About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 15842 1st Ave S in Burien, Washington, is a well-known Chinese Restaurant chain offering a convenient and fast-food style approach to American Chinese cuisine. You can reach this Burien location at (206) 248-1888 or +1 206-248-1888 for any inquiries.

As a prominent brand in the Chinese fast-food sector, Panda Express is recognized for its quick service and a menu featuring popular dishes that cater to a broad audience. This Burien location aims to provide the standard Panda Express experience, focusing on efficiency and accessibility for customers seeking a quick and satisfying meal.

Based on customer reviews, the experience at this Panda Express location appears to be generally positive regarding food quality and the dining environment. One reviewer specifically mentioned that Panda Express is one of their favorites, highlighting the combination of price and food quality as unbeatable. Another customer consistently found the food to be "fresh and delicious," also noting the hard work and courtesy of the staff. The presence of a "nice and clean spacious dining area with booths" suggests that customers who choose to dine in can expect a comfortable and well-maintained environment.

However, it is important to acknowledge a significant negative experience reported by a regular customer. This detailed account describes an encounter with an individual claiming to be a manager named Kim, who allegedly behaved unprofessionally and made false accusations. The customer reported being screamed at, having their vehicle photographed without permission, and being demanded to leave the premises for reasons they believe were unfounded. This incident starkly contrasts with the otherwise positive mentions of courteous staff and raises serious concerns about customer service and management at this specific location. The customer also expressed their intention to contact corporate regarding this behavior and indicated they would no longer be a regular patron.

Despite this serious complaint, other feedback suggests that the food consistently meets the expected Panda Express standards of freshness and taste. While specific dishes were not mentioned in the general positive reviews, Panda Express is widely known for its popular items such as Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, and Chow Mein. These are likely available at this Burien location and contribute to the positive experiences highlighted by some customers.

The mention of a "nice and clean spacious dining area with booths" indicates that the restaurant provides a comfortable space for customers who wish to eat their meals on-site. This suggests that Panda Express in Burien is not solely focused on takeout but also offers a welcoming environment for dine-in customers.

Regarding services, Panda Express primarily operates as a fast-food restaurant, offering quick service for both dine-in and takeout orders. Customers can likely expect to order at a counter and receive their food promptly. The negative review mentions an interaction that suggests a lack of effective problem resolution at the local level, which is a point of concern regarding their service quality in certain situations.

Features of Panda Express as a chain include its consistent menu, focus on popular American Chinese dishes, and efficient service model. The positive reviews for this Burien location align with these general features, highlighting fresh and delicious food delivered by a seemingly hardworking team. However, the alleged behavior of the individual claiming to be a manager, as detailed in the negative review, stands out as a significant negative feature that could deter potential customers.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for this particular Panda Express location in the provided text. Panda Express as a brand often has national or regional promotions, which may or may not be applicable at this specific store. Local users interested in any special offers or discounts should check the Panda Express website or contact the Burien location directly.

In conclusion, Panda Express at 15842 1st Ave S in Burien, WA, generally receives positive feedback for its fresh and tasty food, reasonable prices, and clean dining area. The staff is often described as courteous and hardworking. However, a significant incident involving an individual claiming to be a manager and exhibiting highly unprofessional behavior raises serious concerns about customer service and management at this specific location. While many customers seem to have positive experiences aligning with the brand's reputation for quality and efficiency, potential visitors should be aware of the reported negative encounter. For those seeking familiar and convenient American Chinese fast food in a clean environment, this Panda Express location may be a suitable option, but the importance of professional and respectful customer service from all staff members, especially those in leadership roles, cannot be overstated.

Stopping here as a regular customer to get food knowing Jay. For the past years, I have never had an issue until now. You got this weirdo, so she claims to be a manager coming out from Starbucks to the side building of Panda Express her name is KIM screams trying to take a picture of my truck without my permission for something we didn't do bad demanding us to leave. Like, who are you and who hired you as a manager demanding us to leave making false accusations stopping to smoke a cigarette in the corner. You need to be retrained instead of making false verbal accusations on people thinking your accusations were valid and then contacting Jay stating false lies to him over the phone. KIM, you are an example of good customers not returning to this location because u acting like i done something bad screaming and making things up in your tiny brains. I will be contacting corporate on behalf of your behavior. Also, if you are a manager, why don't you have a manager tag on the way Jay would so again? You're just an employee who needs to be retrained how to have customer service. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment I received during my recent visit to your establishment. As a regular customer, I have always been satisfied with the service and food provided, particularly when Jay is working. However, my latest experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of an individual claiming to be a manager named Kim. On my most recent visit, Kim emerged from the Starbucks adjacent to your location on the side building and approached me in a confrontational manner. She began screaming and attempting to take a picture of my vehicle without my permission, citing unfounded accusations. I was shocked and taken aback by her behavior, which was not only unprofessional but also harassing. Kim's actions were completely unwarranted, and I took great offense to her false accusations and verbal abuse. Furthermore, I was dismayed to learn that she had contacted Jay, a manager staff member. I have come to trust and relayed false information about the incident. This not only reflects poorly on Kim but also undermines the trust I have in your establishment. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, particularly when I have done nothing wrong. Kim's behavior was a stark contrast to the excellent service I have come to expect from your location. Her actions, including screaming, making false accusations, and attempting to take pictures without permission, are unacceptable and demonstrate a clear lack of customer service skills. I am also concerned that Kim does not appear to have a manager's tag or identification, which raises questions about her authority and legitimacy as a manager. It is imperative that your staff, particularly those in management positions, are properly trained and equipped to handle customer interactions in a professional and respectful manner. I intend to contact your corporate office to report this incident and express my disappointment with the treatment I received. I hope that you will take immediate action to address Kim's behavior and provide her with the necessary training to ensure that customers are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take prompt action to rectify the situation. Kim should be fired as she's not a great fit for Panda Express within her discriminating against me and my partner refusing to have us order food. We will not be regular customers here anymore. The owner of this place needs to see this unacceptable type of behavior Kim claiming she owns the store.

Went through the drive-through all I ordered was crab Ragoons . Bought them at 5:30 PM They were so old they were soggy. This place is gone way downhill this last six months! I don’t expect to order what should be crispy fried food and it to be soggy because it’s set under the lights for so long and during dinner hour wow .

We ordered several dishes and all were perfect. The chicken wasn't dried out and everything was flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price!

January 16th 2025- I ordered closer to closing time and as I have worked in food service I understand that you’re doing closing tasks, but can you explain to me why y’all think it’s okay to give out STALE ass cream cheese rangoons, cold and hard orange chicken and teriyaki chicken that y’all didn’t even bother to cut and then only gave out a flimsy fork?! You’re JOKING😅 First and last time I’ll be coming here. I get that everyone wants to go home, but I payed the exact same amount as every other person throughout the day, therefore I should receive the same quality of food. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in this location:/
