About Panda Express

Panda Express, located at 1325 Fry Rd in Katy, TX, is a Chinese Restaurant providing fast-food style dining. Based on recent customer reviews, the experience at this location appears to be somewhat inconsistent, particularly concerning newer menu items.

One customer who visited for lunch on Easter Sunday found the restaurant not overly busy. They confirmed the opening hours before arriving, suggesting a proactive approach to customer convenience. This reviewer ordered plates along with egg rolls and veggie spring rolls and reported that all the food was "very good" and met the expected "good Panda Express quality." They also noted the service as being "fast and friendly," indicating a positive dine-in experience for standard menu items.

However, another customer with several years of patronage at this location had a significantly negative experience with a new menu item, the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, ordered through the drive-thru. They described it as the "nastiest meal" they had ever had and discarded it. This reviewer also pointed out that the actual dish did not resemble the picture, strongly advising others to avoid this particular menu item. This suggests that while standard Panda Express fare may be consistent, newer or specific dishes might not meet expectations.

Based on the available reviews, the Panda Express on Fry Rd in Katy, TX, generally provides the expected quality for its regular menu items, along with fast and friendly service, particularly for dine-in customers. However, there may be inconsistencies in the quality and presentation of newer menu additions like the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, especially for drive-thru orders. Information regarding the restaurant's environment beyond it not being too busy during a specific lunch hour, or any specific promotional offers, is not provided in these reviews.

Came for lunch while visiting Katy on a Easter Sunday; it was not too busy. Checked that it was open before coming since some businesses were closed. Got plates and egg roll and veggie spring rolls. All the food was very good and up to a good Panda Express quality. Service was fast and friendly.

I have been going here for several years and have always gotten the same thing except today. I went to the drive thru window and saw the GRILLED TERIYAKI CHICKEN. It looked great. I ordered it and took it home. It had to be the nastiest meal I had ever had. I tossed it in the trash. The actual order was not even close to the picture. Do yourself a favor and skip this meal

Completely dropped the ball. Hadn't eaten all day and I still had nearly 2 hours before my destination. Went through drive-thru and asked for an extra packet of teriyaki sauce. Only received 1. Then I said welp, guess they forgot that and lo and behold, so was the utensils. Now I’m driving on a super empty stomach and I called the store to let them know and all she could say is “I’ll talk to the person in the window”. Yeah great. I threw away my food because why can’t anyone just do their job right? How do you forget the utensils and you are serving FOOD? Ridiculous. Now I’m at chic-fil-a ordering me food. Just get it right
