About Panda Express

Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant located at 414 8th Ave in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. As a well-known chain, this location offers a variety of Chinese-inspired dishes in a fast-food setting. For those who have never tried Panda Express before, some customers have reported positive initial experiences, highlighting the friendly and helpful staff.

The menu at Panda Express features several popular items. The Blazing Bullion Chicken is noted for being "nice and spicy" and, along with the Orange Chicken, is described as "absolutely delicious." Customers also enjoy the vegetable fried rice, which contains both egg and various vegetables. For egg roll enthusiasts, Panda Express offers two options: vegetable and chicken, with at least one reviewer finding the chicken egg roll to be "really good."

One recurring critique from customers is the lack of sauce provided with takeout orders. This is something to be aware of if you plan to enjoy your meal off-premises.

It's also important to note that some reviewers have mentioned potential issues during busy periods at this location. There are reports of the restaurant becoming rushed, which may lead to undercooked food. This could be attributed to management or staffing levels. Additionally, one customer observed the restaurant starting to close significantly early, with seating being put away two hours before the official closing time.

Despite these concerns, many customers seem to enjoy the food and the variety of options available at Panda Express. If you are looking for a quick and convenient Chinese meal in Midtown Manhattan, Panda Express offers a range of familiar and flavorful dishes.

I have never tried Panda Express before but when I did my experience has really good the staff was very friendly and helpful the food is delicious got different options and I got the blazing bullion chicken with the orange chicken and vegetable fried rice but the vegetable fried rice has egg in it and vegetables in it which is amazing.. The blazing bouillon chicken is nice and spicy and the food is absolutely delicious I just wish they would give u double the portions LOL.. Now as far as the egg rolls there's two different options vegetable and chicken which are both good but I have never tried a chicken egg roll and I could say that it was really good. My only critique about this place is that they don't give you any sauce when they put the food in the bag.

When this location gets busy. They tend to rush and undercook the food which is not cool. Either poor management or short staff I'm not sure what the problem is. They also start closing the restaurant way too early. 2 hours before closing and half the seats were put away.

As someone who tried some good asian food this is an absolute disappointment. I'm really sorry because the food looked tasty and I expected probably way too much from it. I wouldn't come here again, even for half the price.

Teriyaki chicken was amazing and quite authentic! It was tender, packed full of flavor, and it was freshly made. This branch also has really nice minimal decor and it is well maintained cleanliness wise. Staff were very friendly and efficient as well!
