About Panda Express

Panda Express, situated at 2401 Agnew Rd #741-a, Santa Clara, CA 95054, USA, is a Chinese restaurant known for serving typical Chinese American fast food. You can contact them at (408) 970-9232 or their mobile number, +1 408-970-9232. This particular Panda Express location is noted by reviewers for its convenience, likely due to its placement within or near an amusement park. However, it's important for local users to be aware of potential differences in pricing and portion sizes compared to other Panda Express outlets.

The environment of this Panda Express location is likely consistent with the chain's standard fast-food setup. Customers can generally expect a casual and efficient atmosphere geared towards quick service. Given its location within or near an amusement park, the environment might be bustling and oriented towards serving a high volume of customers looking for a quick meal. While specific details about seating or décor are not provided in the reviews, Panda Express typically offers a functional dining area for those who wish to eat on-site, in addition to catering to takeout orders.

In terms of services, Panda Express primarily operates on a fast-food model, emphasizing quick service and takeout. Customers typically order at a counter and receive their food shortly thereafter. The review mentioning a 10-15 minute wait time suggests that during busy periods, there might be a short queue. This location also participates in dining plans, as one reviewer noted that a dining plan option offers a bowl with one entrée and a side. This could be a relevant service for individuals using a specific amusement park's dining program. While delivery is not explicitly mentioned in these reviews, Panda Express as a chain often partners with third-party delivery services, so it might be available at this location as well.

The features of this Panda Express are consistent with the broader chain, focusing on familiar Chinese American dishes. According to one review, the food is "Decent Typical Chinese American Food." The reviewer specifically mentioned ordering Half-&-Half Chow Mein, Fried Rice, with Orange Chicken, and Beef Broccoli, which are popular staples on the Panda Express menu. This suggests that customers can expect the standard array of well-known dishes at this location.

However, a key feature to note, as highlighted by a reviewer, is that the portions at this location may be smaller and the prices higher compared to a Panda Express situated just six minutes away outside the amusement park. This is an important consideration for local users who might have access to other Panda Express locations. The justification for the potentially higher price is attributed to its location within an amusement park, where convenience often comes at a premium.

Another feature mentioned is the availability of a dining plan option, which includes a bowl with one entrée and a side. This could be a cost-effective option for those utilizing the amusement park's dining plan. Vegetarians are also noted to have the option of requesting a full side portion when using the dining plan, which is a positive feature for those with dietary restrictions.

The menu at this Panda Express will likely include their most popular items such as:

  • Orange Chicken: One of their signature dishes, typically featuring battered and fried chicken pieces coated in a sweet and tangy orange-flavored sauce.
  • Beef Broccoli: Tender beef slices and broccoli florets tossed in a savory brown sauce.
  • Chow Mein: Stir-fried wheat noodles with vegetables and often a choice of protein.
  • Fried Rice: Rice stir-fried with eggs, vegetables, and often a choice of protein.
  • Kung Pao Chicken: A spicy stir-fry with chicken, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers.
  • Sweet Fire Chicken Breast: Another popular chicken dish with a sweet and spicy glaze.
  • Teriyaki Chicken: Grilled chicken glazed with a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce.
  • Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls: Crispy fried appetizers with vegetable or meat fillings.

Given that one reviewer ordered Half-&-Half Chow Mein and Fried Rice as a side, it is common for Panda Express to allow customers to combine different side options. The availability of these standard menu items makes it a familiar choice for those accustomed to American Chinese fast food.

Currently, the provided reviews do not mention any specific promotional information for this particular Panda Express location. However, Panda Express as a chain frequently offers various promotions, such as limited-time offers on new dishes, family meal deals, or discounts through their mobile app or online ordering. Local users might want to check the Panda Express website or app for any promotions specific to this Santa Clara location or the broader chain.

For local users in Santa Clara, CA, particularly those visiting or located near the 2401 Agnew Rd area, this Panda Express offers a convenient option for typical Chinese American fast food. Its location within or near an amusement park provides easy access for park visitors. However, it is important to be aware that the prices might be higher and the portion sizes smaller compared to other Panda Express locations outside the park. For those using an amusement park dining plan, the bowl option with an entrée and a side is available, with a full side portion offered to vegetarians upon request. While the food is described as decent and familiar, the potential for longer lines at night, as mentioned in one review, might be a consideration during peak hours.

In conclusion, the Panda Express at 2401 Agnew Rd #741-a, Santa Clara, CA, provides standard Chinese American fast food in a convenient location, likely within or near an amusement park. While the food is considered decent, customers should be aware that prices may be higher and portions smaller than at other locations of the same chain. A dining plan option is available, offering a bowl with one entrée and a side, with accommodations for vegetarians. Service is generally quick, though wait times can increase during busy periods. For any specific promotions or menu details, contacting the store directly at (408) 970-9232 or checking the Panda Express website or app is recommended.

Decent Typical Chinese American Food, I got Half-&-Half Chow Mein, Fried Rice, with Orange Chicken, and Beef Broccoli. Price is Justified for being in an Amusement Park. Wait Time varies but for me I waited about 10-15 minutes with my friends.

The food here is similar to any other Panda Express, but the portions are smaller and pricier than the location just 6 minutes away (outside the park). The dining plan offers a bowl with one entrée and a side. While portion sizes can vary, vegetarians can ask for a full side portion. It's a decent option, though lines are usually long at night.

The service is good for a restaurant in an amusement park. They have limited entrees(4 different kinds) and they DO NOT supply you with the same amount of food as a regular location. The prices are also higher than out of theme park locations.

Good food and good service . Now the food servings unsatisfactory When you pay for a regular plate and they give you literally half the amount. Do not use your season dinning pass unless you want to get the smallest Panda Express you have ever seen . If we’re ever served this portions at any other location you have to request to talk to their manager in charge.

The bowl that comes with the season meal is getting smaller and smaller. Now they only give you like 3 bites of noodles and 4 pieces of meat
