About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known Chinese fast-food restaurant located at 501 E 10th St in Greenville, North Carolina. As part of a larger chain of Chinese restaurants, we aim to provide quick and convenient options for those seeking familiar American-Chinese cuisine. Our establishment in Greenville offers both dine-in and takeout services, catering to individuals and families looking for a fast and satisfying meal.

Based on customer reviews, the environment at Panda Express in Greenville is often busy. One reviewer notes that the restaurant is "always busy," which can be both a positive and a negative aspect. The high traffic suggests popularity and potentially fresher food turnover due to demand. However, it might also imply a crowded dining area and longer wait times during peak hours. Another reviewer mentions that the atmosphere can be "hard to read sometimes" due to uncertainty about the store's operating hours. They point out inconsistencies between posted signs and actual opening times, making it difficult to plan a visit and suggesting potential issues with communication or operational management regarding store hours.

Our services at Panda Express in Greenville include both dine-in and takeout. The fast-food model emphasizes quick service for both options. Customers can order at the counter for immediate takeout or choose to dine within the restaurant. One reviewer specifically mentions using the drive-thru as a "back up plan" due to the uncertainty of the store being open for walk-in service, indicating that the drive-thru is also a frequently utilized service option.

The features of Panda Express are generally consistent across its locations, focusing on a selection of popular American-Chinese dishes prepared in a fast-paced environment. In Greenville, some specific dishes mentioned in the reviews include the teriyaki chicken and other meat options. One reviewer notes that the food is "still good" despite some concerns. However, they also point out a trend of shrinking portion sizes due to inflation, specifically mentioning that the teriyaki chicken, which used to include two pieces, now often only has one. Another recurring issue highlighted is the availability and freshness of meat options other than the teriyaki chicken. The reviewer states that it's "always hard to find another meat" that is readily available and hasn't been sitting for a while, raising concerns about the freshness and variety of the non-teriyaki offerings.

Regarding the teriyaki chicken, one regular customer consistently requests that it be cut into smaller pieces due to difficulty chewing larger chunks. They report having to ask for this multiple times per visit, and the staff doesn't always seem happy to accommodate this request. This suggests a potential lack of flexibility or attentiveness to specific customer needs. The same reviewer describes the general service as "decent," with staff doing their job without going above and beyond and mostly keeping to themselves.

A significant feature, or rather a point of concern, is the inconsistency in the store's operating hours as perceived by one reviewer. The discrepancy between posted hours and actual opening times can be a major inconvenience for customers planning to visit the restaurant. Despite this issue, the reviewer expresses a love for the food and still recommends the restaurant, albeit with the caveat of having a backup plan for using the drive-thru if the store appears closed.

Regarding promotional information, there are no specific promotions, discounts, or special offers mentioned in the provided text for the Greenville location. As a national chain, Panda Express often has corporate-level promotions that may be available. Local users interested in knowing about any such deals at the Greenville Panda Express should check the official Panda Express website or inquire directly at the store by calling (252) 328-4758 or +1 252-328-4758.

In conclusion, Panda Express in Greenville, NC, is a busy Chinese fast-food restaurant offering both dine-in and takeout services, including a drive-thru. While the food, particularly the teriyaki chicken, is generally considered good by some regular customers, there are concerns about shrinking portion sizes, the availability and freshness of other meat options, and the consistency of the store's operating hours. The service is described as decent but not exceptional, with some reluctance to accommodate specific requests. Potential local users should be aware of these factors when considering Panda Express in Greenville. Checking the drive-thru as a backup due to potential inconsistencies in opening hours for walk-in service might be a prudent approach. For information on any current promotions, direct inquiry with the store or the official Panda Express channels is recommended.

Always busy so food do not stay heated for too long. Problem is because of inflation, portion is getting smaller. They didn't raise prices but portion shrink. Teriyaki chicken usually have 2 pieces but now one 😒. Food is still good

I eat in alot, i typically always get the teriaki chicken and another meat. its always hard to find another meat, because either they are out of alot of things, or its a small portion thats been sitting there a while and you are afraid to get that. I always have to ask for the teriaki to be cut, and on top of that i have to ask 2 to 3 times and they dont seem happy every time i ask. I am missing some primary teeth so its hard for me to chew HUGE chunks of meat. the service is decent, they do their job, nothing more nothing less, and they keep their comments to their selves for the most part. the atmosphere is hard to read sometimes, since its hard to get int he store since you dont know when they are open. the signs on the door say one thing, but you go there and its locked. i would give better rating if not for this. i love the food here regardless! i would reccommend it but plan for drive thru as a back up plan.

So disappointed with our lunch today. The food was so bland. No flavor at all & very dry. The rice was sticky & not satisfying at all. We got a 2 entree plate & a 3 entree plate ... between the 5 entrees maybe one of them were good. Not sure who does the cooking there but they need to do better. And the customer service is horrible. Not sure why someone would work in the food business & have zero personality. It will be a while before we try this again.

The last couple times I got food from the Panda Express at 10th I always leave with leftovers. They always add good proportions of chicken, not just bunch of rice and 5 pieces of chicken. I will not recommend to go to the one in Memorial. I will take the trip all across to 10th next time I want Panda Express.

Crab Rangoon was burnt and tasteless, Noodle were terribly dried out, broccoli didn't taste fully cooked. Only gave it an extra star only because serving lady was very polite and courteous. Food was terrible for the price.
