About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a well-known chain restaurant located at 1000 E University Ave in Laramie, Wyoming (WY 82071), USA. As a prominent establishment within the "Chinese Restaurant" category, Panda Express offers a fast-food approach to American Chinese cuisine, providing a convenient option for individuals and families seeking quick and familiar flavors. Based on recent customer feedback, Panda Express in Laramie generally offers food that is considered good and reasonably priced, making it a popular choice, especially for those in the vicinity of the University Avenue location, such as students. However, some recent reviews point out potential issues with order accuracy and consistency in dish preparation, alongside a change in beverage service.

As a fast-food chain, the environment of Panda Express is typically characterized by a casual and efficient setting designed for quick service. Customers can generally expect a brightly lit and functional space where they can place their orders at a counter, observe the food being prepared in some locations, and either take their meals to go or dine in at the available tables. The focus is on speed and convenience, catering to individuals looking for a quick meal during lunch breaks, between classes, or while on the move. While specific details about the décor or ambiance of the Laramie location are not provided in the reviews, it is likely consistent with the standard Panda Express model of efficiency and functionality.

The primary service offered by Panda Express is fast-food style order and fulfillment. Customers typically approach a service counter to place their orders, selecting from a variety of pre-prepared dishes displayed behind glass. The food is then quickly assembled into the chosen meal format (e.g., bowls, plates, family meals) for immediate consumption or takeout. The reviews indicate that both dine-in and takeout options are utilized by customers at the Laramie location. One reviewer mentioned taking their order home, while another referenced eating between classes, suggesting both on-site and off-site dining are common. However, one significant service change noted in a review is that Panda Express no longer offers refills on beverages, which some customers may find disappointing.

A key feature of Panda Express is its standardized menu of popular American Chinese dishes, such as Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and various chow mein and fried rice options. The appeal lies in the familiarity and consistent taste across different locations. One reviewer in Laramie mentioned enjoying the Broccoli Beef on some occasions, noting that the portions were "okay" and the price was "pretty good" for regular experiences. This suggests that, generally, the food meets expectations for a fast-food Chinese restaurant in terms of taste and value.

However, recent feedback also highlights potential inconsistencies. One customer reported an issue with order accuracy, stating that their egg roll and rangoon were missing from their bag despite being charged for them. This indicates a potential lapse in quality control during the order fulfillment process, which can be frustrating for customers who discover the error after leaving the premises, especially considering the reviewer's reluctance to return due to parking issues. This experience underscores the importance for customers to verify their orders before leaving the restaurant.

Another instance of inconsistency involved the preparation of a specific dish. The reviewer who usually finds the Broccoli Beef to be "good" reported a recent experience where the dish was "only broccoli" with a lack of beef. They noted that while there is usually more broccoli than beef, this particular instance was an extreme imbalance and "a little disappointing." This suggests that the quality and ingredient ratios of dishes at the Laramie location may not always be consistent, which can impact customer satisfaction.

The issue of parking availability was also briefly mentioned by a customer who experienced a missing item in their order. They cited the "lack of parking available" as a reason for not returning to rectify the error. This suggests that parking at the 1000 E University Ave location in Laramie might sometimes be challenging, which could be a factor for local users, especially those intending to dine in or quickly pick up takeout orders.

Currently, the provided reviews do not contain any information about specific promotional offers or discounts being offered at the Panda Express in Laramie. Panda Express as a chain often has national or regional promotions, which may include limited-time offers on certain dishes, combo deals, or family meal discounts. Local users interested in such promotions are advised to check the official Panda Express website or inquire directly with the Laramie location by phone at (307) 766-6269 or +1 307-766-6269 to get the most up-to-date information on any available deals.

In conclusion, Panda Express at 1000 E University Ave in Laramie, Wyoming, offers a convenient and generally well-regarded option for American Chinese fast food. Its location near the university makes it a frequent choice for students and others in the area. While many customers find the food to be good and reasonably priced, recent feedback indicates potential issues with order accuracy and consistency in food preparation, such as missing items and imbalanced ingredients in dishes like Broccoli Beef. Additionally, customers should be aware that beverage refills are no longer offered. For local users seeking a quick and familiar American Chinese meal, Panda Express remains a viable option, but it may be prudent to double-check orders before leaving and be aware of potential inconsistencies in dish preparation and the no-refills policy. For information on current promotions, direct inquiry with the restaurant is recommended.

All qas good until i wanted my egg roll and ragoons and found that they did not add them to my bag even though i was charged for them. There were many employees at work so they were not under staffed. Due to the fact were took our order home to eat and the lack of parking available i choose not to return to Panda with the error. I will check my order in the future, before i leave.

I get food here sometimes between classes. Most of the time, it's good, the portions are okay, and the price is pretty good. The most recent time, I ordered Broccoli Beef, and it was only broccoli. Usually, there's more broccoli than beef, but that's just crazy. I'll probably come back because it's convenient, but it's a little disappointing. Oh, and they dont do refills anymore, so that's a real bummer.

Wouldn't let me order when they ran out of Chow mein and would be refilled in a few minutes.

They've been great every time we make the trip to campus for Panda instead of going to Cheyenne. Keep up the good work. Wish we had a standalone in town that was easier to access
