About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known chain restaurant categorized as Chinese fast food, conveniently located at 7700 Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (zip code 73132). As part of a larger national brand, this Panda Express location offers a familiar menu of American-Chinese cuisine, typically served in a quick-service format for dine-in or takeout. You can contact this specific location by phone at (405) 720-6666 or via their mobile number, +1 405-720-6666.

Panda Express is recognized for its fast service and a menu featuring popular dishes such as orange chicken, beef and broccoli, and various fried rice and noodle options. It generally operates in a casual dining setting where customers order at a counter and can either eat in the provided dining area or take their food to go. Being a chain, Panda Express aims for consistency across its locations, but customer experiences can still vary based on factors like service and food preparation at individual restaurants.

Recent customer reviews for this Oklahoma City location of Panda Express offer a glimpse into what local users might expect. One customer reported a positive experience, highlighting the "great" customer service they received. They also found the food to be "delicious," although they noted that some of the entrées could have been warmer. This reviewer chose to eat in and found the dining room to be clean with adequate seating. Overall, they enjoyed their meal and specifically recommended trying the grilled teriyaki chicken for those who haven't. This review suggests that this Panda Express location can provide a pleasant dine-in experience with tasty food and good service.

However, another customer shared a significantly different and negative experience. This reviewer ordered a bowl of beef and broccoli with noodles and expressed disbelief at the composition of their order. They claimed that it consisted mostly of noodles with only seven small pieces of broccoli and a single small piece of beef. When they inquired about this and requested it be corrected, they were reportedly told that a bowl typically contained mostly noodles. This customer also mentioned ordering kung pao chicken, which they described as being "the exact same," meaning it contained "literally no protein." Based on this experience, this reviewer strongly advised against paying for dishes like beef and broccoli or, by extension, other protein-centric options, suggesting a significant lack of the advertised ingredients. This review raises serious concerns about the value and accuracy of the food preparation at this location, particularly regarding the protein content in certain dishes.

Considering these two recent reviews, there is a stark contrast in the experiences reported. One customer found the service excellent, the dining area clean, and the food delicious (albeit potentially not hot enough). They also offered a specific recommendation for the grilled teriyaki chicken. The other customer, however, reported a severe lack of protein in their beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken orders, leading to a very negative perception of the value and quality of the food for those dishes. This discrepancy suggests that the consistency of food preparation, particularly the ratio of ingredients in certain meals, might be an area of concern at this Panda Express location.

For local users in Oklahoma City considering this Panda Express on Northwest Expressway, it would be wise to take both of these experiences into account. If you are looking for a quick and convenient meal with potentially good customer service and a clean dining area, this location might be an option. The grilled teriyaki chicken seems to be a recommended item. However, the report of a significant lack of protein in the beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken is a serious issue for those ordering these or similar dishes. It might be prudent to be mindful of the ingredient ratios when ordering and perhaps inspect your meal before leaving the counter or drive-thru, if applicable.

As a platform providing objective information about local Chinese restaurants, even those that are part of larger chains, it is important to present all available feedback. In the case of this Panda Express location, the reviews highlight both positive aspects (service, cleanliness, taste of some items) and significant negative aspects (lack of advertised protein in certain dishes). This inconsistency suggests that the overall experience might vary depending on the specific dishes ordered and perhaps the time of the visit.

Panda Express typically offers services such as dine-in and takeout. As a fast-food chain, they often have a relatively quick service model. They are known for their steam-table setup where dishes are displayed and served cafeteria-style. While specific promotional information for this particular location is not available in the provided text, Panda Express as a brand frequently offers limited-time promotions and new menu items, which might be advertised in-store or online through their national website or app. Local users interested in any current specials should check with the store directly or the Panda Express website.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 7700 Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City offers Chinese fast food with dine-in and takeout options. Recent reviews indicate generally good customer service and a clean dining area. While one customer found the food delicious and recommended the grilled teriyaki chicken, another reported a severe lack of protein in their beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken orders. Local users should consider these mixed experiences when deciding whether to visit this location.

The customer service at this location was great. The food was delicious, although some of the entrées could have been warmer. We ate in, the dining room was clean, with adequate seating. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, pictures below of our food. If you haven't tried the grilled teriyaki chicken, I highly recommend do so.

We asked for a bowl of beef and broccoli with noodles. I am not lying when I say it was mostly noodles 7 broccoli and 1 small piece of beef. When I asked to get it corrected they said that’s what a bowl was, mostly noodles. So don’t pay for beef and broccoli. My kung pao chicken was the exact same. Literally no protein.

I got food from there earlier and didn’t like it, it takes like burnt wok, even smelled like it. I work from home and couldn’t go back to get it replaced as I was in my lunch break. When I finally got off and called to get it replaced, they told me no cause I don’t have the receipt. I was willing to bring in the plate and prove I did not eat it and I also offered to show the bank statement that I bought it from their location today. They still said no. Just sucks that because I don’t have a receipt they won’t remake the order. I wasn’t even asking for a refund. I’m just hungry bro.

This place used to be really good and the last few times I have tried it it's like the rice is burned and the chicken has been sitting out to long and doesn't taste good at all. I also tried the drive thru today and waited at the speaker for 5 min then pulled around walked in to order and asked is your drive thru not working and she said ya it's broke. my question is why not close it off or put a sign up so people aren't wasting their lunch hour sitting there. All this being said I won't be back.

I ordered the bigger plate and ordered beef and broccoli only to get a box filled with only broccoli. This store needs to work on consistency.
