About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a Chinese Restaurant conveniently located at 7316 Baltimore Ave in College Park, Maryland. As a well-known chain, Panda Express offers Americanized Chinese fast food, providing a quick and accessible option for those seeking this style of cuisine.

According to one customer review, Panda Express offers food that is neither strictly authentic nor super healthy, but it is also not considered junk food. This reviewer describes it as medium-quality food court Chinese food that is generally acceptable and quick, expressing support for the business model. They also noted that the employees were friendly.

However, another customer reported a negative experience regarding food availability. This was their second visit to this location where they found several popular menu items, including black pepper chicken, teriyaki chicken, and beef and broccoli, to be unavailable. They found it "unacceptable" that an hour before closing time, they were essentially being turned away or forced to choose from what they perceived as dried-up leftovers, indicating poor customer service due to a reluctance to cook fresh food.

Based on these reviews, Panda Express in College Park offers Americanized Chinese fast food that some find satisfactory for a quick meal, with friendly service. However, there are also reports of significant issues with food availability, even an hour before closing, which has led to negative customer experiences. For inquiries, you can contact them at (301) 209-7501 or via mobile at +1 301-209-7501. Local users may want to consider these recent experiences when deciding to visit.

I love authentic diverse cuisine and want it to be healthy but I also like junk food. While this food isn't authentic or super healthy, it's not junk food either. It's Americanized food court Chinese food of a medium quality but it's fine and quick and I support this business model. And the employees were nice to my kids and me.

The first time I let it slide. This is the second time I’ve come to this location they are out of food. No black pepper chicken, no teriyaki chicken, no beef and broccoli. Half the menu just unavailable. It’s unacceptable. Today I arrived at 9, and wanted to order for two people. They close at 10. There is no reason you should be turning customers away a hour before closing because you don’t want to make more food. Nor should I be forced to choose between dried up meats left over because you don’t want to cook more food. It’s horrible customer service, and turning away paying customers.

I love me some Panda! This is a great bite for any college student and is not different from any other Panda you’ll go to. I will admit that I had to wait 2 minutes for some rangoons, but I didn’t mind. The rangoons were a little ugly compared to what I’m used to but I still enjoyed them. The orange chicken had quite the load of orange sauce and was delicious.

I watched a cook walk to the front counter and with no gloves on take food and eat it from one of the dishes. Then he proceeded to touch the white rice cooker and walk back to his spot where he was cooking. Oh and also on his way back, he grabbed a handful of garlic from the other cook’s metal dish and put it striaght into his mouth, then proceeded to walk back to his cooking spot without washing his hands. I mean what are we doing, the cooks in the restaurant are straight up eating food with barehands and walking back to cook without washing their hands. Now I’m wondering what kind of filth lies in my food from theirs guys hands and mouth.

With chain restaurants, you *should* be able to expect consistency across locations, but it's rarely the case. There are worse ones where the portions are small and the staff would rather be anywhere but there. But this location has yet to disappoint. The portions are always generous, the staff nice, and the food fresh. The store is nice and bright and has a lot of seating, too.
