About Panda Express
Panda Express is one of the most beloved fast-food chains that offer a unique blend of Chinese and American cuisine, catering to food enthusiasts who crave for something different yet familiar. With its signature menu items and welcoming atmosphere, Panda Express has become a go-to destination for people looking for a quick, tasty meal in New York City. Located at 663 9th Ave, near Hell's Kitchen, this Panda Express location is conveniently situated in the heart of Manhattan, making it easily accessible to both locals and tourists.
Known for its mouthwatering dishes, Panda Express offers a variety of menu options that cater to different tastes. From classic Chinese-American dishes like Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef to popular appetizers such as Cheese Rangoon and Honey Walnut Shrimp, there's something for everyone. The restaurant is particularly famous for its perfectly crispy chicken and tender shrimp, which are beloved by regular customers. Additionally, Panda Express offers a selection of noodle dishes, including Lomein with Chili Shrimp and Beijing Beef, providing a satisfying meal for those who prefer a heartier option.
One of the standout features of dining at Panda Express is the availability of rice as a side dish. This is a pleasant surprise in New York City, where rice is not always commonly offered. For many customers, especially those with a Filipino or Asian background, this makes the dining experience even more enjoyable and reminiscent of home. The restaurant's commitment to serving authentic flavors with a twist has earned it a loyal customer base, including both locals and international visitors.
The dining experience at Panda Express is enhanced by its clean and comfortable environment. While the dine-in area may be small, it is well-maintained, and the restrooms are kept tidy, which is always a plus for any eating establishment. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring that customers have a pleasant experience from start to finish.
Customer feedback highlights both the strengths and areas for improvement of this Panda Express location. Many diners praise the authenticity of the flavors and the consistent quality of dishes like Cheese Rangoon. However, some customers have expressed disappointment in the taste of certain menu items compared to other locations they've tried. For example, one customer mentioned that while their usual order of Lomein with Chili Shrimp and Beijing Beef was not as flavorful as expected, the Cheese Rangoon remained a standout dish.
Despite these occasional hiccups, Panda Express continues to be a popular choice for those seeking Asian comfort food in New York City. The combination of authentic flavors, convenient location, and reasonable pricing makes it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for Chinese-American cuisine.

Customer Reviews
As a dedicated fan of Panda Express in the Philippines, I seized the opportunity to explore the original taste of this renowned American fast-food chain during my visit to New York. Located conveniently near Hell's Kitchen, this Panda Express promised a culinary experience that would allow me to compare the authentic flavors to the localized version back home. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find the menu mirroring the familiar offerings in the Philippines, with popular dishes such as Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp prominently featured. My curiosity led me to order these favorites, and I was not disappointed. While the flavors in New York exhibited subtle differences from those in the Philippines, they maintained a delightful balance, appealing to my Filipino palate with a nuanced American twist. The Orange Chicken, a quintessential Panda Express staple, delivered a crispy exterior with a tangier, more pronounced citrus flavor than its Filipino counterpart. The Honey Walnut Shrimp, meanwhile, showcased a richer, creamier glaze, elevating the dish's overall flavor profile. Both dishes were executed with the same consistency and quality that has made Panda Express a beloved name worldwide. One notable advantage of dining at Panda Express in New York is the availability of rice—a comforting staple for many Filipinos and a pleasant surprise in a city where it can be challenging to find restaurants serving rice meals. This made the dining experience even more enjoyable and reminiscent of home. However, there was one unsettling incident during my visit. While I was in the restroom, my girlfriend witnessed a homeless man enter the restaurant and cause a disturbance. It was a frightening experience, but fortunately, the crew acted swiftly and effectively to manage the situation, and the individual eventually left. This incident was the only setback in an otherwise pleasant experience. In summary, Panda Express in Hell's Kitchen offers a delectable and authentic taste of its original American flavors, making it an ideal destination for Filipino tourists seeking a familiar yet distinct culinary experience. The restaurant seamlessly bridges the gap between the original and localized versions, providing a satisfying and accessible option for those longing for a taste of Asian comfort food in the bustling heart of New York City.
I am honestly a bit disappointed, I ordered my usual which is lomein with chili shrimp and beijing beef but the taste of the food is not as good as other panda express joints I've tried. Only the cheese rangoon is consistent. The place itself is tiny for dine in, but it's clean and has restrooms so that's the plus.
Clean. Popular with travelers and those who work remotely in the area. Smells delicious. There are various dishes with mushrooms to choose from. There are dishes with chicken. The staff is skilled and friendly. The tables for visitors are all clean. I liked it.
As a Chinese, this is the worst Chinese fast food I have ever eaten in my life. It's not worth $15, Flushing has four dishes for $9 and comes with a bottle of drink. It is worth affirming that the clerk is very nice and serves with a smile
As we love Chinese food and staying in the RIU Plaza Times Square Hotel just along the road, we definitely had to come here. Food tasted amazing, would recommend to people and tasted delicious. Orange Chicken was lovely.
