About Panda Express

Welcome to Panda Express, a popular Chinese Restaurant now accessible to local users in US. Although our original address is 3792 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456, USA, we are bringing our familiar Chinese-American cuisine to US.

Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Panda Express appear to be somewhat varied. One customer who placed a mobile order for pickup at the Virginia Beach location shortly after its opening on November 20, 2024, reported positive customer service. They received a proactive call about a missing entree and were offered a complimentary drink while waiting for a replacement. This suggests that in certain situations, the staff is willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

However, other reviews highlight significant issues with order accuracy, particularly with delivery services. One customer reported that a DoorDash delivery arrived with missing items (walnut shrimp replaced with white rice). While the restaurant was willing to replace the missing item, the customer had to travel to the store to pick it up and only received an apology, without the option of redelivery.

An update from the same customer detailed a subsequent delivery order where items were again missing. Communication issues with the delivery driver, potentially due to a language barrier requiring Google Translate, were also noted. Upon contacting the store, the manager, Junior, reportedly asked if the customer had checked the bag before the driver left, despite it being a delivery order. The resolution offered was to place another order and receive a complimentary drink, which the customer found unsatisfactory, emphasizing a desire for order accuracy rather than exceptional service.

The provided information does not offer specific details about the restaurant's environment or any ongoing promotional offers for the US market. However, Panda Express is generally known as a fast-food style restaurant with a focus on quick service and a set menu of popular Chinese-American dishes.

When considering Panda Express in US, it's important to note the mixed customer feedback regarding order accuracy, especially with delivery. While some aspects of customer service have been praised, there appear to be inconsistencies in fulfilling orders correctly. For any inquiries or to place an order, you can contact the US phone number: (757) 274-0888 or mobile phone: +1 757-274-0888. Please be aware that these are US contact numbers. Local US contact information or specific details about their menu and ordering process in US would need to be confirmed through local channels.

We encourage local users in US to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to dine at or order from Panda Express.

This panda location officially opened on 11/20/2024. I placed a mobile order for pickup and received a call that they didn’t have my entree and asked what I would like instead so that it would be ready by pickup time. The staff inside offered me a drink while I waited, and I was very impressed with the customer service at this location. I work nearby and I will definitely be frequenting this location!

If you order anything from this location before DoorDash leaves your front door open all of your items. With the way that they restaurant delivery systems are going there’s no accountability between the delivery guy and the business as you see in the picture we received white rice when we should’ve received the walnut shrimp. The restaurant was willing to replace it, but I had to drive in to get it and all I got was an apology Versus them, sending it out and delivering at the same way, I ordered it. Update: we ordered from them again and before the driver left my driveway I went through everything to make sure it was there and of course there was something missing. After a brief conversation using Google translate, he shrugged to his shoulder, said sorry and left. I called the store and told him that there were items not in my order and he asked if I checked the bag before I left. It was clearly a delivery order that was not done correctly. after talking to Junior, who apparently is the store manager, I’m supposed to make another order and call him and tell him to put a drink in the order. I’m not looking for exceptional service. I’m just looking for what I order and this place seems to not be able to do that at all.

Ah, Panda Express. One approaches such establishments with a tempered palate, resigned to the inevitability of the familiar—yet perhaps with the faintest glimmer of hope. The Beijing Beef, with its crimson glaze, first appears as a bold promise. Alas, the flavors proved more timid than tantalizing, the sauce clinging like a heavy coat on a rainy day, nearly drowning the delicate crisp of each piece. And while the orange chicken held the promise of brightness and zest, it too sank under the weight of its sugary glaze. I was left searching for nuance, for complexity; instead, I found only a pleasant yet predictable sweetness. The Lo Mein, regrettably, did little to restore the experience. The noodles, tangled and slick, were dressed in a sauce that seemed more to obscure than to elevate. Each bite hinted at potential, a whisper of garlic and soy, but soon settled into a familiar, one-dimensional note. Yet, perhaps it is not fair to seek a culinary epiphany from Panda Express. For all its modest failings, it does deliver a sort of comfort—an unpretentious, reliable indulgence that fills the stomach, if not quite the soul.
