Based on recent customer reviews, this particular Panda Express location has received significant negative feedback regarding its services. One customer reported a situation where they paid for a pick-up order through the app but the order was not prepared, and they were allegedly denied a refund on-site, being instructed to wait until Monday for resolution. This review raises concerns about order management and immediate customer service issue resolution.
Another customer experienced a very long wait in the drive-thru, reporting a 15-minute wait just to place an order, followed by an additional 5-minute wait. This prompted the customer to walk into the restaurant for potentially faster service.
Upon entering the restaurant, the same customer observed multiple employees present, but only one actively working on fulfilling orders, suggesting potential inefficiency in service delivery.
For local users in Houston considering this Panda Express location, it is important to be aware of recent reports indicating potential issues with order fulfillment, customer service responsiveness, and significant wait times, particularly for drive-thru and pick-up orders. They will literally steal your money and laugh in your face about it. I paid $25 for my order for pick up through the app. Once it says it’s ready I head over. There is no sign of my order and no one knows what’s going on or how long it would take for me to get my food. I asked for a refund and the “kitchen lead” a tall gentleman with long black hair and glasses, laughed in my face and said it wasn’t possible. So I didn’t get any food but they get to keep my money? Make it make sense! I was told I’d have to wait until Monday because there was no one that could issue me a refund in the store until Monday. So y’all let your store run all weekend with no manager or assistant manager? If you don’t have a manager there then who is closing the store at the end of the night? Because they should be able to get a refund if they have the authority to close the store. So I hope they make good use of my $25 dollars since they obviously need it so bad. Do not waste your time and just go to the one down the street.
Crazy long wait in the drive thru. Waited over 15 minutes just to order. Once I got the order speaker and told wait for another 5 minutes. Ended up walking. To get faster service. Upon walking in counted at least 6 employees with an additional one taking a break. Out all of them one was actually fulfilling orders.
I ordered a meal ask for a sample of something I’ve never tasted and they told me no we don’t do samples but the Hispanic couple before got too . I suspected since the place only had hispanic employees they were only giving out to there kind .. I did feel racially profiled here .. Employee Brittany told me this specifically and Diana didn’t offer , Ligi didn’t neither . Thinking about taking this matter to corporate.
This is the worst drive through in Houston Texas for any Panda chain. The boy at the window insults discriminated and plays horrible games. I could not get food and glad not to pay as it happens too many times. He is not Okay. He is horrible. So is their food Skip it and try many other choices! Loser.
The chow mein was undercooked or not mixed through (some noodles were coated in the sauce, others were pale & maybe added on top so uneven noodles)! But the worse was the papaya/peach tea which had a weird after effect, it left my palate so rough (not sure what kind of chemicals & fake sweeteners they're using)! P..S I told the Hispanic ""manager"" which didn't do anything & said "people like the tea". I said I did before & I love teas in general but this one gives a bad texture to your mouth. She seemed young & didn't know how to handle the situation, then after a while she said " you Want another drink" which I declined politely
