About Panda Express
Located at 625 Black Lake Blvd SW Space Fc3 in Olympia, Washington, Panda Express is a well-known chain categorized as a Chinese Restaurant, offering a variety of American Chinese dishes. As a fast-food establishment, Panda Express aims to provide quick and convenient meal options for local users. While it is part of a large franchise, each location's performance can vary, and it's essential to consider recent local feedback to gain an accurate understanding of the current customer experience at this Olympia branch.
Given the nature of Panda Express as a fast-food chain, the environment typically features a casual and efficient setup designed for quick service. Customers usually order at a counter and can either take their food to go or eat in a designated dining area with tables and chairs. The focus is generally on functionality and speed rather than elaborate decor. The ambiance is usually bright and family-friendly, catering to a broad range of customers looking for a quick meal.
The primary service model of Panda Express is counter-service for both dine-in and takeout orders. Customers can select their entrees, sides, and appetizers from a visible display. The speed of service is usually a key feature, aiming to provide meals quickly. While Panda Express is primarily a brick-and-mortar establishment, many locations, including this one in Olympia, likely offer phone orders for pickup at (360) 754-8500 or +1 360-754-8500, providing added convenience for local users. Delivery options may also be available through third-party services, although this is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews.
Panda Express is known for its popular American Chinese dishes, such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and a variety of chow mein and fried rice options. These dishes are typically prepared in large batches and kept warm for quick serving. However, recent customer reviews for the Olympia location raise significant concerns about the quality and freshness of the food. One reviewer described their fried rice as "cook enough so the rice was crunchy," which could indicate it was overcooked or stale. The same reviewer also expressed severe dissatisfaction with the "chicken mushroom" dish, stating that the "chicken didn't taste like chicken" and had a "way too slimy" and "didn't taste right" texture. This negative feedback suggests potential issues with the preparation or quality of certain menu items.
Adding to these concerns, the reviewer mentioned that "20 mins late I was running to the toilet," indicating a possible adverse reaction to the food. Another customer reported a more severe experience, stating they "got food poisoning" after eating food from this location. They specifically mentioned that "something seemed off" about the chow mein, which they believe was the cause of their "severe pain" and inability to stand. These are serious allegations that potential local users should consider. The stark contrast between the generally expected fast-food experience and these reports of foodborne illness is alarming.
The only positive aspect mentioned by one reviewer was the "zucchini," suggesting that some vegetable components might be of acceptable quality. However, this single positive comment is overshadowed by the significant negative feedback regarding the main dishes and the potential health consequences reported by customers.
Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. As a large chain, Panda Express often has national or regional promotions. Local users interested in any ongoing specials or discounts at the Olympia location should contact them directly via the provided phone numbers. However, given the serious concerns raised in the recent reviews, potential customers might prioritize food safety and quality over any promotional offers.
In conclusion, while Panda Express is a familiar Chinese Restaurant chain known for its quick service and American Chinese cuisine, recent customer reviews for the location at 625 Black Lake Blvd SW in Olympia, WA, present significant concerns. Multiple reviewers reported negative experiences with food quality, including issues with texture, taste, and potential foodborne illness. The fried rice was described as crunchy, the chicken in the chicken mushroom dish was deemed unappetizing and slimy, and the chow mein was suspected of causing food poisoning. While one reviewer found the zucchini to be acceptable, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly negative and raises serious questions about the current food quality and safety practices at this particular Panda Express location. Local users should exercise caution and consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to patronize this restaurant.

The fried rice was cook enough so the rice was crunchy. The chicken mushroom I got, the chicken didn't taste like chicken. It was way to slimy and didn't taste right. The only good thing was the zucchini. 20 mins late I was running to the toilet. I don't not recommend at all
I got food here yesterday. It is the only thing I ate yesterday. I woke up with severe pain and un able to stand up straight. I got food poisoning and I believe it was from the chow main as something seemed off about it but I thought it was just me. I am in real pain
Very mean to me and my boys. The skinny girl was mean and she didn’t respect me even though I was nice. She needs to be fired. Food was good but the chow mein was dry and flavorless. Overall 4 stars for food and 1 star for everything else
I love the food and atmosphere here, but when I order my food. The server said it will be a will for fresh noodles. And I went and sat down the cashier tried to get me to pay early and I told her I rather pay when it's done. She gave my an aggravating look and threw my plate to the side aggressively, her name was zinna. And once my meal was ready she told me with an loud an aggressive voice "Can you please come pay".
The average height female here today that always has a smile on her face is doing an amazing job. Even when it’s super busy, she still is spreading positivity.
