About Panda Express

For local users in Colorado Springs considering a quick Chinese meal at Panda Express located within the Citadel Mall at 750 Citadel Dr E SUITE #2248, it's important to be aware of recent feedback from other customers. This particular branch can be contacted at (719) 596-3807 or +1 719-596-3807 for inquiries.

Recent reviews paint a concerning picture of the customer experience at this Panda Express location. One reviewer expressed multiple disappointments, starting with the closure of the unisex restroom, which they interpreted as a lack of care for nonbinary patrons. This raises questions about the accessibility and inclusivity of the facilities at this specific branch.

Adding to their dissatisfaction, the same reviewer mentioned frequent instances of staff forgetting the "signature cookie" that often accompanies Panda Express meals. While seemingly a minor issue, consistent oversights like this can detract from the overall customer experience and suggest a lack of attention to detail.

More seriously, this reviewer also reported issues with pricing. They noted that displayed prices appeared to be increasing, but more alarmingly, they claimed that the amount charged to their bank account was higher than the total shown on the payment prompt. They explicitly stated that this discrepancy was not due to taxes or any other apparent fees, labeling it "unforgivable and inexcusable." Such discrepancies in billing are significant and can erode customer trust.

Another customer review was even more critical, branding this location as the "worst Panda in the springs." This reviewer expressed a strong aversion to wasting food and money but stated that their experiences at this branch were consistently negative. They specifically mentioned the Orange Chicken being hard and tasting like it had been sitting out all day. Despite giving this location three attempts, they reported the same issue with the chicken's freshness and texture each time, making it difficult to chew.

In stark contrast to their positive experiences at other Panda Express locations, this reviewer felt that the Citadel Mall branch lacked care for food quality. They even claimed that the vegetables tasted old. This level of dissatisfaction prompted them to declare that they would travel further to other Panda Express locations to avoid the consistently poor quality at this one. Their loyalty to the Panda Express brand, even to the extent of having a logo tattoo, underscores the depth of their disappointment with this particular location.

The strong negative feedback regarding food quality, particularly the freshness and texture of the Orange Chicken, is a significant concern for potential customers. The claim of consistently serving food that tastes old and has been sitting out suggests potential issues with food preparation, storage, or turnover at this location. This directly impacts the core offering of a Chinese restaurant – the quality and taste of its food.

The reported pricing discrepancies are also a serious matter, as they involve a breach of trust between the business and the consumer. Charging customers more than the advertised or prompted price is unethical and can lead to significant dissatisfaction and a loss of customer confidence.

The issue with the closed unisex restroom raises concerns about the accessibility and inclusivity of this Panda Express location within the Citadel Mall. In today's environment, providing accessible and inclusive restroom facilities is increasingly seen as a basic standard of customer care.

The repeated forgetting of the signature cookie, while a minor point compared to food quality and pricing, still contributes to a perception of carelessness or lack of attention to detail in customer service.

Given the strong negative feedback concerning food quality, pricing discrepancies, and accessibility issues, potential customers should approach this Panda Express location with caution. While Panda Express is generally known for its consistent standards across different locations, these reviews suggest that the Citadel Mall branch may be an exception.

At this time, no information about any promotional offers specific to this Panda Express location within the Citadel Mall was provided in the reviews. Typically, Panda Express as a chain may offer national or regional promotions, which could potentially apply here. However, considering the reported issues, the focus for this location seems to be on addressing fundamental problems with food quality, pricing accuracy, and customer service rather than attracting new customers with promotions.

In conclusion, the Panda Express at 750 Citadel Dr E SUITE #2248 in Colorado Springs has received concerning feedback from recent customers. Issues raised include the closure of the unisex restroom, frequent omission of the signature cookie, discrepancies between displayed and charged prices, and consistently poor food quality, particularly the Orange Chicken tasting old and hard. One reviewer went so far as to label it the "worst Panda in the springs" and vowed to avoid it despite being a loyal fan of the brand. Potential customers should carefully consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to visit this particular location. It appears that this branch may need to address significant issues in management, food preparation, quality control, pricing accuracy, and customer service to regain customer trust and satisfaction. Local users might be better served by visiting other Panda Express locations in Colorado Springs that have received more positive feedback regarding food quality and service.

I really hate to see a mall die and it pains me to leave this review but now that the unisex restroom has been closed proving this place doesn't care about nonbinary patrons, coupled with the staff often forgetting the signature cookie, and finally the price. Not only are displayed prices going up, but when I checked my bank they actually charged me more than advertised. That is unforgivable and inexcusable. (No it's not taxes or anything the actual full Total on the prompter literally showed me a different TOTAL than what was charged to my card )

The other locations are further than me but I will be going the extra miles to avoid this place , this location needs better management and better cook other Panda Express locations aren’t like this location they always seem like they don’t care about quality for customers at this location even the veggies taste old . I love Panda Express so much I got the panda from the logo tattooed please believe me don’t go to that panda for fresh food you will waste money and time and end up with gross overcooked food

They honestly need to close this location down. Got delivery last month, ordered 1 side and 2 entrees. They sent a box with 1 side, 1 entree, and an empty spot where my other entree goes. They couldn't even pick up the phone or make it right. Then tonight gave them another chance. Order was surprisingly correct. Ordered at the store. But all of the food was cold, the noodles were burnt, the beef was burnt, broccoli was fine. If you don't care that much you really need to just shut down.

I have tried not to complain. I do Uber Eats but I feel since there is no option on the app to make notes that I’d your getting Teriyaki chicken you should just include the teriyaki sauce. The north academy location has implemented this and it has worked great. Also, it should jut be normal to add soy sauce to the order. Like I said there is not an option on the app and I am really tired of not getting normal sauces that would come with Chinese food. We already get over charged for meals versus going in to the store

I hadn’t visited this Panda Express location since before the pandemic, and unfortunately, it has really gone downhill. The rice was undercooked, and the chow mein tasted either stale or burnt, as if it wasn’t prepared properly. I would recommend going to a different location, as most others offer a much better experience! The orange chicken, veggie rolls, and broccoli beef were decent, though!
