About Panda Express
Welcome to Panda Express, a well-recognized establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, situated at 22910 W. Vanowen St Fallbrook Center, West Hills, CA 91307, USA. This particular location has garnered positive attention from local customers, often being cited as one of the better Panda Express restaurants in the area. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the environment, services, features, and customer experiences, synthesized from recent online feedback, to help local users make informed decisions about dining here.
The environment of this Panda Express in West Hills, located within the Fallbrook Center, is consistent with the typical fast-casual setup of the chain. It is designed for efficient service and caters to individuals and families seeking a quick and convenient meal. While specific details about the interior ambiance are not provided, it can be generally expected to be clean and functional, with a focus on order processing and customer flow. Being part of a shopping center, it offers easy accessibility for shoppers and local residents. The primary purpose of the environment is to facilitate a fast and straightforward dining experience.
In terms of services, this Panda Express location excels in several areas, according to customer reviews. A significant highlight is the efficiency of their pickup order system, which is described as "pretty fast," making it a convenient option for those who prefer to order ahead and quickly collect their food. The staff is consistently praised for being "kind and patient" and "genuinely nice," indicating a strong commitment to customer service. One reviewer specifically commended Julia and Emily for their exceptional service, with Julia going above and beyond to ensure the order was complete despite a slight wait. This level of attentiveness suggests a positive and customer-focused service culture at this branch.
A notable feature of this location is their willingness to prepare food fresh upon request. This demonstrates a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, allowing patrons to enjoy their favorite dishes made to order, ensuring optimal freshness and taste. This proactive approach to accommodating customer preferences sets this location apart and contributes to its positive reputation among local diners.
The menu at this Panda Express features the standard array of popular Chinese-American dishes that the chain is known for. A standout item, consistently praised in the reviews, is the Orange Chicken, which is described as being "always on point." This indicates a reliable and well-prepared version of this signature dish, making it a recommended choice for those familiar with Panda Express or looking to try a popular favorite. While other specific dishes are not detailed in the provided reviews, customers can expect the usual selection of entrees, sides, and appetizers that Panda Express typically offers.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks mentioned by reviewers. One is that food can run out quickly, especially later in the evening. According to one customer, if arriving after 8 PM, there's a possibility that certain dishes may not be available, and the staff may not prepare additional batches unless specifically asked. This suggests that while the food is generally good, availability might be limited during off-peak hours. Another con is that the restaurant can get busy, leading to "extremely long wait times." This is a common occurrence at popular fast-food establishments, particularly during peak lunch and dinner hours. Customers planning to visit during these times should be prepared for potential delays.
Despite these drawbacks, the overall sentiment towards this Panda Express in West Hills is positive. It is consistently referred to as one of the better locations in the valley, primarily due to the quality of the food, particularly the Orange Chicken, and the friendly and efficient service provided by the staff. The willingness to prepare fresh food upon request is also a significant advantage that enhances the dining experience.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information provided in the reviews. Panda Express often has ongoing promotions or limited-time offers that may be available at this location. Local users interested in potential discounts or special deals are advised to check the official Panda Express website or app, or to inquire directly at the restaurant by calling (818) 610-8616 or +1 818-610-8616. These resources may provide information on current promotions that could enhance the value of dining at this location.
In conclusion, the Panda Express located in Fallbrook Center in West Hills stands out as a well-regarded option within the chain, appreciated by local customers for its consistently good food, especially the Orange Chicken, and the kind and efficient service. The added benefit of being able to request fresh food preparation further enhances its appeal. However, potential customers should be aware that food availability might be limited later in the evening, and the restaurant can experience significant wait times during busy periods. Overall, for those seeking a reliable and enjoyable Panda Express experience in the West Hills area, this location comes highly recommended, especially if visiting before the late evening hours.

Definitely one of the better Panda Express restaurants in the valley. I will do a pros and cons for this review to give a faster and more detailed explanation. Pros - Food is always on point especially the orange chicken - Workers are kind and patient - Pickup order system is pretty fast - Will make food fresh (if requested) Cons - Food runs out quick. If it’s later at night, they won’t make anything additional unless asked. - It can get busy which means extremely long wait times. Overall, easily one of the better PAnda express restaurants. Just make sure to come before 8 or expect the food to be gone.
I love this location bc they are as efficient as possible and all the staff are genuinely nice. Julia and Emily helped me today and they were both so amazing! Julia went above and beyond and made sure my order has everything bc I had to wait a little for the first time!
This is the best run Panda Express I’ve ever been to. Clean, quick and most importantly FULL OF ENERGY! wow, they greet everyone that comes in, cook up whatever that’s out asap, makes sure everyone in the back works the front when there’s a line. Service is friendly and fast paced. Great job to the manager, everyone is working hard! Food wise, by now you need to know it’s not really Chinese: it’s Panda Express.
Their was a worker named patty female she was very rude to me she snatched away a tray I had gotten she snatched it from my had and said I am not allowed to have that We also wanted to use the bathroom but they told us to wait we had to wait 5 minutes just for someone to open the bathroom door because they would not give us the code and the lady was very rude to us
Foods OK for Chinese food. Not bad, not amazing. They used to let you try a few things before you picked them as an entree. For as much as they want for such small sides I want to make sure I like it before I'm stuck with. I don't think that's too much to ask and is not uncommon of a thing. For that reason I give the service a lower rating and I'm less inclined to come back. Food isn't cheap and with the increase in prices I expect as good if not better service than it used to be. Though the lady did tell me no with a smile and was polite about it so I will give them that. Too add insult to injury we purchased a family meal and wanted to purchase a promotional 1.50 extra box side. The deal was, if you buy a plate or bowl you can add a small side for 1.50. But apparently that doesn't apply if you buy a family meal? Overall it was just a frustrating and obnoxious experience for me and ultimately will serve to dissuade me from visiting Panda Express, and this one specifically, in the future.
