About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known Chinese restaurant conveniently located at 4924 Centre Pointe Dr, North Charleston, SC 29418, USA. You can reach them by calling (843) 308-0988 or their mobile number +1 843-308-0988. Situated in a bustling complex alongside shopping outlets, Best Buy, Walmart, and other major retailers, Panda Express offers a readily accessible dining option for shoppers and local residents alike.

For travelers staying in nearby hotels, Panda Express has proven to be a reliable and comforting choice. One visitor mentioned that it became their "comfort food" during their stay, indicating a consistent quality and familiar taste that provided satisfaction over multiple meals. This suggests that Panda Express offers a dependable dining experience for those seeking familiar flavors.

Panda Express boasts a selection of popular and well-loved Chinese-American dishes. Among these, the orange chicken stands out as a frequently ordered item, appreciated for its sweet and tangy flavor. The black pepper chicken with string beans is also a favorite, although one customer noted that it tends to be "always out of stock except at lunchtime," suggesting high demand and potentially limited availability outside of peak hours. The honey sesame chicken is another popular choice, offering a sweet and savory combination. While the customer mentioned ordering these dishes with fried rice (their preferred option), it's important to note that Panda Express typically offers a variety of base options, including fried rice, white steamed rice, and chow mein.

The ambiance of the North Charleston Panda Express location is described as "good" and generally "cleaned up to some extent." This suggests a casual and comfortable dining environment suitable for a quick meal. However, one observation was made regarding the responsiveness of staff to cleaning tables after customers leave. The reviewer noted that while the cleanliness is generally maintained, there might be occasional delays in clearing vacated tables, attributing this partly to the "civic sense" of customers who leave messes. Despite this minor point, the overall impression of the ambiance is positive.

The staff at this Panda Express location are commended for their positive attitude and helpfulness. One reviewer described them as "good" and "happy to help with your questions," indicating a willingness to assist customers with their orders and inquiries. A particularly appreciated gesture mentioned was the offer of "an extra scoop of rice," highlighting a friendly and accommodating service approach that can enhance customer satisfaction.

The location of this Panda Express is a significant advantage, situated within a large complex that attracts a high volume of shoppers. Its proximity to major retail stores like Best Buy and Walmart makes it a convenient stop for those running errands or enjoying a shopping outing. This accessibility contributes to its popularity and ensures a steady flow of customers.

Customers have specifically mentioned enjoying dishes such as chow mein, orange chicken, shrimp (likely a variation like Kung Pao Shrimp or Sweet Fire Chicken Breast with shrimp), and fried rice. These dishes were described as "delicious" and "flavorful," reinforcing the positive feedback regarding the taste of the food. Despite experiencing a "long line," one reviewer noted that the wait time was not excessive, indicating efficient service even during busy periods. The staff were also described as "very nice" in this review, further supporting the positive comments about customer service.

In summary, the Panda Express at 4924 Centre Pointe Dr in North Charleston offers a convenient and generally well-regarded dining experience. Its location within a major shopping complex makes it easily accessible. Customers appreciate the flavorful food, with popular choices including orange chicken, black pepper chicken (when available), honey sesame chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. The staff are often described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive atmosphere. While the ambiance is generally good, occasional delays in table cleaning might occur. For local users in North Charleston seeking a quick, tasty, and reliable Chinese-American meal in a convenient location, Panda Express is a solid option. Glad it was near to our hotel… it was our comfort food during our stay. We had the meal 2-3 times and our fav was Black pepper & string bean chicken which seems to be always out of stock except at lunchtime. Though we order below with fried rice (we always prefer rice) * Orange chicken * Black Pepper Chicken* String bean chicken * Honey sesame chicken The ambiance is good and cleaned up to some extent. If someone leaves the mess, no one is quickly coming to clean the table. I would blame their civic sense though The staff is good, happy to help with your questions and an extra scoop of rice 😉 The location is great as well, in the same complex as shopping outlets, Best Buy, Walmart, and other big stores.

We had chow mein, orange chicken, shrimp, fried rice. It was delicious. And flavorful. Even though it was a long line, but we didn’t wait that long . Stuff is very nice.

The was my first time ever trying Panda Express. Tiktok made me try it. In my opinion it taste like the Asian food from the food court. The rice was bland and the chow mein was dry. Everything else was just okay. I tried the family meal. The portion sizes were good considering I got it all for just $30.

Arrived 45 minutes before closing and there was there was no fried rice, super greens or noodles. I understand they had just been hit with a big order. The manager had her kitchen cook up some super greens and string bean chicken for my order which was nice. Unfortunately the veggies were cooked too quickly and weren't completely warmed through. They tried but I was still a bit disappointed.

Panda not so express. I love panda the food is usually great. Today I decided to get some at a different location and it’s horrible food all over the ground, I waited about 20 minutes for orange chicken. Extremely disappointed in this location they need to learn a thing or two about the Panda Express on rivers. Not only was it at 4:30 so not near lunch rush at all but it was also dead inside.
