About Panda Express

Located at 1402 164th St SW #301 in Lynnwood, Washington, Panda Express serves as a familiar option within the Chinese Restaurant category, providing a range of American Chinese fast food dishes. This chain establishment offers a convenient dining experience for locals seeking quick and accessible meals. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance are not extensively described by reviewers, it generally aligns with the typical fast-casual setting associated with the Panda Express brand, likely emphasizing efficiency and functionality for a quick bite.

Based on recent customer feedback, the service experience at this Lynnwood location of Panda Express appears to have some inconsistencies. While not all interactions are negative, some reviewers have noted instances where their requests or preferences were seemingly disregarded. For example, one customer mentioned repeated experiences of asking for fewer bell peppers in certain entrees, only to have their request ignored. Another recurring point of feedback concerns the upselling of drinks and donations by one of the staff members, which some customers find repetitive.

Efficiency in the ordering process is generally expected from a fast-food establishment like Panda Express. However, one reviewer noted instances where, if a specific item was out of stock and not immediately available, staff members might forget about the waiting customer unless prompted. This suggests a potential area for improvement in communication and order management, particularly during busy periods.

The hallmark of Panda Express lies in its menu of American Chinese cuisine, featuring popular dishes that have become widely recognized. However, recent reviews from this Lynnwood location indicate some inconsistencies in the food quality and portion sizes. One recurring concern revolves around the "small entree" option, which some customers feel is not adequately filled and is disproportionately small for its price. Similarly, the portioning of side dishes, such as the "super greens" and fried rice, has been described as inconsistent. In the case of super greens, oversized vegetable pieces have led to smaller overall portions, and the ratio of fried rice in bowl orders appears to vary significantly.

Specific dishes have also received mixed feedback. The "Beijing beef," a breaded meat dish, was noted by one reviewer to sometimes contain an excessive amount of non-meat filler, affecting the overall quality and value. Another customer reported a particularly negative experience with a recent order where the chow mein consisted primarily of cabbage and the few noodles present tasted burnt. The extra shrimp ordered as a side was described as soggy and overpriced, leading to significant disappointment with the overall meal quality, especially considering the total cost.

These reviews collectively suggest that while Panda Express in Lynnwood offers the convenience and familiarity of a national chain, the execution in terms of food consistency and service attentiveness may vary. Customers who frequent this location might experience fluctuations in portion sizes, ingredient quality, and the responsiveness of the staff to specific requests. Therefore, while it remains an accessible option for those seeking a quick American Chinese meal, it's advisable for patrons to be aware of the potential for inconsistency based on recent feedback.

Given the information available, there are no specific promotions or special offers mentioned for this particular Panda Express location in Lynnwood. As a chain restaurant, Panda Express often features national or regional promotions, which may be worth checking on their official website or in-store. However, based solely on the provided reviews, the focus remains on the consistency and quality of the standard menu offerings.

In conclusion, Panda Express at 1402 164th St SW #301 in Lynnwood, WA, provides a convenient option for individuals looking for familiar American Chinese fast food. However, recent customer experiences indicate potential inconsistencies in food quality, portion sizes, and service attentiveness. While it offers the accessibility and recognizable menu of a national chain, local users might want to consider the reported variations when making their dining choices. For those prioritizing speed and a well-known menu, Panda Express remains an option, but the feedback suggests that the experience may not always meet expectations in terms of consistency.

The food here is hit or miss. Buying a small entree is never worth it because it's not fully filled up and is smaller than my fist. When I've ordered super greens as a side, sometimes the pieces are way too big. There's been a cabbage piece or more and also broccoli that were bigger than my mouth, which meant they gave me less because they only give a tiny scoop each time for half sides. Other times, the veggies have been the right size. They are constantly running out of super greens probably because the pieces are so huge (other than high demand). Sometimes the breaded meats like Beijing beef have too many non-meat pieces (like fried corn starch), so everything is very inconsistent. Whenever I ask them to try to avoid giving me too many bell peppers from certain entrees, they disregard what I say and act like they don't understand me. When I order fried rice as my only side for bowls, I never know if I'll be getting a bowl that's filled halfway or less with fried rice or a lot of fried rice. When I ask for half fried rice, they only give me a tiny bit of fried rice and whatever my other half side is. One of the workers always asks if I want to add a drink and donate, which is tiring for me because if I wanted anything else, I would say so. I also didn't get any fortune cookies one time (should have gotten 2 for 2 bowls), but maybe it was a new or not so great worker because I could hear him getting questioned about whether he charged someone else for a bag or not. Also, if they're out of an item you're waiting for that's not coming out any time soon, they end up forgetting about you until you speak up.

I usually love ordering from this location, but today my order was barely edible. The chow mein was almost all cabbage and the few noodles that were in there tasted burnt. I got extra shrimp on the side , which cost extra, and they were soggy and not worth the price. Everything in my plate looked like it was from the bottom of the pans and out all day. Disappointed to say the least, not worth almost $30 :/

Always my go to panda spot, went in around 7pm, wasn't more crowded than it normally is, kitchen was behind on getting food to the front, on top of that they mixed up my order with the guy behind me. Seems like slowing down and paying attention would be beneficial. Save yourself and just go to Solid Teriyaki down the hill in the town center.

We usually come to this particular Panda Express because of the amazing customer service and the food quality. Unfortunately, I can not say that for today's visit. I ordered a lot of food because our son loves it and this is what he wanted for dinner. I asked my husband to pick up the pre-ordered/pre-paid food on his way home. When he got there he was 'waved off' as the lady turned around to do other stuff. She didn't ask for the name or even greet him like she should have, you know a smile with a how can I help you... then she CHARGED him for the bag! Keep in mind, I pre-ordered this online hours before and paid for it already. My husband stood there waiting for 15 minutes staring at our food before she finally came back and said, "oh, here is your food." Now let's talk about the fact that we got NO teriyaki sauce on or for our TERIYAKI CHICKEN and then the broccoli and beef I ordered...well let's just say that I way over paid for broccoli trees with very minimal beef! I'm beyond an angry customer! This was meant to be a special dinner and this place ruined it!!!
