About Panda Express

As a Chinese Restaurant platform, we introduce you to Panda Express, located at 439 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823, USA. You can contact them at (517) 203-2689 or +1 517-203-2689.

Based on recent customer reviews, the food quality at this Panda Express location is perceived as average by some. One first-time customer found the orange chicken to be tasty, but rated the teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken as really average. Their delivery order arrived late, and some sauce had spilled into the bag. This customer felt that a 3-star rating was sufficient for the overall food and store experience.

A notable feature of this Panda Express is the availability of a plant-based chicken dish called "Beyond Chicken." One customer who tried this dish on a limited budget received a portion size they found surprisingly small but delicious and satisfying, even with a large appetite. They also mentioned that the staff was patient and kind during their interaction and expressed intent to return in the future.

In summary, Panda Express in East Lansing offers standard Chinese fast food with a few highlights, such as the orange chicken and the plant-based "Beyond Chicken" option. However, some customers have experienced issues with delivery and found certain dishes to be average. Portion sizes, particularly for budget-conscious orders of the "Beyond Chicken," may be small. On a positive note, the staff has been described as patient and kind.

First time to order from Panda express a chinese place and the food was average. The order came later and some of the sauce was spilled into the bag. The orange chicken was tasty, but all the rest from teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken was really average. 3 stars is more rhan enough for the food and the store.

I love that they have a plant based chicken dish called, "Beyond Chicken." I had just that one dish and I asked for the cheapest portion available for I didn't have much cash. The portion I got was so small, it surprised me. It was delicious. I gave one piece for my friend to try. It was actually satisfying. I tend to have a large appetite. The staff was patient and kind. I will return someday.

Great location with great staffs. The manager was very nice. It was a slow day so they didn’t prep too much food to keep everything fresh. The manager was very friendly and let us know we are more than welcome to order whatever and she will make sure they cook it for us asap. I did order my usual and the wait wasn’t long at all plus it was straight from the wok (into my belly!).

My heart is so happy that they have VEGAN CHICKEN NOW! Not only that, but ORANGE!! It is so amazing- my new favorite fast food order is beyond orange chicken & chow mein. I am so glad to have more vegan options being introduced into large chains like this. This location was surprisingly clean and had great service (surprising bc) it is located right on the edge of campus where crazy drunk students (like I did, as an alumni) run around. I also got a veggie spring roll but it was only ok- would have been better with a dipping sauce.

I got 2 plates, both the chow mein and the rice were partially cooked and were pretty hard. It’s frustrating because rice and noodles are so easy to cook how do you mess those up? The chicken was ok
