda Express website or inquire at the store directly.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located in Longmont, CO, appears to be facing significant challenges based on recent customer feedback. Issues with frequently missing items from orders, slow and rushed service by seemingly unhappy staff, and inconsistencies in food preparation (particularly the portion of meat in the Beef and Broccoli) are major concerns. While the food is described as generally good and reasonably priced by one reviewer, these positive aspects are overshadowed by the negative experiences related to order accuracy and service. Local users considering this restaurant should be aware of these potential issues and may want to double-check their orders carefully before leaving and be prepared for potentially slow service and a less-than-enthusiastic staff.

I've never experienced a happy employee here. They are always in a hurry and always make me feel rushed. Every single time we have to wait "7 minutes for teriyaki chicken" and we always seem to wait 20. The food is good and reasonable on price but the staff is depressing. If you order the beef and broccoli, be ready for just broccoli, literally two pieces of meat

The manager was outstanding. The manager came out and talked to us while we were eating our food and made sure we were totally satisfied 😁. Not only did we get our 10% military discount but the manager gave us all free egg rolls and thanked us for service to our country. The food was hot fresh and outstanding šŸ˜‹

Their lack of accountability is disgusting. I ordered my food at 10 AM and had it set to be ready for pick up by 12 seeing as I work an eight hour shift and only have a 30 minute lunch. I showed up at 12:10 and not only couldn’t they find my order they kept questioning me like I already picked it up Then when they finally found the order, they took their slow time and we’re super rude to me. I asked to speak to the manager and he said there was nothing they could do this place is complete trash and I will not be back. They lost my business for good.

They must have changed cooks. The food was hot, fresh, for coming in to eat after 6:30pm. The egg rolls didn’t look too great. The service was quick.
