About Panda Express

Welcome to the Panda Express located at 9013 N Fwy in Fort Worth, Texas. As a well-known chain in the Chinese Restaurant category, Panda Express typically offers a convenient and quick option for American Chinese cuisine. However, recent customer reviews for this specific location present a stark contrast in experiences, indicating potential inconsistencies in food quality and service that local users may want to consider.

One customer described their experience as "Absolutely the WORST PANDA EXPRESS I have ever had." This highly negative review detailed a significant wait time for multiple dishes, including ten minutes for beef and broccoli and an even longer twelve-minute wait for walnut shrimp, despite being initially told it would only take five minutes. The lo mein also involved a three-minute wait. According to this reviewer, the extended waiting did not result in freshly and properly cooked food; instead, they found it "disgusting 🤢," noting that "Nothing was cooked long enough, everything was rushed." Furthermore, they reported that the employees did not offer any apology or compensation for the long wait, such as a drink.

The same reviewer also commented on a perceived decline in portion sizes, stating that "Panda use to give big servings, now it’s the bare minimum." This suggests a potential issue with value for money at this location. Despite these significant criticisms regarding food quality, cooking, taste ("No taste at all"), and portion sizes, the reviewer did acknowledge that "this establishment is very clean and big in the inside." However, they concluded by emphasizing that the primary reason for visiting a restaurant, the food, was "horrible 👎🏽😐👎🏽!" They expressed disbelief at the poor quality, especially considering the $28 cost for two plates that their family could not eat, and compared it unfavorably to a different Panda Express location in River Oaks.

In contrast to this highly negative experience, another customer who visited Panda Express for the first time in over five years reported a positive encounter. They stated that "the food tasted exactly how I remembered it...," suggesting consistency with the chain's usual standards. This reviewer also found the "service was friendly and quick" and noted that "the dining area was clean," aligning with the other reviewer's observation about the cleanliness of the establishment. This positive feedback offers a different perspective, indicating that some customers do have satisfactory experiences at this location.

The environment of the Panda Express at 9013 N Fwy in Fort Worth appears to be clean and spacious, as mentioned by the negative reviewer ("very clean and big in the inside") and implied by the positive reviewer ("dining area was clean"). This suggests that the physical upkeep of the restaurant is maintained to a reasonable standard. However, the ambiance or overall dining experience beyond cleanliness is not detailed further in these reviews.

The services offered at this Panda Express location should include the standard fast-casual model of ordering at a counter, with options for dining in or taking away. The positive review mentions "friendly and quick" service, indicating that at least some customers experience efficient and pleasant interactions with the staff. However, the negative review describes a lack of attentiveness to customer wait times and no offers of apology or compensation for significant delays and poor food quality. This discrepancy suggests potential inconsistencies in service delivery.

The features of Panda Express as a chain typically include a menu of popular American Chinese dishes such as orange chicken, beef and broccoli, lo mein, and walnut shrimp, among others. However, the negative review indicates potential issues with the preparation and quality of these standard items at this specific location, with complaints about undercooked food and a lack of taste. The positive review, on the other hand, suggests that the expected flavors of the food are present for some customers. The portion sizes also seem to be a point of contention, with one reviewer finding them to be minimal, contrary to the chain's usual reputation.

Promotional information is not mentioned in either of the provided customer reviews. Panda Express often has national or regional promotions, but there is no specific mention of any offers at this Fort Worth location. Customers primarily focused on the fundamental aspects of food quality and service in their feedback.

In conclusion, the Panda Express located at 9013 N Fwy in Fort Worth, TX, has received mixed recent reviews. One customer reported a severely negative experience characterized by long wait times for poorly cooked and tasteless food, small portions, and a lack of customer service. In contrast, another customer found the food to taste as expected, the service to be friendly and quick, and the dining area clean. These conflicting accounts suggest potential inconsistencies in the operation of this restaurant. Local users considering this Panda Express location should be aware of the significant negative feedback regarding food quality and service, while also noting that some customers have had satisfactory experiences, particularly concerning cleanliness and potentially the taste of standard menu items. It may be prudent to exercise caution and perhaps consider recent experiences when making a dining decision.

Absolutely the WORST PANDA EXPRESS I have ever had. I had to wait 10 minutes on the beef and broccoli, another 5 minutes on the walnut shrimp, which ended up being 12 minutes longer than the 5 minutes they told me. The lo mein was a 3 minute wait, and all that time I spent waiting on them to cook the food, the food was disgusting 🤢! Nothing was cooked long enough, everything was rushed. The employees never offered me a drink for the long wait or anything. Panda use to give big servings, now it’s the bare minimum. Although this establishment is very clean and big in the inside, the food which is why customers come, is horrible 👎🏽😐👎🏽! I paid $28 for two plates, that my family and I couldn’t even eat. No taste at all, not cooked well (needed to cook longer), and small portions. The Panda Express in River Oaks would never!

This specific panda location used to sell fresh, good tasting food. Nowadays, for the past like more than 3 times I’ve bought from here, the food at this panda location tastes bland like its stayed on there for days and almost going bad and when you make a drive thru order it’s like they just reheat the food and sell it to you. If not that, then they’ve added something else to the food that makes it tastes soo bland and lacking taste or flavor. An absolute waste of money to buy from this location.

I do not recommend this location. We always go to the one in watagua and have never had any issues. This one happens to be closer and we tried it out on January 15. They not only gave my husband the wrong entree item, it included a RUBBER BAND!! We contacted corporate that same day and nearly a month later we still haven't received an apology or resolution. I do not recommend. We will not be back.

Purchased two kids meals orange chicken one with rice and one with chow mein. Got home and one was completely wrong. Manager replaced the meal however, due to me having to fight traffic to come back i really felt like she could have upgraded the meal to a small orange chicken and small chow mein so I asked for my troubles can I get a more on the kids meal so she scooped two more pieces wow Lol. I guess these young managers don’t know how to please their customers anymore. Just me venting for being inconvenienced.
