About Panda Express
Located at 2055 E Katella Ave in Anaheim, California, Panda Express is a well-known Chinese Restaurant offering a fast-casual dining experience focused on American Chinese cuisine. The aroma upon entering is often described as inviting, with sweet, tangy, and garlicky scents.
A standout favorite at Panda Express is the Orange Chicken, frequently praised for its crispy texture, flavorful sauce, and balance of sweet and spicy notes. Many customers consider it a signature dish and a reason to visit. Popular accompaniments include fried rice and chow mein, offering a complete and satisfying meal.
While Panda Express is not considered to serve traditional or "authentic" Chinese food, it has garnered a reputation for consistently delivering delicious, Americanized Chinese dishes. The service is generally noted as speedy and friendly, and the portion sizes are often described as generous. For those seeking a touch of greens, options like super greens are available.
Customer reviews indicate that dishes like Broccoli Beef and Honey Sesame Chicken are also well-received. However, some feedback suggests that the chow mein can occasionally be undercooked and lack flavor, and the portion size of certain items like the sesame chicken might be perceived as less substantial compared to the rest of the meal.
Overall, Panda Express in Anaheim offers a convenient and accessible option for those craving familiar and flavorful American Chinese fast food in a welcoming setting.

Customer Reviews
Walking into Panda Express is like stepping into a warm, delicious hug from your favorite foodie friend. The smell hits you first—sweet, tangy, garlicky goodness wafting through the air like an irresistible siren song. But let’s get to the real star of the show: the orange chicken. Oh yes, the glorious, crispy, sticky, sweet-and-spicy masterpiece that dances on your taste buds like it’s got its own rhythm. It’s my absolute favorite, and honestly, I’d fight someone for the last piece (in a friendly way, of course… maybe). Every bite is a crunchy, saucy celebration of why fast casual Asian-inspired food deserves a permanent place in our hearts—and stomachs. Pair it with some fried rice or chow mein, and boom—you’ve got yourself a flavor-packed party tray on a plastic plate. Sure, it’s not “authentic” Chinese food, but it’s authentically delicious, and sometimes that’s all you need. The staff is always speedy and friendly, the portions are generous, and you can even pretend you’re eating healthy by adding a scoop of super greens. (Balance, right?) Panda Express, thank you for keeping my orange chicken cravings alive and well. Never change.
I stopped here to grab some broccoli beef and honey sesame chicken that tasted pretty good. The meal came with fried rice and chow mein but the noodles were a bit undercooked lacked flavor. Also sesame chicken served portion was unimpressive compared to the entire meal.
Excellent food. Only wish they could get the crispy noodles back in stock. Seems to have been a victim of the pandemic. 10/22 update. Great food, this location is doing fine. Chipotle and Dave's Hot Chicken new neighbors, and same Starbucks. But still a Panda
🤘 Rockin and Rollin over here @ Panda Express... it's even peak dinner time, almost full capacity and the restaurant is really clean. Impressed. The employees demonstrated good teamwork with one another and the ladies were efficient both with preparing and ringing up my dinner order. Fair proportions given. Food cooked thoroughly. Thank you. 👏
Today was a better day for food there. Service was good, I ordered online walked in picked it up and walked out. Usually this place is pretty good for their food. Today was a bad day, the chicken teriyaki was dry as it was the very last pieces in the pan before they brought in a new fresh pan. Also the Chow mein noodles was really good until I find a huge chunk of this cabbage core sliced in my dish. The funniest moment was when one of the cashiers goes to bring over one of the pans of hot food. Grabs it and if she's bringing it over goes oh my God it's hot, no duh!
