About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a familiar name in the Chinese Restaurant category, located at 26841 Aliso Creek Rd Space A, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656, USA. This particular branch serves the local community with a variety of American Chinese cuisine options, typically available for both dine-in and takeout. You can contact them at (949) 362-2888 or their mobile number, +1 949-362-2888, for inquiries about their menu or to place an order. However, recent customer reviews suggest potential issues with pricing, order accuracy, portion sizes, and customer service that local users may want to consider.

Based on the available feedback from real customers, the experience at this Panda Express location in Aliso Viejo appears to be notably negative. One customer reported two separate incidents where they felt they were unfairly charged. In the first instance, they claimed to have been upcharged to a "big plate" by the addition of two half orders of chow mein, even though they seemingly ordered items that should have fit on a smaller plate. To verify this, the customer returned a second time and again reported being charged for a "big plate" despite ordering only two items and a side. Adding to their dissatisfaction, they stated that the receipt incorrectly listed fried rice and chow mein as purchased items, which they did not order. This customer strongly advised others to avoid this location, alleging that they are "scamming everyone" due to these perceived overcharges and order inaccuracies.

Another customer, who claimed to have been a patron for five years, expressed their intent not to return due to a decline in customer service. They recounted an experience where they ordered a bowl with a premium entree (Black pepper sirloin, which incurred an extra charge). Upon noticing that the portion size of the entree was smaller than usual, they requested a larger plate. The employee's reaction was described as displeased, and instead of offering a larger plate, the employee allegedly offered a small side of the entree. Despite the customer reiterating their preference for a plate, the employee continued to show displeasure before finally transferring the food. The customer further noted that the food appeared to have been carelessly thrown onto the plate, leaving the edges stained and messy. When this was pointed out to the employee, along with a comment about the poor treatment of customers and their negative attitude, the employee reportedly did not address the concern but instead went to a coworker and began speaking negatively about the customer. This experience, for which the customer paid over $13, left them feeling poorly treated and resulted in their decision to cease being a customer.

These two detailed negative reviews paint a concerning picture of the operations at this particular Panda Express in Aliso Viejo. The allegations of upcharging and incorrect order entries suggest potential issues with the handling of transactions and order taking. The complaints about small portion sizes, especially for premium items, raise questions about the value provided to customers. Furthermore, the accounts of rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff, including visible displeasure at customer requests and speaking negatively about customers to coworkers, indicate significant shortcomings in customer service.

While Panda Express is generally known for its quick service and consistent menu across its various locations, these reviews highlight a potential deviation from those standards at this Aliso Viejo branch. The issues reported are not minor inconveniences but rather involve financial discrepancies and disrespectful treatment of customers, which can severely impact the overall dining experience and customer loyalty.

Given the nature of the complaints, it is difficult to ascertain any positive features or aspects of this specific location from the provided information. The reviews focus almost entirely on negative experiences related to pricing, order accuracy, and customer service. Therefore, it is challenging to provide an objective introduction that balances positive and negative aspects based solely on this feedback.

It is also important to note that the provided information does not include any details about the restaurant's environment, such as cleanliness or ambiance. Similarly, there is no mention of any promotional offers or special deals that might be available at this location. Therefore, we cannot comment on these aspects based on the given customer reviews.

In conclusion, the recent customer feedback for the Panda Express located at 26841 Aliso Creek Rd in Aliso Viejo, CA, is overwhelmingly negative. Customers have reported issues with being unfairly charged, receiving incorrect orders, experiencing smaller than expected portion sizes (especially for premium items), and encountering rude and unprofessional customer service. These accounts suggest significant problems with the operational practices and staff conduct at this particular branch. Local users considering dining at this location should be aware of these serious concerns raised by previous customers. Without any positive feedback or information about the environment or promotions, it is challenging to recommend this specific Panda Express based solely on the provided reviews. Potential customers may want to consider these experiences before deciding to visit.

They up charged me to a big plate by adding two half orders of Chow Mein. So I went back a second time to test it out and yet again they charged me for a “big plate” when I only ordered 2 items and a side. This time on the receipt, they put down I purchased fried rice and chow mein, which I didn’t. DONT GO HERE. THEY ARE SCAMMING EVERYONE

I have been a customer for 5 years but not anymore, lately their customer service has been bad and I will not be returning to this place.I ordered a bowl, but when I saw that the portion of the entrée was smaller than usual ( I ordered Black pepper sirloin that is + $1.50 ) , I asked for a larger plate. The employee looked displeased and told me she would give me a small side of entree instead. I told her I preferred the plate, but she made another displeased expression , I repeated that I wanted a plate. When she finally transferred my food, it looked as if she had just thrown it onto the plate, leaving the edges stained and messy. I pointed this out and told her that this was not a good way to treat customers, that she shouldn't have that attitude. Instead of addressing my concern, she walked over to her coworker and started speaking negatively about me., I paid more than $ 13 dls .

Few things which I found wrong and weird. 1. If you're going to correct an employee, don't do it in front of customers. It's embarrassing and humiliating to the employee. 2. Don't keep opening and closing a customer's plate if there's nothing you're adding to it. It comes off a weird when you're laughing and smiling at it while you're doing it. 3. Don't stick the scooper back into the customer's food as they're about to pay. Isn't that a health code violation? I assume the black shirt means some sort of leadership position. This is towards the short female who was correcting the employee in front of everyone.

They’re a little skimpy on portions. I’d recommend the noodles over the rice. The mushroom chicken I got on my plate only had 1 piece of chicken. Tasty food but corners are cut here and there.
