About Panda Express
Panda Express, situated at 6851 Amador Plaza Rd Space 101 in Dublin, California, is a well-known establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, offering a selection of American Chinese cuisine to the local community. This location provides convenient options for those seeking a quick and familiar meal, primarily focusing on takeout services according to recent customer feedback.
Based on recent online reviews, the dining environment at this particular Panda Express location appears to have been quiet during a specific visit on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM, with no customers observed dining in. This suggests that the restaurant may primarily cater to takeout orders at certain times. However, it's important to note that this observation is from a single customer experience and may not reflect the typical ambiance at all times.
In terms of services, the primary offering seems to be "to go" orders. One customer reported that their takeout order, placed on April 3rd, 2025, was not packed properly, resulting in different food items being mixed together. This indicates a potential area for improvement in their order preparation and packaging process to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent inconvenience during transportation.
Regarding the food itself, opinions appear to be mixed. One reviewer noted that it is a "good choice for non-vegetarian food," implying that the restaurant offers a decent selection of meat-based dishes. However, the same review also highlighted that vegetarian options are limited, with the Vegetable Fried Rice and Spring Rolls being described as "very ordinary." On a positive note, the food was reported to be fresh and served hot, which are crucial aspects of a satisfactory dining experience.
A significant portion of the recent feedback revolves around an unusual incident involving a non-customer within the establishment. A mother with a young child reportedly approached and harassed customers, begging for food. One customer expressed disappointment in how the situation was handled by Panda Express staff, stating that they felt the establishment could have intervened more effectively to ensure a comfortable dining environment for paying customers. The reviewer recounted feeling uncomfortable and ultimately taken advantage of during the encounter. This incident, while not directly related to the food or standard service, raises concerns about the restaurant's approach to managing disruptive situations within their premises and its potential impact on the overall customer experience.
It's important for potential customers to consider this feedback alongside their own expectations. While the food may be fresh and hot, and the non-vegetarian options are considered good by at least one reviewer, the limited vegetarian choices and the reported issue with order packing are points to be aware of. Furthermore, the isolated incident involving a disruptive non-customer and the perceived lack of intervention from staff may be a concern for some.
Currently, no specific promotional information was available in the provided text. Customers interested in any ongoing promotions, discounts, or special offers are advised to contact the restaurant directly at (925) 556-1982 or +1 925-556-1982. They may also inquire about online ordering options or any loyalty programs that Panda Express might offer.
In conclusion, Panda Express at 6851 Amador Plaza Rd in Dublin offers American Chinese cuisine primarily for takeout. While some customers have found the non-vegetarian food to be a good choice and appreciated its freshness, potential customers should be aware of the reported limitations in vegetarian options, an instance of improper order packing, and a past incident concerning the management of non-customers within the dining area. For the most up-to-date information on their menu, services, and any current promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

Good choice for non vegetarian food. Vegetarian dishes are limited. Vegetable fried rice and spring rolls were very ordinary. However the food was fresh and served hot. Not a single person dining in. Had a 'to go' order. The food wasn't packed properly. Different items were mixed up.
- On Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 - Between the times of 3 pm to 4:30 pm Did anyone else get approached by this mother with a toddler boy about 2-3 yrs old begging for food? I'm still bitter about how everything went down, I thought Panda Express could have handled things a bit better too seeing it was their Establishment and as a paying customer we shouldn't have to be harassed by beggars (see photo) or be held responsible because this particular person and her toddler were hungry!! I thought Dublin had a place (shelters) for struggling mothers with a small child who can then find resources to help them get back on their feet? Maybe Panda Express could have called the non-emergency number to the Dublin Police for trespassing and also harassing other customers as well? There were 2 other separate families dining in at the time of the incident. They too got hounded by this mother with her toddler son saying, "She's hungry!!" I'm a mom to two children, both of my kids wanted Panda Express after school. When this other mom and her toddler approached us, we were hounded which made us feel very uncomfortable. Yes, we could have left, but I also felt like I shouldn't have to leave IF that makes any sense so I held my ground hoping for some kind of positive outcome? Everything happened so fast in terms of making decisions however I felt like at the very end I was taken advantage of by this mother and her toddler son, both complete strangers to both of my children and I. What I should have done next was to order enough food for the mother and her son to share. My mistake was trusting the other mother thinking she was going to order a plate to share with her son. By the time my kids and I reached the cashier I found out the mother deceived me by ordering extra food of 2 plates, 1 kids meal, with kids meal you get a drink (also fruit snack) so the mother chose Apple juice, but also chose soda bottle on top of everything else and my son misunderstood and literally gave away his large fountain drink to this mother. Unbelievable By this point, I felt as IF I was held Accountable by Panda Express as well as this mother who hounded us for FOOD to begin with and felt Panda Express could have stepped in to help us, but instead all the workers in the front area just sheepishly stood there, staring at my kids and I like we were the problem. Of course the mother was HAPPY!! She basically hounded my kids and I, somehow made me held responsible for the 2 plates, 1 kid's meal with fruit snack, Apple Juice, soda bottle and a large fountain drink when WATER was basically FREE. Any fool would be HAPPY!! Of course I wouldn't take Advantage of others though. I would have to draw a line right there. When my kids and I got back to our car, I wasn't feeling well regarding the whole situation. Something wasn't quite right. As my kids and I sat in our car we discovered this mother and her son weren't homeless. I had my son take a video where I took screenshots of this mother and her van. Before we left, we watched the mother leave her son in the van and it's unknown IF there were other adults in the van, but just sketchy all around. In the end, I just hope the Gourmet food made their bellies full, but next time I will just avoid this particular Panda Express location.
Whenever I come to this place to eat something I like it, because when I try each dish I love it and I really don't complain about it, it also gives us a very quiet place and everything. But sometimes we don't have very good service or they give us little food and they don't give us a good portion of each dish, but that is if the food is delicious. I hope to come back soon. 😎😀
Terrible portion size, customer service is poor. I asked for fresh batch of food that came out. They served me the old scraps. I just left didnt even pay.
I placed an order through the app, a very simple 1 item order. They put the wrong food in. I complained on through the app and did not receive any response. As you can see, this is NOT Orange chicken in the box...
